We had been staying at Fairmont Hotels, which are known for their high quality (and expense), so I want to keep that in mind as I write this review. The hotel reminds me of one that we have back home, that is set up for families. The lobby is large and spacious. Upon arriving we were greeting by the friendly staff. Our room was on the second floor. It's a large space, with two queen size beds. There was plenty of space for our luggage, a couple extra shares, and even space to exercise. The bathroom was large and had a tub (I prefer a walk-in shower). The place was "nice", but definitely a bit dated. It was clean, but also needed some TLC (worn/chipped paint, etc). There is a large recreation area that contains a pool and hot-tub. We took advantage of the hot tub which was clean and fully operational (lots of jets and bubbles). Plenty of chairs set up in different areas if you had kids and wanted to keep an eye on them. There are also rooms on all three levels that look out on to this area. Overall, a decent experience. I don't know the actual cost would have been, but on the online price is approx $170/$200 for a weeknight/weekend. They also have a restaurant inside that is a nice convenience (reviewed separately).

The good bits: staff were friendly, the room spacious and clean, beds very comfortable and WiFi speed decent. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, but no room safe. The downsides: the hotel feels quite tired, and our room faced the atrium, so it had no natural light or ventilation. There was a lingering smell of chlorine from the swimming pool and echoing, penetrating noise from other guests until late at night from the atrium seating area (take ear plugs). The air conditioning was effective but very noisy. Overall, it did the job, but I would not stay again here by choice.

You were conducting company business on our time as observed by Kirsten and my wife, This is reasons why we were behind schedule. The $100 per person should have had at least a light sandwich meal + beverage included. We feel there should have been more than 3 wineries visited. We do not feel we got full value for $400. I regret that I will not be recommending your establishment to my organization. My experience was very below customer expectations. i was also HARASSED BY THE OWNER MAAJE TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW NOT GOING TO HAPPEN MAAJE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not treat yourself and order one to your room? Beth the manager was gracious and accommodating of my very late arrival, even though they do not normally have a night duty manager. I was planning to jet-out early but that grand slam breakfast really slowed me down. I think I will have another on my way thru next week!!! So when I needed high speed internet she took me to the business centre or if I needed laundry service she guided me much better than the reception could or any information about Kamloops she was always there to provide it and any help when needed She was more of a concierge or guest relations person who I could count on My stay here was really memorable one With the best business centre and internet speed over 200 mbps I was able to work and unwind and chill at the same time Being in down town the hotel s centrallly located too with some great places to visit Would love to go to Kamloops again and stay in the same hotel

The shuttle driver forgot to pick us up! When I called to see where he was, about 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time, Simer was rude and short with me. She said "be patient he is coming." She never called him to check and lied about it. What kind of shuttle service does not have a proper dispatch system to make sure all the guests are accounted for?! I was patient and the shuttle still never came, so when I called back that's when Simer realized he forgot to pick us up. She had to dispatch a new shuttle from Kamloops and when this one finally arrived we had to experience a terrifying drive as he sped down the road to try to make our flight. Overall, we waited an hour and 45 minutes for them to pick us up. After the fact, I had multiple phone calls with Simer to rectify the situation and she kept giving me the run around. They only gave me $15 dollars back...that was not worth the stress we had to go through as we had multiple flights that day to try to make!

It's about an $11 shuttle ride from the airport or else a $30ish cab ride. The breakfast has hot items like eggs and bacon but also has scones, yogurt parfait station, fruits and baked goods. Staff is very friendly and welcoming - always asking how your time is going. The walls seem to transport noise though so you might hear the neighbours or the kids running in the hallways. The hot tub and pool are outdoors so remember that in the winter months those will not be open. The restaurant was also closed for the season which meant having to go elsewhere for dinner. Hilton has a free rewards program as well - might as well sign up for it when you check in!

Thick white towels and modern bathrooms. High quality bedding and comfortable mattresses. Special touches such as a microwave for guest use and a non-traditional vending machine with interesting snacks are a bonus. The rooftop (actually 2nd floor) pool/hot tub area is spectacular. Kids and adults alike enjoy using the space. Poolside bar and meal service is available. Staff routinely maintain the pool area, picking up stray towels and dirty dishes. The upgraded executive package is a good deal, as it includes underground parking and a breakfast voucher for the on-site restaurant. The breakfast menu has many options from pancakes to eggs Benedict, and the food is high quality and prepared to order. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Kamloops and is steps from a full-service grocery store, a large drug store, and many cafes and boutiques. I wear earplugs when sleeping, so I cannot comment on room-to-room noise. I don't feel that the noise transfer between rooms is atypical for a building of it's age/construction type. I sleep better here than at home. Overall exceptional experience. I look forward to staying here.

When we arrived the building was updated and modern. Smelled nice and it was hot that day, however the hotel was cooled to a good temp. The staff was very friendly. Went to the room and it was so-so. Not the best room, but not bad enough to go to a different hotel. The area of concern was the riff raff they allow in the hotel. The level of clientele was low. We really go to know this when we were trying to sleep. People were partying in the hallway and were very loud. We called down to the manager and they said they would take care of it. We waited and the noise came back. I called down again and management said they would be removing the loud guests shortly. The noise then stopped, however a good night's sleep was out of the question at this point. Not sure if it is the proximity to the casino, but the quality of customers was very low during our stay.
