Be wary of Sun Motorsports. We bought a brand new Honda Pioneer from them and they held it for us for three months until we could transport it to its eventual home in western Colorado. When we picked it up from Sun, we found that they had driven it 17 miles and 8 hours after we had purchased it - and when we had bought it, it was in a crate/unbuilt. Their explanation was that they were driving it from the front of the lot to inside every day. If this was a "sold" vehicle, why was it on display and being driven regularly and not in a holding area? Their restitution was to give us a free maintenance service when they knew full well the machine was housed 6+ hours away from them. Several months later we got a Honda recall notice and verified with Sun that our machine/VIN needed to have the recall service performed. We took it to a Honda dealer in western Colorado to find out that Sun had apparently performed the recall service as the new parts were already on the machine. However, they neglected to re-install a part that was required as part of the recall service and then also never reported to Honda (also required) that they had performed the recall service - which is why we were told it still needed to be done. Unprofessional practices in multiple areas of Sun's operation so be very cautious when you purchase a machine from them! read more

I was going to buy a $2000 honda engine, but after talking to 5 different min wage sales people they didn't know how to sell me one or even what an engine was...... I filed a BBB complaint to.... If you look up stupid in the dictionary you see the sales people of this place.... I can't wait till they go out of business read more

Worked with Nick in the parts dept picking up some parts and seeking advice on my new KTM 350. Nick was super knowledgable! Thanks Sun for hiring enthusiastic and knowledgeable folks. Best parts dept I have experienced in a long time. read more

I found my way to Sun Enterprises after a terrible experience at G Force. I called Sun Enterprises Tuesday (just before closing) to get pricing on a Polaris Ranger with a bunch of accessories, David M had pricing to me less than 10 minutes later. I went in today to finalize the paperwork and they are delivering the vehicle (with all the attachments installed) this Saturday, less than four days after my first call to them. David and the rest of the staff were great, very efficient and thorough. read more

Service department totally sucks they take forever to do the work after making you wait for six weeks for an appointment, and depending on the year they wont even work on your stuff. They are very poor with dealing with service customers. I will definitely go somewhere else to buy my Polaris ranger this month read more

I had an appt to bring my bike in last weekend for a diagnosis. I told the guy that my brother in law had already cleaned the carburetor 3 times and soaked it as well. He also made sure that all needles and jets were cleaned. I asked the worker there how much the diagnosis would be and he quoted me $100. He stated that since I've already had the carbs cleaned it's probably just the pilot that's clogged but they wouldn't know until the diagnostic is done. So when I brought it in, I made sure I repeated what I said on the phone. That I didn't need another carb cleaning. The guy told me before hand that after they diagnose it, they will call me to let me know why my bike wasn't starting properly and if I wanted to go ahead and get that fixed. Well no they never called to tell me anything and went ahead and did another carburetor cleaning (which again, didn't need to be done.) After that he proceeded to tell me they switched out the spark plugs too, which I never asked them to do that cus I could do that myself. And I'm sure spark plugs didn't have anything to do with why my bike didn't start with the choke off. Basically I only needed the pilot unclogged and O ring fixed nothing else that they are charging me for now. Also, before I dropped the bike off I asked them again how much this was this going to cost me and he said $270. Well now they're charging me $290. I'm pissed. Lesson learned, never bring anything to Suns. Go else where, where they're not gonna charge you up the ass for something that was already fixed. Only fixed it again to charge me more money. Bunch of money hungry people. Also wish I knew about G-power Motorsports. Same bike, same year at G-power was only $4300 out the door. Suns $6000 out the door . read more

Bait and switch! Went with cash in hands to look. Talked to salesman for 30 min on what I wanted. He told me he has what I'm looking for at that price in another warehouse. Made an appointment to test ride the next day. Showed up and salesman played dumb and acted like we never talked and said he didn't know what I was talking about and had no such vehicle. Tried to up sell me on a more expensive vehicle. I walked out. Never again. read more

