Where do I begin? Uhh... go to Comfoot Spa in Monterey or PG? Uncomfortable position on an uncomfortable table -- lying down with my feet in a bucket of warm water. My back was very unhappy -- so I was given a pillow. The Water seemed pointless. The Therapist yanked my curls into straight hair. Reflexology does not use oil, but she slathered me up good and apparently didn't know any reflexology or trigger points. The endless chattering in(presumably) Mandarin between her and her colleagues was definitely not relaxing. She did not moderate pressure and nearly squashed my patella. Sadly, the feet and lower leg torture lasted 1/2 hour; then I was asked to go in a "room" where I undressed and lay face down. The sheet smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The pressure, again, was uniform and painful when applied across the scapula. I was grateful she didn't go near my hair again. Today, I just finished my hard work. When I drive to go home, I found the Sun Foot Spa which just open for several days. I think that will be a good way after a whole day's job. The Sun Foot Spa is so comfortable. The situation is so relax and clean. The beautiful service girl is so nice and skillful. She is not only tell me what is problem about my foot, but also tell me how to maintain in the future. After I did this massage in the Sun Foot Spa, I decide to tell my friends to experience the wonderful things. read more

So I've been coming here for about a year now and I've always enjoyed my massage here they have reasonable prices and play relaxing music but today my experience was a lot different, I don't know if the person who gave me a massage was new but I was very disappointed. I was just waiting for it to be better and it never happened it was terrible. I gave three stars because like I said every other time I've been here I've enjoyed my massage. I will give them one more try and hope my experience next time will be different. Consistency is key for me. read more

Went there yesterday for the first time and thought it was wonderful for the price. $25.00 for one hour is very reasonable. I had Kasey and she has magical hands. Was apprehensive at first, since I did not know what to expect. Will definitely be going there on a regular basis. Took two relatives with me and we all got the same treatment. Three women that obviously knew what they were doing. We went away much more relaxed. The place was clean and the women were very friendly and nice. Would recommend this place! read more

One of the worst massages ever. I don't even know I would it call it a massage. I am in terrible pain. Masseuse was just cooking garlic and came with smelly hands. Shady place. Got my foot massage at Sun Foot Spa today. First time visiting this place and one of the reasons I want to post this review is that I got to meet the owners during the visit and they are absolutely delightful people. I am somewhat a newbie to Asian foot massage and they explained the service to me and ensured how it will help me relax. The staff who did the massage seemed very skillful and was very patient in explaining to me how it works. Quite educational. And I do feel so much better after the massage. The only reason why I didn't give the experience a 5 star is because I haven't had the chance to try out the other types of massages yet. Will plan on trying them soon. Since my work is very nearby, I'm hoping this can become a regular spot for me to come relax and heal my body! read more

Went here for the first time last week with a friend who frequents foots spas. I had never been to one before so I was looking forward to some relaxing with my friend. There was a gal and a guy....I had the guy. The first thing I didn't like was the fact that they talked to each other in Vietnamese during the massage. I didn't want lotion on my face (neither did my friend) so he didn't do my head either.....the one thing I was looking forward to. He was very rough...the whole massage pretty much hurt (not a bit relaxing). Then when it cam time to pay I gave a 20% tip (should've given less) and when the guy saw my receipt he pulled out my friend's receipt and showed me what she tipped her gal (it was more like 50% but she actually enjoyed her massage). I could not believe he was actually asking for me to do what my friend had done! Seriously? Who asks for a bigger tip after someone has already tipped them 20%? i went here cause i had a good experience with one of the young lady. but today i suggest that don't ever come to this place, no wonder the couple that had service earlier than me didn't leave any tip. i requested a 60min foot massage and 30 min table. then the lady said make it 60 min foot massage and 60min table for me to feel better for a 2 hour massage and i agree. the guy did my massage, he didn't do the usual foot massage getting hot water to put on your feet first he started to massage my back where i don't feel anything. he is pressing to soft and also it bothers me because he is talking to someone using his bluetooth. probably he thinks i am falling asleep and there are time that he is not even pressing my back. I was moving or scratching my head so he knows I am aware on how he is doing. suddenly he said I am done. I said is that the foot massage? he said that's the table massage. I said table massage is going at the back and use oil and more detail massage. she called the lady, i told them the other lady that did mine before send me at the back to do the table massage. Both of them were arguing, maybe they had misunderstanding on the service i wanted. The old lady said just pay $25, while explaining to them about the table massage i was trying to pull my credit card in my sweater pocket so i can pay the $25 and not the $45 since it was not really the table massage. Then suddenly the lady told me "i know you, you went here before and did not pay". I said now you are accusing of not paying. why would i go back to this place if i didn't pay. i even asked her, you want the proof of payment? I was about to report them to the police for the accusation but still try to be calm. Then i was trying to get my credit card to pay them even i am not satisfied. Suddenly this guy, just pushed me away said don't pay, just go. So i went out, and didn't bother to argue with them anymore. So i was waiting for my husband to pick me up and suddenly this old lady came out again talking to her boss, and I explained to her what happened. They're telling I don't want to pay, I said i was about to pay them but they were rude and told me to leave and not pay. If i can put a 0 star in this review, I will.
