I flew in from California for my wedding reception and had made an appointment for hair and makeup…read morefor me and my mother. I was recommended to the salon by a couple of friends and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, seated, and asked if we would like anything to drink. Their customer service is on point! Throughout the process of getting our hair and makeup down the stylist kept great conversations and there wasn't any awkwardness. Aja was my stylist for the day and put in some hair extensions that I brought to give me some more volume, she did amazing! She also did my makeup and it lasted throughout the entire night, even through some tears of joy. My mother had concerns of the makeup since she is an older lady and didn't want to amplify her wrinkles. Courtney did an amazing job with accentuating her beauty and making my mother feel like a queen.

When I got home the second time, my hair still uneven on the sides. $60 later and I'll be paying someone else to fix my hair... 2 strikes, you're out! Save your money!

(By the way, the brochure is still currently displayed in the spa, so if the prices are outdated, then print up a new pamphlet.) After my services there, which were nice, I was charged separately for each service I received instead of the package deal that is advertised on the back of the pamphlet. I ended up paying $219, instead of the $158 that was advertised. Upon asking the manager about this situation, she said that the packages listed on the back of the brochure are only "suggestions". I said, if that were the case, why do you print a price for those services? If you are just offering "suggestions" there shouldn't be any price listed next to the suggested package. The manager had no answer for this, but I proceeded to tell her that that was very misleading and unethical. She has since not returned my calls. I guess this is an expensive lesson. I would go elsewhere. * Q write a review skin deep day spa jack

There was already two other cars waiting and another that pulled up after me. About 10 minutes later the employees got there and unlocked the place. Signed in and waited about an hour as the two employees finished up the other ladies ahead of me. Reasonable for it being busy with only two workers. Nails were kinda messy, and the guy had a lot of trouble getting the acrylic nail tips to stay on my fingers which has never happened at other places (they should get some better glue). Paid $40 not counting tip for shellac acrylic nails. IF I came back here, I would try scheduling an appointment beforehand and at a less busy time. I'll probably try a different salon next time.
