The $100 per person should have had at least a light sandwich meal + beverage included. We feel there should have been more than 3 wineries visited. We do not feel we got full value for $400. The shuttle driver forgot to pick us up! When I called to see where he was, about 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time, Simer was rude and short with me. She said "be patient he is coming." She never called him to check and lied about it. What kind of shuttle service does not have a proper dispatch system to make sure all the guests are accounted for?! I was patient and the shuttle still never came, so when I called back that's when Simer realized he forgot to pick us up. She had to dispatch a new shuttle from Kamloops and when this one finally arrived we had to experience a terrifying drive as he sped down the road to try to make our flight. Overall, we waited an hour and 45 minutes for them to pick us up. After the fact, I had multiple phone calls with Simer to rectify the situation and she kept giving me the run around. They only gave me $15 dollars back...that was not worth the stress we had to go through as we had multiple flights that day to try to make!

Right beside where you pick up your baggage, there is a map of the helicopter ski routes featured nearby. Kamloops only has a population of 90,000 so this airport is tiny, yet has an updated, modern look to it, while keeping the colonial western theme of the arid ranching landscape surrounding it. Parking is really handy with the lot directly in front of the doors. The little windy road we drove on to get to the airport was interesting. It is not a road that you would want to speed on to make up time, instead it is scenic and a fun good bye view of Kamloops. The drive could be a half hour depending on what end of the city you are driving from. The feel of small city airports is casual with mostly locals around and a few tourists, without the crush of humanity we associate with some airports. I love walking on the tarmac to get on the plane, as it makes the flight more real, and you can take a selfie looking like a rock star standing outside by the door, hair ablaze in a windy salute.

You'll walk in and out if your plane so dress accordingly. If you have an oversized carry on just place it on the racks and they'll load it up at the back of the plane. There isn't a bunch of options for snacks or food but there's still a couple of shops to grab things you forgot or if you need something to eat. There aren't very many cabs waiting outside usually. You'll have to call one or else take the general shuttle and to get downtown it will cost $11 per person. Best deal if you're alone.

The room is large and we have a separate sitting area with a big couch, desk and two TV's. Bathroom is clean and sparkling and a curved shower curtain rod- so better than the straight ones. The bed is a large king too with comfy pillows. I love that there is a fridge and a microwave and we popped a quick bag of popcorn that I just happened to have with me. The keurig Is a nice touch and makes much better coffee than the old machines We pretty much went to bed as soon as we arrived as we had a very early coach picking us up, 6:05 AM to take us back to the train to get the rest of the way to Banff. They did have breakfast out when we were leaving so we had a quick tasty piece of banana bread along with our coffee. If we've been here longer, we would've stopped to enjoy the fitness center! This is a nice hotel. We definitely would stay here again.

We found exactly what we were looking for. And now, Kate is booking our Shore Excursions for us. We like the fact that booking with Kate, is all paid in Canadian Dollars. And she does the homework. The office is right on Victoria Street. Easy to find. I highly recommend using a professional when booking your travel and cruise needs. Give this place a try, and give Kate a chance to help you out .

The cabins were recently renovated and super cute! No restaurant or other amenities on site, which was totally fine, as the kitchen is super well stocked, and there is a BBQ on the deck. Very peaceful and quiet, people were friendly, nice walking nearby, field to play games in. We also enjoyed the scenic drive in and out, passing by so many cows and their young calves. We plan to return.

The customer service is on the lax side and not as attentive as your typical resort but it's a cute little getaway just a few hours out of Vancouver. The prices are decent, restaurant isn't anything to write home about but it's ok. I prefer cooking my own food anyways. It had a concrete pool to tan at if you do t want to swim in the lake. They have little boats with outbound motors for rent at $70 day including gas. No complaints. It's under new management so I think they may just be trying to work out the quirks so I'll give it another try. Be prepared to bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are really bad. The manager did say that this year was really bad for them. The place I was in was clean and decorated beautiful and rustic. It had a true cabin feel

Lots of parking. Boat Launch. Hiking trails. Very kid friendly. To many dogs on the loose in the beach area. Watch out for Duck itch. Big problem. Mosquitoes too.

Our tour director, Laura, was the perfect person for a job like this ... likable; fun; hard working; concerned; and she knew her stuff!!! The accommodations were fabulous, as were the meals ... the trip was well organized and we saw so many sights ... had time to "do our own thing" ... I will definitely be a repeat customer .... !
