We first tried to drop by on Day 1, but the place was so crowded that we couldn't get a table. We made sure to book a reservation and returned for lunch the next day. The ambience here is amazing, and the service was top-notch. Our server was great and took the time to explain the menu details to us. We ordered a bunch of different items, and everything tasted pretty good. The paella was definitely the absolute highlight of the meal! While I wish the vegetables had been roasted just a bit more, the rice itself was extremely flavorful. The sautéed mushrooms and Brussels sprouts were another massive highlight--they are an absolute must-try from the menu. We loved them so much that we actually placed a repeat order for them during our meal! Overall, we had a fantastic time here. Definitely visit this spot when you are in the city!

There's plenty of tables and a long bar with ample seats. The service has been mostly good. The wine list is ample and the cocktail selection is massive. I haven't had a bad drink here. This most recent time, I ordered the 45 minute paella. I don't mind waiting with a glass of wine or cocktail for something that's a treat like paella. Sadly, when it came out it was disappointing. The seafood was cooked well but a little underseasoned. The rice was very bland. I'd chalk it up to someone having a bad night, but this is the second time I ordered the paella and was disappointed. Sad to say, there are enough better restaurants in Mac that I don't think I'll rush back here on my next trip to the area.

My 8oz prime rib was cooked just right, delivered with an inspiring side salad who's ingredients trumped any side salad I've ever had - olives, diced tomatoes, green onions on top of a decent helping of lettuce and topped with a couple of thick-sliced cucumbes - and a baked potato the size of a softball. Yum. Shucker's is most definitely a local's hangout and has been a constant in Lincoln City seemingly forever. I hope it's still here the next time we come through!

The cons: my server, the food was ok, being ignored by staff for 5 plus minutes. Breakfast: coffees were good. The food tasted ok, but the hash browns had an old oil taste that lingered way too long. Both of us didn't feel great the rest of the day. Server was there to do her job. Dinner: specialty drink was amazing. Clam chowder had a too think paste taste. Steak bites were good, yet nothing I would be craving to eat again. The cheesecake- delicious! Server, again just there to do her job. No personality. She forgot part of my order and I had to remind her. (She did the same thing with the other table) Morning coffee bar: it opens an hour before the restaurant. stood there for 5 plus minutes, one person filling water pitchers for the soon to be open restaurant that said hi, but that's it. No, let me find someone for you. They will be right back.... There were sugar packet wrappers so I know someone did get a coffee.... I watched a girl get dropped off for work out front, then when she came up with her jacket still on she stopped and asked if I needed help. Super nice, made my coffee.... It was super confusing and if it wasn't for that employee coming in who knows if I ever would have gotten my morning coffee.

Breakfast…read morewas good (best item was the scone) and the breakfast staff were accommodating about providing us breakfast to go the following day as we needed to leave by 8am to catch a flight. The fact that they don't serve breakfast till 8am at the hotel is a different issue. Dinner started off badly as they did not set aside tables for reservations and ended up seating a table before us without a reservation at a table by the coveted window seats. The Clams were good, and so was the Cioppino, but the salads were very mediocre. The cookies for dessert were a bit underdone and too sweet for my tastes. And for the price point, I had much higher expectations. They had live music on the night we were dining there. And usually I would find that to be a nice touch, but it was too loud and echoed in the vaulted ceiling space. The hotel was very nice, and would benefit from a better restaurant experience.
