You can tell she loves the fish and wants them to do well with whoever they go home with. I was mostly focused on getting some fancy goldfish. Orandas, Ranchu, Ryukins, some of the more extreme body shapes. She had plenty and I purchased 4. It's been 2 months of beautiful & happy fish. I worked in the aquarium & fish business 30 years back for most of my 20's. I had always wanted a shop of my own. But the overhead cost of caring for, feeding and housing before you ever sell a fish make this a difficult business to survive in. But, its the only way to assure your selling healthy fish. So, when I find a shop like this, I support that shop, and I spend my money there. So, the shops like this, that sell the happy healthy fish, and give you the info needed to keep them that way, are able to continue to do so for years.

My wife and I have been amateur Aquarist for years with Koi ponds and Freshwater aquariums. We were cycling another aquarium for Cychlids and went to Keepin It Reef, best decision we have made in years. In the end Reisa asked if we really wanted Cychlids, because our desire and discussion was really better suited for a change to Saltwater. Reisa and Joel patiently walked us through the pros and cons and that afternoon we had drained our aquarium and we were cycling Saltwater. We visited several times for free water checks and to pick their brains as we "patiently " waited for the tank to cycle. Well today is my wife's birthday and we visited again with hopes that our tank had cycled to a point where it was safe to introduce the first fish. Reisa, Joel and Alexa confirmed that the tank was there and we are so excited to welcome our first pair of Clownfish. If you are looking for a well stocked store with a knowledgeable team that have the patience of a Kindergarten teacher, but the expertise of a professor...then look no more. Unfortunately I trusted the advice given to me by Jacob and I purchased a flower horn blue polar parrot hybrid juvenile. When I got home and did some more research I realized how unfit my tank is for this type of fish. It has already began eating the fins off of my long fin Cory's and it is also going after the Khuli loaches. I now have to rush around and try to find a different home for this fish. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend going here unless you know what you are looking for and you know not to take their advice cause they are only trying to sell you fish you don't need can't provide for.
