Brooke was very honest about assessing what she could do to help me, even if I did not end up choosing to get extensions from her. She was so kind and took the time to sit and answer all of the questions I had. I did switch to hidden bead extensions with Brooke, and I am so glad I did. The quality of the extensions, and the fact that I know my actual hair is being taken care of and not damaged, is amazing. I also have been getting lash extensions with Becca for 7 months or so and have never been happier with them. Her work is flawless, and my lashes look better than they ever have. With previous lashes I've had done, my lashes would be looking pretty rough by the time I went in for a fill - but now they will practically look brand new by the time I go on for my next fill. On top of this, the salon has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and is always extremely clean every time I have been. Highly recommend!

I usually bring my own polish and tools (just because I like to) which was cool with her. She even cleaned my tools when she was done which was nice. My feet look and feel great. This was my first but not my last visit to Atlas. The pedicure room is quiet and private and I loved the comfortable pedicure chairs. The salon is clean and it is stocked with lots of fun merchandise too. I left with a few new things.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would! Be cautious! Personal Images salon has changed hands…read morerecently (Nirvana). I made an appointment online with a stylist for a very simple highlight around the face (7- ish foils) and all over color in the back to match my roots. The stylist looked very young when I arrived but I was trusting her as we all know that looks can be deceiving so I thought she might be older than she looked? Things were starting to get pretty sketchy right from the get-go. Instead of typical foils with the "weaving" process, she just slapped bleach on all my hair within each foil around the face. I was getting more and more nervous so I started asking her about her background. Turned out she was 18 years old and had only worked at the salon for 3 months! Long story short, she destroyed my hair! The hair in front is completely and solidly bleached with a definitive line going from ear to ear over my head. The back of my hair is almost black and, in no way, matches the grown-out roots. Looks like fake, black hair on a doll. I will say that she "attempted" to correct it but made it worse. In fact, it is so bad that even my family & friends looked at me and said, "ummm, hey... what's with the hair?!?!" Complete embarrassment! Personal Images "was" such a upscale salon that had very talented stylists. Changing the name of the salon and hiring 18-year-old's who have extremely limited experience is maddening! The worst part was when I walked out, visibly not happy, and this inexperienced gal charged me $135!! Then I thought back... while I was sitting in her chair for 3 hours she was bragging about buying a brand new car! She also told me that she has zero passion in being in the cosmetology industry, she's just doing it for the money for now. I asked her about her hair cutting skills and she said she "only knew how to cut three different styles". So glad I was not scheduled for a haircut with this girl! I know the salon works on a tier system based on skill. A person with that skill level (close to none) should NOT be charging clients $135! And also these new stylists should be having a consulting mentor working with them all the time or job shadowing to gain skill and experience. I wish I would have walked out and not paid a dime! This isn't my first issue with Nirvana. Earlier in the spring I was talked into going to a gal who "specialized" in curly hair. I waited 6 weeks to get into her. Two days before my appointment a reminder text came through showing a completely different name as my stylist! I called the salon and asked them why I got changed to a different person? They said that the previous stylist decided to retire so they "worked all the clients into other available stylists schedules". Well geez, thanks for letting me know two days before my appointment that some random person was going to work on my hair! Needless to say I canceled that appointment immediately! I should have known back then to steer clear! But I gave them another chance and that was also an epic fail! I hope these new owners can turn some of this stuff around. It just is not good business! Clients that walk out severely unhappy does not make the salon look favorable! Word of mouth is huge in a small town. Good luck!
