Being very meticulous and particular, I spent 2 months interviewing multiple companies before deciding to go with Alpha One Construction. They were referred to me by a friend who had her roofing done by them. What impressed her the most was the extra-mile they took to make her happy. Surprisingly, one of the biggest challenges during my numerous interviews, was finding a company who actually knew how to install heated flooring underneath travertine tiles. So I was pleased to learn that Alpha One Construction is experienced in this. It was an extensive project that took 2 months to complete. If you've ever watched HGTV, you'll learn that with any construction projects, obstacles are bound to surface. Nothing ever goes 100% as anticipated. Key, however, is how the company goes about to resolve these issues. I can genuinely say, Alpha One Construction went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will give one illustration of how Alpha One Construction went above their call of duty. In an effort to reduce my expenses, I opted to paint my existing kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them. Unfortunately, the brackets that were initially installed prior to my moving in were cheap quality. A year after my renovation was complete, a couple of these cheaper brackets broke. Alpha One Construction sent out a couple of their workers, who not only replaced the broken brackets, but proactively changed out all of the cheap quality brackets with the sturdier ones I purchased, in an effort to ensure that this does not happen again. This act alone is why I'm loyal to them. They take pride in their work and that's important. There are "love them and leave them" companies who will ignore you should a problem surface once they collect the final payment. Then there is Alpha One Construction who knows that reputation is everything. This is why I will refer anyone who is considering renovation work on their homes to them. I trust that they have their client's best interest at heart. read more

Gal,Love, and Oscar were awesome! I will most definitely rehire for our next project. Alpha One listened to EVERY concern we had! We were informed of every step of the process. I didn't end up working with Alpha One but wanted to leave a nice review anyway because the process of getting a quote from them was very positive. Their sales pitch was very professional and the scope of work they gave me was well thought out, the warranty they offered was very nice, and the price was fair as well. They never pressured me to sign anything and were confident that their professionalism and quality of work would persuade me to choose them. Their office also followed up a few times (politely, not in a pushy way) to check if I was still interested. I ultimately went with another company solely based on timing of the job, but I still think of Alpha One from time to time. read more

Alpha One Construction was one of our first contractors we ever hired for our house and they ended up doing far more for us than we initially reached out to them for. Initially we only wanted a new roof. When we were trying to get a roof permit, we found out that part of our house was actually unpermitted thanks to the previous owners, thus blocking all future permits. I really appreciate that the company actually pushed for us to resolve the permit issue and get a permit, great to know that they aren't afraid about inspections. Sean and team were able to solve the permit issue and hire the necessary people to push it through. We actually ended up doing a whole new roof, new insulation, and new gutters through AOC. Sean was easy to communicate through text throughout the project and was able to provide estimates and updates quickly. Workers were professional and tidy and our house looks and feels great. read more

Alpha one did construction for me by adding solar panels, as well as earthquake, remediation, and foundation work. Excellent workers, excellent price. I would use them again for any general construction that I need. Always answering the phone when I call or text. A pleasure to work with these people. I was introduced to them because they did work on a neighbor's house. I was so pleased with the work they did on my house that I referred them to my sister who also had major work done and she was also pleased with them. I recommend them highly. read more

I had a roof that needed replacing and had received a few quotes from different companies that ranged from surprisingly high to suspiciously low. Alpha One provided me a quote that was reasonable and affordable, as well as different options for payment plans. Conducting business with the company was very convenient and reassuring. Oscar (who I worked with) was very responsive to my concerns and needs. This built a trusting relationship which encouraged me to trust them with also installing new gutters and replacing the insulation in my attic. In the end, I am very happy with the completed work. They honored their quote and their timeline. Even after I later noticed a minor issue with the completed work, they were very responsive to fixing the issue at no cost. I highly recommend them and am considering hiring them again for future services. read more

I had my roof replaced by Alpha One and they made it very easy for me through the whole process. From the rep, to the owner, to the rest of the team, they were always very responsive and helpful. From the permit, to the dumpster, to the inspections and approvals, Alpha One took care of everything, so I didn't have to. They definitely ease the stress on all of that. My rep - Benjamin, never left me in the dark and always responded quickly if I had a question. From start to finish, I was always up to date on the progress. The speed that they worked to get my roof done was amazing. For my house with a detached garage basically one day to demo and once an inspection was done and the materials were ready, another day to prep and lay the roof - and that was it! And they did it in just in time, as there was pretty significant rainfall the next day. Benjamin said he was mindful of the upcoming weather, so they targeted getting done by a certain day, and they did it. And the results look great. read more

