Wells Branch location. Plain rude. Guy at the check-out was just patronizing and the other guy with cane walking up was no better. Someone at Precision recommended them and their response was "Precision are not mechanics and they don't know what they are doing". I was having a hard time getting my codes to read on my car and put over 500 miles on it. They said just continue to drive it. They acted like I was inconveniencing them. GREAT SERVICE! I got a flat on my way to work and this was my first time at McSpaddens. Kriss was awesome, she gave me a great deal on my tires and even went out of her way to drive me to work AND picked me up later when the work on my car was complete. They gave me a solid warranty on my tires and even hooked me up with a hub cap that I was missing from the week before. Came here for a state inspection on a weekday morning. Quick and simple, 30 minutes, fixed price. However, I do have to say that I've experience better. There are parking (about 15 total) on both sides of the building but there are always several Time Warner Cable vans taking up the prime spots. On that day, the majority of the spots were already taken. Wanting to make sure I'm parking at the appropriate spot, I asked the owner. In return, he responded with "ummm... at a parking spot?" in a "are you dumb" tone. Not a good start for a first time customer. The waiting room is nice but small. If you do plan on waiting here, you might just have to stare at the counter (and the owner) for the whole time, which can be awkward. Lastly, a simple process of sticker replacement was done sloppily. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post my pic due to Yelp policy. But essentially, there were sticker bits everywhere on my dashboard and a ton of white scratch marks right under the sticker area. It's not a big deal but this tells me the level of attentiveness their mechanics put on details. Went here recently because I had a flat tire. They reviewed my tire and determined it just needed to be repaired. It was only $21 dollars. They were fast and friendly. They even offer a free shuttle service until done. I like the fact that they are a Christian based company and still believe in fundamental values. Doesn't mean their perfect but the company Christian foundation is something I respect and can appreciate. From my experience there I would highly recommend but to each their own. read more

My daughter picked up a battery for $50. You charged $36 to put it in. You did not fix my issue and whoever replaced the clock spring that sits behind the steering wheel caused severe damage that you refuse to take responsibility for. You told me you are a Christian and a Veteran. Those are not free passes to screw people over. You saying "have a blessed day" is a cover for your dishonesty. My moms car was in need of some work. She is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and her car was having electrical issues. This place was recommended by a friend who had taken their cars here. First, they told her the car needed a new battery. Great! They wanted $250.00 to put it in. They said we could bring a battery and they would put it in. We bought one for $50 at Walmart. Finally, they replaced the clock spring which required removing the steering wheel. When she picked it up, not only had it not fixed the issues. The whole steering wheel is loose and moving. She took it back and they told her they couldn't fix the original issue and that the steering wheel wasn't their fault and would be thousands of dollars to fix. They then told her someone else who previously worked on it could have done it since it was towed there. It was towed more out of convenience since it is having issues and we have triple AAA. They took the steering wheel off!!! I'm just not seeing this as a huge coincidence. She insisted that the steering wheel was not loose or shaking when it arrived. They refused to address it. (I had driven it before as well and can confirm it was not loose.) We took the car here to help my mom out and it now has more issues than it arrived with. Furthermore, the manager continued to tell her how he was a Christian and a Veteran who just wanted to do the right thing throughout this process. Seems like they don't want to be accountable. I'm extremely disappointed as my mom now has zero transportation and this is the last thing she should be worried about. read more

Where do I begin? Before old man McSpadden sold the chain to a conglomerate for $10M a couple of years ago, the service and care was fantastic. Downhill FAST since is all I can say now. Their online appointment reservation system is all but completely pointless (no one ever reads the VERY explicit needs you're looking to address). I had to submit it TWICE. They act like they've never heard of you. No one calls to follow-up. Not a word about what it will cost before doing the work unless you ask. Specifically, I needed to have an oil leak addressed which they'd already performed one year prior (leaking again). "Old system" vs. "new system" had to verify my 24-month claim was valid. They found that yes, I had had the work done about a year ago and falls under their warranty and that they'd take care of it. So far, so good. I had to verbally confirm that I needed to have the oil leak addressed, also needed two new front tires, and the car needed a state safety inspection performed because my registration was expired. Three days later, I finally got the call that my car was ready (after needing to call and ask them the status). Still no-agreed-upon quote for the final total cost. You have to ask! I arrived to pay and only then afterward discovered that they'd had never performed the state inspection I very clearly communicated I needed. THEN, on the way home, it sounded like I'd run over something. What happened was that the engine underbody spalsh shied on the Audi had come loose and was just hanging there, dragging the ground. This experience will be the LAST of a 4-year relationship with what used to be a great company. Shame, really. read more