Well ..... where to begin.... Purchased a 2012 Honda CBR1000rr from Sun last July. Brand new in the crate "left over" inventory. Also purchased $4000.00 plus in accessories and gear. and a prepaid maintenance plan. 08/28/2014 brought it in for 2nd service with 3700 miles on a pampered adult ridden never raced owned by a 55 year old scared guy. upon checking it in the service writer gal advises me that the may be a leak in my front left fork. I ask her if it is covered by warranty ,she did not answer my question. I got a call later that day from "Billy" to say that in fact the left fork seal was leaking badly and needed replacing it was going to cost $250.00 approximately for just the one side. Also he had mentioned that they had spoken with Honda to see if they could warranty it and they refused to honor the new bike warranty. So this was my 1st purchase from Sun ,but my oldest Son has bought 5 motorcycles from him his MRA teammate has purchased 2 from Sun and I have referred co-workers from my work to there and they both purchased top of the line "RAZORS" with all the trimmings. I assumed that I was a valued customer ,but when I called to discuss this with the general manager "Mark" , I was told that he was busy and would call me back. HE NEVER DID. I ritually inspect my Motorcycle before and after every single ride and never noticed this "leak" prior to bringing it to Sun for my pre paid service. Oh by the way it was more money to pre pay it than pay individually. The apathy and complete disregard for me as a customer is shocking. I don't believe there was anything wrong with my bike prior to bringing it to Sun for this service. And even if it was Sun should have warranty covered the repair . It is very clear to me that they do not value their customers or plan on any customer retention. While I was waiting on my ride I was actually considering a second purchase from them. Now no way ever. Mark you have lost a good customer and a valuable referral for life. Walt Disney once said "If people like the way you treat them ,they will tell a few friends and family. If they don't like the way you treat them they tell everybody!" Anytime I am asked about Honda motorcycles I will share my very negative experience and tell them to STAY AWAY from Sun Enterprises FULL STOP! In December when I trade my CBR1000rr I will be purchasing a Yahama R1. This is a Horrible dealership and a brood of vipers who work there and follow the dishonest business practices of the GM. Stay away!!! I gave this dealer every opportunity to do the right thing, but they simply do not care. Guys and Gals there are so many other options in Denver and the front range . Go elsewhere! read more

I just recently purchased a Honda Fury from Sun Enterprises and I was very pleased with the experience. I worked with Jay Hodges who was an excellent sales person. He never pressured me, he was very knowledgeable, and totally upfront with the buying process. The finance team was excellent and helped get me a lower interest rate and payment. read more

Service department here is a JOKE. Took our 3 month old RZR here for an amp/speaker issue, plus a leaking axle...to which they said they couldn't find any leak so they "cleaned it off"...said the amp was on order for a recalled /updated part...never heard about it coming in, so I called and it miraculously showed up that day. Came in on a scheduled appointment that they said would take 30 mins, left it all day waiting for a call, they never called, our salesman said at 430 it was on a lift (when we dropped it at 930 that morning) only to find out they didn't do ANY of the work that was on schedule... Said it was a different amp and they had to order a different one, which makes 0 sense being that it's the only amp they use in the ride command rzr, AND they once again just cleaned off the axle saying "if" it leaked again they'll order a new seal kit. Waste of a whole day assuming they'd fix the issues we were there for on the second go around! Will not let these people touch my rzrs again .Over 48 hours of my time wasted pulling my trailer out to take my rzr in for 0 work and 0 communication. Call and update your customers! Purchased 2 rzr 1000s, a harley and 2 trailers and they still can't take care of their customers...sad! read more

They are ok on the sales end but definitely terrible for service...I brought in my rzr for service with 472 miles on the machine for the 500 mile service and oil change. The service manager recommended that I get the piston rings changed. He explained that it looked like there was a little bit of sediment that was ingested. He told me that he checked the compression and it was fine. He did the upsell thing and said he could clean the track and I should be good as long as nothing else was ingested. This was the whole reason why I declined the piston ring recommendation. I took my machine on one ride and at 526 miles my engine was blown. The motor was dry...I called Sun back and spoke to the manager and they WILL NOT do anything because they are saying that I declined the piston rings. I told him that I find it a little peculiar that the machine was running just fine before I brought it in and after a fresh oil change, it was completely dry after 54 miles. read more

I recently bought my first KTM used with lots of problems. Sun has been very helpful in getting me fixed up. Parts guys are really hepful and prices are reasonable although they don't seem to know what to do if a part has been discontinued and they have to order basic things that should be in stock. Apparel is priced well and the employees have been very helpful (haven't had anyone try to push anything on me). Service is also great... first time I brought in my carb and they checked it out for me (no charge)... second time I brought in my stator and they again checked it out for me no charge (this saved me $170 because my resistance check was inconclusive and I would have replaced an additional part that was not damaged). I haven't dealt with the sales folks, but my feeling is this is a well run customer friendly business. 4 stars because I haven't been a customer long enough to deem they are 'as good as it gets', but I'm definately a fan and don't see how they could've treated me better. read more