EXCELLENT!!!! EXCELLENT!!!! EXCELLENT!!!!!! I cannot say enough great things about Gal Edry and Alpha One Construction Inc. If it wasn't for Gal stepping in, my neighbor's house would have remained in a dilapidated state, causing stress for everyone involved. Gal went above and beyond to advocate for my neighbor, ensuring the work order was approved and immediately getting his best team on the job. The roof repair was done with precision, speed, and outstanding craftsmanship. His team worked miracles, completing the project in record time and just in time for the holidays. Oscar came over to do a consultation and he was very helpful and very thorough. He came in to help assess the roof and was very good about reaching out before he arrived and showed us pictures of damage in places that he climbed up into that we couldn't see. He was very knowledgeable and explained the different materials, styles, and practices of roofing. And he even called his boss to talk as a group about what would be the best course of action for us in the short and the long run. I can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and that's why they've been so successful for so long. read more

Alpha One Construction Inc. - The roof damage before the repairs - General Contractors Near Me - Los Angeles, California

first, the job start day was delayed a day so i had to take an extra day off work. then, i was overpriced on the job request (one room roof panels change). Got other quotes about the job completed after and they agreed. They didn't complete the job due to safety and i understood that but had to argue with contractor on lowering the price due to incomplete. it was not completed according to what the quote included in the contract. They still wanted to charge me the same price. very unprofessional. The contractor showed not much care about the customer but just about the money. The workers that did the job by the way were respectful and provided clear expectations. read more

We had a free estimate from Oscar, who was very professional and provided a lot of insight.

I have now used Alpha Construction twice--once for a leaking flat roof and again to repair the water damage, paint, and replace some flooring. Oscar remained in constant contact and helped me through the nightmare that is city permitting. They are great, and I highly recommend them. read more

Tal was quick to come out and give us an estimate. Only problem was we couldn't start the work because it wouldn't stop raining this year! He recommended a white three layer roofing for energy efficiency and because we have a semi flat roof. We kept in touch about the weather and finally were able to start the work, which took about 3-4 weeks. Tal made sure to have it all done as soon as possible and was always quick to answer questions and concerns. Ended up looking great. read more

I purchased a home four years ago and had many projects that needed updating. The original electrical panel needed to be upgraded, so I opted to rewire the entire house to bring it up to the current codes, then I had them paint the entire inside to cover over the electrical work. The house was cold, so I added insulation in the attic and crawl space. This led to retrofitting the house. Then I had the house painted with cool paint and added a cool roof plus before adding solar panels. I also had work done to the landscape. I had a different crew for each project, but they were all professional and cleaned up any mess that was made during the work before leaving for the day. Now for 2024, I have a few projects to do. read more

I live in Palmdale Ca and a couple months ago we had an all day rain ,affair which started my ceiling to leaking. I went on Yelp and messaged three companies for consultations and quotes. They were supposed to call me when they were on the way, but they just arrived. Then the person that came didn't really explain anything Luckily, I already knew about roofs, and I pretty much told him what I knew so he wouldn't rip me off I only called this place because they were supposed to get free estimates but he proceeded to tell me it was going to be $500 for an estimate I kept getting follow-ups from the actual company even though the guy who came to my door claimed he was the owner of the company which I have a hard time believing He called me about a week later following up to see if I wanted to follow through with the project which I did not, and I wanted to confirm that it was going to be 500 for an estimate which he said yes . I said OK I did not want to continue as I'm still seeking out other estimates and he said have a great day. Very generic and recommend. read more

The office people of Alpha One were very responsive from the beginning, setting up an appointment for me with a representative, and then sending a reminder when that rep. would be at my house. The rep showed up and did not have a business card on him when I asked. He looked over the project and explained what he basically planned to do. I explained that we were going to make a decision within 5 days, and that we would need a written proposal in order to make our decision. He assured me that I would receive his estimate in plenty of time. I called a couple of days later and was told that he was still working on the written estimate, but he gave me a verbal price estimate. Apparently he did not understand that we needed the written estimate in advance of our decision. The verbal price was beyond our budget. We did not hire this company. read more
