Awful. Writing this review while at this establishment. We requested and paid for a pet room. We were put in a room on the ground floor near an exit - great, except you can't use the exit. You have to walk a quarter mile back to the lobby to let your dog out through the lobby in the middle of the night (or anytime your dog needs walked). This makes absolutely no sense. We arrived for our stay on a Sunday night. Just a couple of cars in the lot. Entered, rang the bell, greeted by one guy from the restaurant who told us someone would be out to check us in in 2 or 3 minutes. Someone came pretty quickly but it took him sooo long to tap tap tap on 2 different computers to get us checked in. Took 10 minutes to get our key, which was presented in dirty, previously used envelope with other numbers scribbled out. We were very thankful there wasn't a line at checkin. Oddly enough, after going to our truck to get our things and reentering, the desk clerk was scurrying down the hall in front of us, keyed into a room briefly, then came back down the hall toward us. We realized he had gone into our room then exited. Not sure why, but unsettling. Again, this is a dead Sunday night and we made the reservation 3 days ago... For $170 on a Sunday night ($129, plus pet fee $25 plus tax) we feel scammed paying this amount for this rundown place. The hotel is in need of lots of TLC. The bathroom sink hot water doesn't work. We're still waiting for the room to warm up. My husband shoved the bath mat and a towel in the big gap that the taped up, makeshift window/floor A/C unit going out the window creates. Take away - if you don't need to stay at the summit, don't stay here. It's gross, unkempt, and unloved. Edit - it's morning and our room never got warm. The heat doesn't work. Invited to an event to color the mountain for my stylist's birthday. First time in this area. The inn was hidden behind snow. The check in was a breeze after getting our payment. The inn is pet friendly with rooms on the first floor. I found that strange since the hallway only has one exit and we were at the end. The room was spacious but the bed was not comfortable. My fur-pet deserved a better room. There was pet hair all over the room and my guy doesn't shred. All pets aren't the same! All pet owners aren't the same! Having certain rooms set aside should depend on the size and breed of the animal. Over all it was an experience and a lesson on how to plan lodging if we return. read more

Absolutely horrific, dangerous stay here over the weekend. A water line burst above our room on the second floor putting guests at risk. The ceiling of our bathroom caved in. Our things were damaged. Us and about 10 other guest rooms were affected. None of us were contacted by the hotel, and all guests were made aware of danger by other guests and finally the fire department. There was no refund or return stay offered by the hotel, and hotel staff has still not reached out regaurding this awful experience. The owner argued with the fire department wasting time that could have been spent shutting the water off and mitigating danger and damages. We were almost trapped on the second floor with flooding water by the faulty fire suppression door. We were not allowed to utilize the common areas in front of the fire place as it was not allowed by staff. And everything was EXTREMELY dirty but especially the hot tub. DO NOT STAY HERE. You will have a safer, better time sleeping in your car. read more

We were traveling to eastern Washington and needed a resting spot for the night. I found this hotel midway online and my husband called about military discount for a king bed one night stay. We were quoted 129.00. When we arrived that evening the desk clerk would not honor our quote and then proceeded to "upgrade" us to a king suite for 169.00!! Boasting of the large smart tv and that other rooms did not have a tv. We were tired and just wanted a room to sleep but ended up agreeing since there were no other motels near by. The previous reviews had be a little wary for our visit.... Besides check-in, the stay was great! There had been some scheduling miscommunication... so we didn't have the right booking when we showed up for check-in. While the front desk gals moved slow... it all worked out in the end! The rooms are very bare bones, but clean. They have the classic fridge/microwave and bathroom situation. The only thing that wasn't in great repair was one of our bathroom door knobs. If you're looking for a simple, no frills hotel, this is perfect. Plus, its proximity to all the fun is truly unbeatable! read more

I made a reservation based on Google results thinking this was the location in Cloudcroft New Mexico (see attached photo) but it turned out that the "Official Site" is for the Washington location. It was also not explicit on the site that this was a non-refundable reservation; I only learned this once I got confirmation. We should have looked on Yelp before we booked. This place is definitely not worth the price we paid. The bathtub had a ring of dirt in it that we could rub off with our finger, so it wasn't a stain but rather just poor cleaning. The hair dryer didn't work. And when I pulled my towel off the towel rod after taking a shower, the rod and support fell off the wall. The support barely missed my toes as I stood in the shower. I reported the dirtiness of the tub and the hair dryer to the front desk, and the guy said he'd send someone to attend to both, but no one came. I would have more expected some of this if we were paying $100 less, although we've seen better even at lower prices. I guess they have you over a barrel since there isn't much other lodging that we know of at Snoqualmie Summit. read more

