Fast service, friendly employees, no waiting, this is the first time going here, we would go here again.

I came to Mobil 1 for an emission inspection. There was no wait time and the mechanic immediately told me to pull up my car. There were two men outside, one was a mechanic and the other was offering to wash my car after. They were very welcoming and inviting. I came with my dog hoping that she wouldn't be a problem. They were very welcoming of her as well and even invited us to sit inside. Inside there is a barber shop! The price for my emission test was $15. At the end of my service, the mechanic gave me recommendations for my car. I did not get any extra services since I was in a rush, but I appreciated that they took the time to check on my car more apart from the emission test. I have been coming to Mobil 1 since before I could drive, and my parents have always really liked this spot. I'm happy to see the service is still as great as when I was a kid. read more

This is a great neighborhood business with a great team. The lobby has a barbershop which is a cool operation and a heck of a mashup.

My husband just got home and said the oil change was $170... I've never in my life heard of that price for an oil change. For reference I pulled out the last 4 receipts from oil changes I've had and the highest is $135. Go to jiffy lube or anywhere else. This isn't something that needs to be charged more for expertise. That's just gauging read more

Great customer service and I was in and out faster than anywhere else I have gotten my car serviced at.

I came in with an electrical problem that two other mechanics couldn't figure out and Damion and Raoul found the problem and fixed it right away! They were both friendly and helpful and I won't go anywhere else from now on. read more

I've been going to this place for years now. The staff is friendly & keeps me informed of regular maintenance needed & what will be coming up in my next visit. I love that there is a barbershop in there too. read more

Damion and his crew are the BEST always get me in and done quickly and professionally! Thanks so much!

I've been coming here for about five years and live this place. They just change your oil or inspect your car without pressuring you for an up sell. Yes, they will offer, but you won't get scammed here. And there's an old school barber shop inside of you want a haircut. read more

Came in today for a car inspection. There were two cars in front of me for an inspection, and I was out of there in about 30 minutes. The gentlemen that helped me today were courteous and not at all pushy about further maintenance that will need to be done on my car. There was even a barbershop inside the waiting area. The barber worked on several kiddos and had them giggling the whole time. Cold AC in the waiting area, friendly workers, and a barber. What more could you ask for? read more

Came in for a motorcycle state inspection prior to getting my bike titled in Texas. Damion, (who I later found out was the owner) was there to help me right away. He had me do a quick drive and equipment test, and got me all squared away on the inspection in only about 15 minutes. And only cost me $7. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. As I was leaving I asked if there was an air tire filling station nearby, and he said to just pull it around front. He had his employee use their equipment to top off both of my tires before I left. Truly great service!! I'd recommend this place. read more

Walked in 40 minutes before closing time. Was told that they were already closing and that I'd have to come back tomorrow. On top of that, I was also told "We been open all day..." as if I was to blame for not coming in earlier. Because of this horrible customer service, I will never be back. read more

Everyone is super nice and tells it to ya straight. They don't pressure fixes, they do inspections, and you can also get your hair cut inside! Excellent services and nearby to me. read more

I was in need of an inspection/emissions test as well as an oil change for my '91 Miata and decided to stop here. It's not in the best part of town, but I am a native and know not to fear the intersection of Loyola and Manor. I am quite glad I stopped, because they were well priced, efficient, fast, and very nice. The technician was very friendly as well as thorough and they were working on my car within 10 minutes of dropping in. They even have a barber shop inside in case you need your ears lowered while your chassis is raised. The clientele was a cross-section of Austin's ethnic groups, and they made everyone feel welcome. I'm definitely going here for all my oil changes / minor servicing needs for my car, regardless of what part of town I live in. read more

Went for state inspection. Was told there were 2 cars in front of me and the wait would be 20 minutes. I waited an hour and 20 minutes before they got to me. They completed my inspection, said it failed because the check engine light was on, charged me $18.50 and told me I could bring it back within 15 days and they would repeat the inspection for free. Now I'm at the car dealership and was told by the service associate that the check engine light was the first thing Mobil 1 should have looked for. He couldn't believe they didn't notice it and tell me I'd have to get that taken care of before they could complete the inspection. He said the fact that they charged me and wasted my time was "rude" and "shady". I don't know whether I was taken advantage of or if the guys at Mobil 1 just weren't paying attention. I won't be back reguardless. Thanks for nothing Mobil 1 at Manor and Loyola. read more

I haven't had many experiences as pleasant as the experiences I've had at this Mobil 1. They are obviously very knowledgeable, but don't try to pressure you into anything. They just try to inform you and let you call the shots. That sort of service in the automotive industry is unheard of, at least in my personal experience. They were also extremely friendly to my family- especially my young son. read more

Got an inspection and an oil change in 20 minutes. Appreciate the efficiency and the reasonable prices.

if you are desparate and want to be ripped off go to this shady lube shop its all piss poor services . brake flush is a joke suck out brake fluid in reservoir and charge $85.00 what about the fluid in the lines and calipers the owner is fleecing the community with these bullshit services and laughing all the way to the bank. do yourself a favor and go to a real lube shop with honest employees and owners take it from someone who has been in the business for 20 years what the crew is doing is dishonest boycott this clip joint and go where you get what you paid for read more

Mobil 1 Lube Express - car wash and barber shop is ran outstanding but lube shop is a den of crooks - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Austin, Texas

Great service, competitive pricing, and every Mobile 1 oil you can imagine. They made me feel welcome and at home. You can even get a haircut while you wait. I'll be back. read more

