Okay ya'll, here's my review for take 5 When I went here to get my car oil changed and looked at (you know just to be sure the oil was still good) the oil technicians knew EXACTLY what to do and they told me what type of oil my car took & they told me everything I needed to know. :) the service is LITERALLY top tier (well for me) they always offered me a water bottle no matter what. I have been coming to this location for awhile but last week went to the Georgetown location to get an oil change. They informed me about the stripped oil pan plug and that I would need to replace the oil pan to make sure there is no further damage to the vehicle. They also said this location should do it since the last oil change was with them. I have called corporate several times (no answer)! The location has no manager but this guy Joe said he reached out to the district manager is unable to give me a phone number and asked me to wait.when he came to relay the message he told me I had to wait 3-5 days to get an update about my claim. Talked us into a coolant flush, lied about an odor of dead fish coming from the reservoir. Broke a coolant pipe connector and refused to pay to repair it or reimburse us for the estimate. Both times I have went here they put my oil filter back in loose. Two different workers. First time I assumed the guy was just trained improperly, so when I came a couple months later for my oil change I informed the guy that last time I had gotten my oil changed with them that they put my filter in loose and oil kept on leaking. I asked them to make sure it didn't happen again. Low and behold once I leave, I get home go to use my car later, and it is leaking excess amounts of oil. I've taken multiple cars to multiple Take 5 locations. I tried this location for the first time and after they were done I paid and started pulling out and instantly my cars 'Low Oil Pressure' light came on. Oddly that's never come on. I pulled back in and told they guy and they shrugged it off and said it will go off. A couple weeks later it was still on and the car had been running harder. Took it to another shop and they said there is no oil and no leak. They hadn't put enough oil or any at all to the point it was empty. I had a 20$off coupon still ended up paying 125$. I made a appointment Monday to get a car inspection done at 6 and when I got there they told me there wasn't anyone to do my inspection. Today I made an appointment for 5:30 for the same thing and I also called to make sure someone will be there. I talked to 3 customer service representatives today through out the day just to check so I don't drive all that way for them to say the same thing. The representatives kept calling but they weren't answering. By the end of the day I just decided I will just go somewhere else but it's actually absurd how hard it is to get in touch with anyone. We got our oil changed here in July of 2020 and now we come back to get it done again and the small super unprofessional girl named Shelly was rude and told us that they don't do Mini Coopers because they are too easy to break. We waited to speak to the manager and she brought us in and explained that she took this store over and was ready to take care of us. While we are waiting the same girl said she did not know how to perform an oil change on a Mini Cooper. The manager was going to personally do the oil change herself but they did not have the right filter. While we were waiting there the same girl told a guy that was her friend that came to see her that she would slap him. All this in front of customers. Pulled in for an oil change Saturday(4/30) a little after 5pm but no-one ever came out. There was a truck parked in the back and another vehicle. I pulled up and sat there being that all the signs instruct you to stay in your car.I even heard the little bell when I drove over the line. They were apologetic, of course, but in the meantime I sat in my car on a hot sunny day and spent almost an hour at the 5-minute oil change. After waiting 30 minutes to even get in and 10 minutes after pulling in and then under the hood they didn't have my filter. After driving I noticed my car smelled like oil. When I got to another place to get my oil changed they told me that the cap had been left off and my hood as well as my engine etc was covered in oil. The prices are reasonable and fair IF you use a coupon which you can get online and texted or emailed to you even while you wait for the oil change. It's been three times since then and they offered me half off my filter which is fine since I needed a new one anyway.