The service on the car was great that we know of. Just a basic oil change and tire rotation. Service was average. Tools a very long time as the technicians were on break so had to wait to come back. The reason though that I am giving a 1 star review is that my glove box was rummaged through and an iPhone was taken. This happened sometime while the car was there and still have no answers. I really hope for answers on this and have the rough address to provide a manager with to see if it was one of their staff. I would definitely hope this could get solved as well as taken care of. I love this shop! It is a family owned shop and the employees are always so friendly. It is also next to the apt complex I live in. I've taken my car in for routine maintenance, emergency maintenance, state inspections, etc. Each time I leave feeling good and as if I got the best service possible not to mention I don't get upsold on anything. On one occasion I had a flat tire so they repaired it. I drove it home and when I went to leave again it was flat again. I carefully drove it back there. The guy at the counter made light of the situation with some jokes and they changed my tire. All was well. The other occasion was very simple needing my tire pressure checked. This was done at no charge and they did not seem like it was an inconvenience to them. I purchased an alignment with a one year warranty, I had a bent part, that they didn't tell me about it until after it was aligned, which is understandable. I replaced the part and brought it back and they told me the warranty doesn't cover it. (I even called before to make sure it was doable). Screw this place lmao I purchased an alignment at firestone for 40 dollars cheaper and hey my warranty is actually a warranty there. They told me exactly what was wrong (McSpadden's failed to do) and they had no problem setting up an appointment for another alignment with no charge. So my coworker suggested this place. I have been going here since last year. Never had a bad experience either. More than once, I get from them "Oh, it was this tiny little thing, we fixed it, uhhh, no charge for that." I shouldn't have been surprised with another flat tire - they're pretty bald, and I haven't been able to afford new tires until very recently. Since I didn't have the tool for removing the lugs on my pickup, my wheels needed to be towed, and AAA had recommended McSpadden's, which was nearby. What a lucky break! Got a coupon in mail for all kinds of PM. It was a package deal for fluid changes of transmission, brakes, power steering, radiator, oil, plus a bunch of other stuff. I had not done any of these except oil changes in many years. Took in my 2012 RAM on short notice and they did it all plus checked computer, brakes, battery, etc. Nothing else needed. Did not need an oil change so they deducted that from the price on the coupon. Took awhile to finish everything but they were working on my truck the whole time from when I arrived. This is my new mechanic! Super friendly greet, clean, beautiful waiting area w/comp bevvies, professional staff (looks to be family owned and operated?) I feel so comfortable here. I feel their rates are extremely reasonable. They have a tv with 'auto on demand' to show you what is wrong with the vehicle if you're unclear of the auto lingo jibberish they speak. I was looking for a new place to take our vehicles, and was able to get an oil change in the new Malibu real quick, as a walk in, right after work one day around 5 pm. Went that Saturday, around 9:30 am, to get my Tahoe inspected, but I was told there was no way to get it done. That they were booked for pretty much the whole day, which is fine, I had no appointment. I guess the part that rubbed me wrong is that the gentleman I was talking to seemed to not care about my business and offer when he could help me, just a simple "Sorry, can't help you today". When I looked around there were no other customers there, inside or in the parking lot, and all employees were sitting/standing around from what I could tell. I drove in asking if they could find out what was going on with my tire pressure, as my Honda kept dinging at me telling me it was low. I noticed my right tire was having issues, figured it was due to the horribly cold weather lately. He smiled at me and said he would take a look at it right away. As I was sitting and waiting I over heard him tell other customers they were on an hour wait! But he took care of my right away, and helped me out even though they were super busy today-I'm sure he could tell how concerned I was about my tires. Another gentlemen was helping a customer out, and I over heard him talking about the customer but in a great way! It was so nice to hear a worker talk positively about customers. He said, "that guy was such a nice customer. He was friendly and fun to chat with". It really made me feel great, and led me to think that they take care of everyone they come in contact with. This store is amazing. I come to find out I had a nail in my tire!? I had no idea. They took it upon themselves to fix it, and I offered to pay for the repair, but all he said was to remember them when I needed help with my vehicle the next time. What an amazing customer service experience! Both guys who worked today, were amazing. I highly recommend this spot for your tire and automotive needs. I was recommended this place through my mom. She is pretty picky so when she recommends a place then I usually have to say it must be good! I stopped in for my inspection was told an hour wait, they had free sodas, water, Gatorade, coffee and full TV if you wanted to catch a show. The restroom was phenomenally clean. My wait ended up being like 30-45 minutes. Highly recommend and will be returning with any other car issues I might need to take care of.