Don't stay here ! I stayed here about a month ago. My gf was cold so she turned the heater on. The room we stayed in didn't have a working heater so we asked for a change. They moved us to another room just to find out the heater also wasn't working properly . When we're then moved to another room and that room's heater was worse than the 2nd one. I was tired of complaining so just dealt with it. We requested some type of compensation and got nothing. We haven't gotten any email response back. So I'm telling you go pay for an air bnb or anything else before staying here . I forgot to mention there was an active leak in one of the rooms just coming down . This place is in need of a serious remodel. Felt like the lodge from Hot Tub Time Machine, everything is pretty worn out. Rib off , called to make a reservation I and talked to Sam at the front desk not sure who he is but he indicated that I did not need to make a reservation and he would give me a senior discount of 10 % and after that he said he would give me a 12% discount. We showed up and he was not there as he indicated he would be and we were told that he couldn't give us a discount by an elderly lady at the front desk. Not great, the place has the potential to be fantastic but in the desperate need of renovation. The plug-ins in the room were so lose they wouldn't hold a cord. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling, the carpet was stained. The room was stuffing and Beyond hot. The front staff was dis interested and annoyed. After reading all reviews here, I was so worried about my trip to Snoqualmie Pass with my family. I know the yelp reviews for hotels are usually negatively biased. just wanted to share my experience. The hotel room was enough clean and well prepared. Maybe not exceptional level, but it's at least average that I'd expect for this star-level hotel. Heater made a bit noise on "high" mode. Microwave and refrigerator worked well. TV was fine, we could use hdmi port with no issue. Beds (I slept in two queen beds room) were ok. The staff I talked when checking in wasn't super kind, but not rude. She didn't have smile on her face, but checking-in took ~5mins, no complains. I didn't use spa, restaurant, so no comment about them. read more

Let's start out with the location. The location is perfect for snow sports enthusiasts who want to be on the slopes multiple days, but that is part of the problem. NOBODY should stay here. They are price gouging because they are the only hotel at the top of the mountain. The overall lack of cleanliness and care this building has been given is DISGUSTING. Things we ran in to on our one night stay: Dirty/yellow stained towels, leaks in the ceiling, heaters not working, and what looked like pubic hairs in the shower. The worst part about it is we swapped rooms 3 times and they were equally as bad! Highly recommend going elsewhere or doing an Airbnb. The only reason there is remotely any business here is because of the locations proximity to The Summit at Snoqualmie. Not sure that there are even other hotels up there that aren't AirBNB. Price gauging for sure - $200 a room for one night at the peak snowboarding/skiing season only to spend the night in a cold room - no working heaters, shower and wipe off in stain covered towels, and leaking ceilings. Priced like this at the expense of customers you'd hope they at least renovate something. The hot tub is disgusting a grimy at that too. Our party's room was changed 3 times and it was still incredibly dissatisfactory. However the only thing we shared in common was finding loose hairs in the shower. Please do better! This is not a 2 star hotel. Maybe stay in north bend or elsewhere and drive here. read more

Its an older property in need of a facelift but, it was pleasant enough. We spent the weekend in a queen room and took the kids tubing down the street. Anu checked us in and was cool. The Pancake Restaurant is following Covid protocol and is only open for take out. They serve good portions. It was sold out, very busy. Tons of snow outside. I had a snow shovel in the SUV and used it to dig out my vehicle in the morning. Oh, my dog enjoyed the place too. Pet friendly. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give them negative stars I would! Most importantly they have no operable fire alarm or fire suppression system! And were not doing a fire watch as instructed by firefighters. Let me sum up our stay... Not only did we find a cockroach, yes an actual cockroach (I didn't know we even had them in Washington) and there was mold on the celling. They also put everyones safety at risk by silencing the fire alarm at 2:00am, multiple rooms flooded, the ceilings caved in, fire doors fell off the hinges, people were literally climbing out of windows to escape their rooms flooding, the hot tub is gross and the roof integrity is questionable. While pandemonium was happening the front desk person just stood there at the desk not even investigating what was happening and then had an attitude with the firefighters when they were being scolded all while refusing to give refunds to anyone. They offered ZERO compensation or refunds to us or anyone else involved and in fact were rude and condescending to us when we demanded our money back. There was no water remediation service on site the next day instead they had a vaccum and some towels, the manager didn't show up until noon and was rude and argumentative. I suspect they have no intention of actually properly dealing with the water damage or inoperable fire system. I will be contacting the state attorney general office. This place should be shut down. read more