The guys that work here are super friendly. I stopped going here because each time I get my oil changed, there's a laundry list of things my car needs..... they make feel like my car will fall apart if I don't spend the extra 300-400 for things they recommend read more

These dudes suck. They took forever to check my tire on a reinspection. I woman came in while I was waiting, they rushed in to help her. It took 5 mins for the original inspection and over an hour for them to check my tire. read more

These guys do a darn good job! I just happened to drop in. Very thorough and fair. Excellent customer service! Brandon is great! Appreciate their work. I will be back. read more

Got here at 12 and waited till 115 to get my car serviced. It waited in the Bay Area for at least 45 mins. The service was super slow and no convenient at all. I went way over on my lunch and will not be coming back to this location. **** That is not true I was never given a time for completion and I never once talked to them about Walmart more less y'all to anyone else. There was one other person in the waiting room with me and he left shortly after I got in to the room. I will be contacting my attorney regarding defamation. Also I would love to see this footage as it's been well over 6-months. read more

Every time I get a service there me and my wallet are pleased. I went to get my coolant flush and a new air filter on my explorer. The price that was quoted for the same service at the dealership I got it done here for 25% cheaper. I also received some good advice on what services I should do and at what time by Damon. Being that it is very close to where I live, I was able to walk home for a minute and come back in time for it to be picked up. Brandel took care of everything that I requested to be done. I will be back to take care of some more things that need to be service in my car. Support your neighborhood businesses. The is also a car wash connected to the service station. If you want a cheaper car detail clean, see Doc's detail. read more

Just got an oil change from this place with in 20 minutes of dropping my car off. The staff is so nice and very friendly. They even have a barber so you can get your hair cut while you wait. Definitely recommend read more

Service was fine, but my wife dropped off and they doubled the price at pick up and tried to upsell over the phone. We wanted to support a neighborhood business, but over $100 for an oil change is too much, especially when the dealership charges about half for the same service. read more

Pros: I had my oil change done extremely quickly. That was awesome! The owner was very nice & personable. He advised me of the need to change the brake & power steering fluids. Cons: The price. I paid @ $35.00 more for the exact same service I receive by my usual mechanic (San Marcos). read more

Got my inspection done. It had been a while, so they recommended a few things. Not surprising. Prompt and friendly service. The guy who cleaned my car did an amazing job too. Nice folks. read more

These guys know their stuff and the prices are fair, no pressure sales on the services my truck needs. Getting my inspection here as well!

This place is so shady and the workers tried to con me. Once I went in for an oil change and when I got in my car I noticed a piece of plastic on my car. When I ask the guys who worked on my car what it was they say "oh it's nothing" and tossed it in the trash. Seconds later I went to put the receipt in my glove box and when I opened it, it fell off. Turns out that piece was to my glove box. It was out because they took it out when they went to take my air filter out be they wanted to charge me for new ones along with other items I did not need. Another visit I went just to get my car inspected. I figured they couldn't mess that up. Well here's where they tried to con me. As I pulled up the service man immediately told me I would fail because of that tint on my car. I explained to him that it was from mother's windows tint and there was no way that would put illegal tint on a car. He pulled out something to measure it and said it was over. He then told me if I pay him $50 he would over look it. I asked what if something else was wrong? He said he would just have to see and I could pay extra for that. Well I decided to get another opinion on it and went to another shop down the street. When I told them I wanted my car inspected and that the shop I just left said I had illegal tint. The service man said let me check before we start the inspection, he checked it and said there was nothing wrong with it. I have never been back and never will. read more

I really really really like the Mobil Brand. I wish we had more of these in town. Great prices for the best oil out there.

These guys rock and they couldn't have been nicer! I took my 2012 Chevy Traverse to get the oil changed. They informed me that all of my oil changes needed to use Dexos 1 or it would void my warranty. Jiffy Lube would have never done that. I highly recommend this business and will return myself. read more

First time doing an inspection in Texas, and they went above and beyond to help me pass. They referred me to a mechanic for a potential electrical issue, but then went the extra mile to double check the lightbulb to ensure that wasn't the issue. He saw the light come on and passed me. Super helpful and courteous. It won't be so bad to come back for the next inspection! read more

Disappointed. I really wanted it to be a place I liked and everyone was friendly enough, but I expected more based on reviews. I needed an oil change and an inspection and went on a Friday afternoon so I wasn't expecting it to be quick.. took about an hour and a half which is fine. I did get recommended a lot of other services and he stated they were very overdue which was news to me because I bought the car used but it was a lease previously and everything was up to date the last time I took it in for an oil change. He again was friendly and did not push me when I said please give me the list but nothing extra today. I tried to use the coupon on yelp and he wanted me to go interrupt the owner who was working with another customer. It made me feel like an inconvenience so I just left it and didn't get the discount. The maintenance minder in my car didn't get reset. Really hope they actually put the expensive oil in there that I paid for.. read more

Got two cars inspected and one oil change in less than an hour. Great quality service quickly. We will be back!

My grandmother had taking her 2 year old Nissan Altima with about 30,000 miles here for a state inspection. After the inspection the my grandmother was told her car needed a brake flush, power steering flush, radiator flush, fuel injector flush, and a air filter. They went on to say if you don't get these services you cold be putting you car at risk. Needless to say my 73 year old grandmother didn't want to put her car that she's drives about 6,000 miles a year at risk. So her $32 inspection ended up costing her over $300. It's a shame that the younger generation staff/management at Mobil 1 lube is taking advantage of the people who live in the community for 70+ years. read more
