This spa is still alive thanks to him showing this DIY'er how to use a specialized wrench on the leaky joint without breaking it. Yes, he actually taught me what to do- and we even practiced on some scrap pipe at the store. Unfortunately, after our spa was delivered it had a manufacturing defect ( not the fault of Summit). Summit immediately sent its service folks out and made a number of attempts to remedy the problem. When it could not be remedied, Summit picked up the defective spa and replaced it with a brand new spa. We bought local in 2015 and were able to get exactly what we wanted when we could not get the same in PHX or TUC. Great service on delivery and installation. We have always had a great experience when needing chemicals, filters or other things. Recently Feb 2022 we needed to problem solve a pump that was not working. Jeff spent a long time on the phone walking me through options until we got it fixed. He could have easily scheduled a repair appointment and charged for all the work he walked me through on the phone. I bought my hot tub elsewhere second hand, but that has absolutely no bearing on the outstanding the customer service. When I needed to get a new top, I knew the brand of mine, but not the model. By describing it in terms of seats, seating layout, etc, they easily found the model. If I need help understanding chemical use or anything else spa-wise, this is the place to go. They are always friendly, incredibly helpful, and the prices are fantastic (usually beating Amazon!). This is the model of what it means to be locally owned and operated. I purchased a new spa about 3 months ago from Summit. From my first phone call, I received great service. I had hoped to have my current tub repaired, but it became obvious it was no longer viable. Jeff and team found the perfect spa for my current needs, hauled away the old dinosaur, and did this all within about a week and a half! We hired Summit in October 2019 to help us maintain the jacuzzi at our Airbnb rental in Munds Park. I bought a new house which had a hottub. I had no previous hottub experience, and when I cracked it open it smelled and looked disgusting. I was thinking I'd need expensive repair and service just to make it function well again. Unfortunately, I don't think the previous owners cleaned it too often! I went to summit and Michael sat down with me and gave me a crash course in hottub maintenance. He didn't try to upsell me, and he spent way more time than he needed to helping me understand the cleaning process and how I needed to care for the tub. He gave me the confidence that I could handle the spa issue myself. He was extremely kind to me the spa noob, and showed really great customer service! I bought a bunch of supplies, went home, followed his instructions to the letter, and not my new spa is looking great and ready for use! I also didn't have to spend a fortune on servicing it. Way over priced, the staff is not very friendly, and if you want to return something, they give you a hard time. They charge you a re-stocking fee, and if you ask them questions, they try to answer to the best of their ability, but, you would think they would know the product, and how to use it.
