Sun garden has really gone downhill especially in the past year. I ordered delivery yesterday and I just threw it away. Crab rangoons were like cardboard and the sesame seed chicken didn't taste like sesame seed chicken. Have no idea what it was but it was definitely salty no sweetness. The fried rice was terrible. It was just brown rice or steamed white rice with some soy thrown on it. No egg, onions of anything or fried for that matter. They've definitely lost my business now. They used to be so good and cared about the quality of their food but now it's just terrible. Not to mention that my son and got very sick to our stomachs from eating it which wasn't much before we threw it away. We're feeling better now but had a rough night last night. This place has always served mediocre food, with mediocre service. It's that place you drop into when you want a cheap meal without a drive through. After my dine-in experience this evening I won't be back. My service was bad enough and part of my meal didn't make it to the table but that was the least of my concern. It was the open mocking of another diner. This gentleman for whatever reason chose to live stream his meal and was talking to a few friends that earned the 1 star. He wasn't being loud or disruptive by any means. A little awkward sure but there where 4 diners in the restaurant so it wasn't hard to hear his conversation. The gentleman clearly had a severe hand shake that looked similar to Parkinson's and was slowly eating with chop sticks. The two servers in the restaurant stood at the front counter snickering, looking his direction, and one of these women began mimicking his hand movements. I had a random craving for takeout Chinese food. Found Sun Garden through Yelp searches. Staff was very friendly and amicable. Food came out fairly fast. I ordered the sweet & sour chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. Both menu items were delicious as expected. Portions were also very generous. The shrimp were large and plump. The only issue with my order is that the mushrooms were spotty, clearly signaling them on the verge of spoilage. I also don't see mushrooms added too often to this dish, so maybe they were trying to make use of them before they went bad. He barley wanted to give me chop sticks. I would not recommend this place, I'd much rather go to Panda Express, sadly. My lunch special was General tso chicken, it was very gross and soaked in sauce. This place is what it is. If you go to Sun and expect a four or five star experience then you are fooling yourself. We called in our order and it was ready when we arrived. The staff was very friendly. The General Tso Chicken was ok, I've had better from other similar places, but the crab Rangoon was below average, we both had one and were done. Then, the original owners sold it and it hasn't been worth a CRAP since then. Sorry to be so blunt but this place really is horrible. I have no idea how they are in business. The wait staff are very friendly but can be quite pushy at times and they let kids run around, answer phones, etc. Quite disturbing. My conclusion on this place is; depending on what you order will weigh heavily on your review (obviously). I ordered moo goo gia pan, general tsos chicken, sweet and sour soup, and eggdrop soup for my boyfriend and I. The moo goo gai pan and eggdrop were disappointing but my boyfriends order was good. I do not want to give this business any stars except the bathroom was clean with the essence of mothballs. I ordered the most simplistic items and yes all its gets is a EHHH. Clean establishment, but i think I have more Chinese in me. The Crab Ragoons were too sweet. That did not bother me as much as the obvious problem with the wonton soup. Can I say Salt-on soup. There was so much salt in it I could not finish it. To top it off there was a meager amount of mystery meat in the actual wonton. They were generous with the 3 chives in the soup. Someone please translate for me, I asked the server if the vegetable roll and the egg roll were the same, she said yeah. She returned with these two pinky sized egg rolls that were vegetable rolls. I asked them to add 2.00 on the ticket to make it to the minimum they require. I was told they couldn't do that that I had to order something else. So, I'm glad I did not read the reviews before I went here. My first time was on a Thursday night, take out was busy. I loved it so much, I came back Friday night and the place was packed, the phone was ringing off the hook, I never thought I would get my take out. Sure enough, 15 minutes later, it was good and hot. I love the beef teriacki sticks and the spicy shrimp in garlic sauce. The shrimp are large and the veggies are delicious! I might need to invite my family with me next time. read more

Even though the website, Yelp, Google & they're very own takeout menu clearly offers delivery. That is not in fact correct at all. I attempted to place a large order for delivery at 8:30pm unfortunately the employee who was taking the calls very rudely stated that delivery was not available & that they were just 2 busy. I will make sure that my family & friends never orders from them again nor go in & sit in the dining room. If they are just to busy for basic customer service.
