Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

He has a genuine passion for old buildings and pushed to preserve original details that another contractor would have torn out without a second thought. And when issues came up after the job was done -- after the final check had been cashed -- Jacob, Ken, and the owner Sage came back and made it right. That's not nothing. That's actually rare. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

I think they did a pretty good job replicating what had existed before, although the work seemed a little sloppy. I saw a few gaps in the framing, but they were able to seal it up with bondo. Also on one of the posts there was a large crack in the wood, but that was sealed as well. For the price, I think this was a pretty good value. Would definitely recommend for smaller jobs like mine.

We had two leaks in our roof indicated by large spots of peeling paint in two locations. We got 4 bids. All recommended a total roof replacement given that our roof was 35 years old. In the end, we went with Summit because we liked the attitude of Nathan and most importantly he said he'd throw in the repair of the ceiling (we imagined we'd have to totally repaint two rooms but Nathan assured us his guys could match the color and do a local patch). I have the impression that if we'd gone with the lowest bid we might have saved 5% or so but comparisons are hard. We were very pleased with the work that was done and the attitude of Nathan and of his workers. On the repair of the peeling paint areas, I was skeptical of Nathan's claim that they'd match colors and we would not be able to tell there was repair done but his master painter came through. Nathan R and his team did an amazing job on our home. Having had some frustrating, disappointing and very costly experiences with remodeling in the past, we put off remodeling our master bedroom and bath...for years. I shopped around and ended going with Summit Remodeling. Firstly I have to say they were always on top of everything and super communicative. Summit came by with 2 wonderful project Managers showed us some pictures and samples of exactly what we needed done. They provided a 3-D design for our front And Backyard. They were referred to me by a friend who had her roofing done by them. What impressed her the most was the extra-mile they took to make her happy. Surprisingly, one of the biggest challenges during my numerous interviews, was finding a company who actually knew how to install heated flooring underneath travertine tiles. So I was pleased to learn that Alpha One Construction is experienced in this. It was an extensive project that took 2 months to complete. If you've ever watched HGTV, you'll learn that with any construction projects, obstacles are bound to surface. Nothing ever goes 100% as anticipated. Key, however, is how the company goes about to resolve these issues. I can genuinely say, Alpha One Construction went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will give one illustration of how Alpha One Construction went above their call of duty. In an effort to reduce my expenses, I opted to paint my existing kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them. Unfortunately, the brackets that were initially installed prior to my moving in were cheap quality. A year after my renovation was complete, a couple of these cheaper brackets broke. Alpha One Construction sent out a couple of their workers, who not only replaced the broken brackets, but proactively changed out all of the cheap quality brackets with the sturdier ones I purchased, in an effort to ensure that this does not happen again. This act alone is why I'm loyal to them. They take pride in their work and that's important. There are "love them and leave them" companies who will ignore you should a problem surface once they collect the final payment. Then there is Alpha One Construction who knows that reputation is everything. This is why I will refer anyone who is considering renovation work on their homes to them. I trust that they have their client's best interest at heart.
