At my appointment, the check-in process was simple and efficient. I only waited about five minutes before being called back. Dr. Lehrer was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He explained the procedure clearly, answered all my questions, and was able to perform the excision right then and there. The procedure was quick and painless. Afterward, he gave clear instructions on the healing process, and the nurse provided ointment and written care instructions. I also asked about preventative care for sunspots, and Dr. Lehrer kindly prescribed Tretinoin and even offered to adjust the dosage if needed--such thoughtful care! It's been almost two weeks, and everything is healing beautifully. I'm so glad I chose Summit View Dermatology. Their pricing is fair, they truly care about their patients, and they are very welcoming to cash patients. After seeking a second opinion, the diagnosis was determined not to be malignant. Second, I experienced billing issues. I uploaded all requested information through the patient portal after reviewing the website, which indicated that my insurance company was accepted but did not clearly disclose which specific plans were covered. The office confirmed that my insurance was accepted, collected my copay, and provided treatment. I later received an unexpected bill. When I contacted Advanced Derm Billing they quoted the claim had been denied. However, after verifying the claim with my insurance,I learned Advanced Dermatology had been paid long before they wanted another large payment! I don't recommend this company based on my bad experience with Scottsdale location and the billing department.

We were taken back to the treatment room on time & the nurse did the series of pretty painless injections with little to no bruising. RN injector seemed slightly flustered but was still professional & did a nice job. My friend has been quite happy with the results & plans to return for more stuff. Too bad it's quite a drive from Tucson, but still totally worth it. No problems redeeming or scheduling & it made for a fun gift. Will be sure to buy some treatments for me next time!

Additionally, I have been unable to reach anyone by phone to address this issue. I will reverse the charge and report to Groupon. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and I would advise others to proceed with caution.

During my consultation, I was encouraged to try Jeuveau instead because it was on sale. I explained that I had previously tried Jeuveau for nearly a year at another med spa and did not love the longevity or the results, but I was still encouraged to move forward with it. I contacted the spa because I was already noticing movement returning in my face in the first 4-6 weeks and was disappointed with the results, especially after spending nearly $500. I returned because I was still unhappy with the results and wanted to achieve the outcome I originally came in for. At that visit, I was charged another $450+ to finally receive Dysport. There was no real accommodation offered other than being told it was "new client pricing." At this point, I have spent close to $900 in less than four months trying to get the results I was expecting from my initial visit. What is most frustrating is that I specifically communicated my concerns about Jeuveau upfront based on my previous experience, yet I still feel like my concerns were not taken seriously and absolutely ripped off. I also received a follow-up call from a manager after expressing my disappointment. Unfortunately, the conversation left me feeling dismissed. I was told that results vary from person to person and that there would be no reimbursement or resolution. The conversation also focused on the fact that I did not come in at the two-week follow-up, but there was no issue at two weeks -- the movement and concerns developed afterward. I understand that results can vary with injectables, but I expected better communication, customer service, and accountability when a treatment was recommended despite my expressed concerns. After spending nearly $900 and feeling like my concerns were more focused on generating another charge rather than ensuring I was satisfied with my results, I will not be returning.