I was so worried after reading other reviews but we actually had a great stay here. It is an older hotel but it all depends on what your needs are. For us, it was about location and price. Not to mention convenience of what the surrounding area has to offer. Summit pancake house was right next door. Gas station, coffee stand, grocery store, pizza, brewery, restaurants are all walking distance. It's located right across the snoqualmie summit so depending where you need to go you can just walk or have a short drive. Staff was great at night. I can't remember his name but he was nice, friendly and helpful. They were out of rollaway beds and we were still a bit cold in the room so he gave us extra blankets and a small space heater. The room is decent if just needing a place to rest. It's nothing fancy and clearly needs a lot of work done but it served its purpose for what we were there for. There was a hole in the bathroom and the screen for the window was out and leaning on the wall when we got in but not a big deal to us. If you're expecting super comfortable beds and fluffy pillows this is not the place for you. Like I said price and location is what was important to us for this trip. They also give military discount which is really nice. $107 for one night is very reasonable considering we wanted to stay super close to the summit. We asked the night staff the price if we decided to extend stay which he said would be the same price as long as we let them know before 11 am check out. Went down to extend before 11 and it was a lady who said it was $170 if we stayed. She wasn't very nice and ended up giving us the same price we were quoted considering the online price was $119 so she was really trying to over charge us. Just beware of that. Also ask for the second floor room. The view is amazing! read more

They gave us a plunger! Upon our arrival it took 40 minutes to check in with 2 people in front of us. Our room was disgusting, there were holes and stains throughout our room. Even our towels were worn out. But to top it off our toilet was clogged upon arrival and overflowed all throughout our bathroom. My boyfriend went to talk to the front desk to let them know and come back with towels and a plunger!!! Not only did we clean it up ourselves but we weren't even offered a new room! The good: rooms are always clean; great location if you want to stay on the Pass - so many opportunities for outdoor activities, etc. The bad: very rundown; no A/C in some rooms; hot tub not working when we were there and no sign/anything to tell you so a bummer to get into your suit, etc. and go down to find out it isn't working; a bit pricey for what you're getting - except for the fact that the location is great so perhaps it's worth the price? read more

It was clean and the room was relatively comfortable but really hot and the little air conditioner wasn't up to it. The whole hotel is definitely in need of an update, pretty tired. We took our family up to spend the weekend Sledding in the snow for our daughter's birthday. We reserved 4 rooms. We arrived on Friday afternoon and by 11 o'clock that night at the hotel had ran out of propane and we were woken up by knock on the door telling us that we could stay and they would give us blankets to keep warm or we could leave now for a full refund. It's the middle of the night, the pass was closed! Why would we get our family up and leave at this hour of the night? We had asked to the front desk lady that morning when was the propane going to arrive? She was very rude and just kept telling us we're waiting and it should be here by noon. We had planned to take the family to breakfast at the restaurant connected to the hotel that morning. However, the restaurant was closed because there was no propane. We decided to make the best of it because we had spent all the money on the sledding tickets and the propane arrived at 1:30 that afternoon. I called the following week to complain and ask for a full rain and forth that night only. Only to get the runaround and I was told that they had to do everything by law to provide us with the safe environment. At the end of the day we got a 20% discount on each room. Which basically covered the hotel fees. I called and spoke with the manager and asked her to talk with the owners about a full refund and I never heard back from them. I just put in a complaint to the attorney general. As for the rooms, they were clean and the hotel is old smelling and also smelled like marijuana , The only good thing about it is the location is great, there's a gas station with store next to it. read more

I rarely write reviews. I had to write this one. Their website describes the hotel as "premium lodging." Not even close. The pictures are an innaccurate depiction of the rooms. The hotel is run down and hasn't been renovated ever. Our room was filthy. Stains on the sheets, on the floor. Pillows are lifeless lumps that look 30 years old. Same with the lumpy lopsided mattress. The bed was so nasty that we didn't stay. I left at 9pm at night to find a clean hotel. I payed for 2 nights which I never even used because the place was so gross. I do not regret leaving, even after wasting the payment. Do not stay here! read more

We are truly living our best life in 2019 here. Hot tub is down but no mention of that when we made reservations. The fire alarm has been going off for about 10 mins now and when I let the front desk lady know about it she went outside and smoked a cigarette. We booked through Priceline before checking yelp reviews (oops). Most of the prior reviews make this place seem like a rat infested hell hole. We slightly panicked after the other reviews and were able to change our reservation to just one night ($99 cancellation vs. $129 for one night stay). Since we were expecting something from a horror film we were pleasantly surprised at arrival. I posted a few photos since there weren't any on here yet. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Although dimly lit with outdated decor, everything we experienced looks and smells clean. The beds are firm but not rock-hard - they weren't high quality but comfortable enough that we slept well (maybe we got lucky). The TV isn't a flat screen but works fine. The area has 3-5 Verizon LTE bars, and there's decent wifi. There's a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is basic but clean enough, and super hot water with good pressure. Also, a portable A/C unit which is better than nothing. This is a ski town - if you realize that you're not going to be super disappointed. If you want luxury this defiantly is NOT your place, and honestly it's even a tad pricey for what it is. Considering there's also not a lot of options in the area, and it's your typical ski town, this place was fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here but I would defiantly stay again if need be. Bring your favorite candle to make it homey, a Bluetooth speaker for some music, your favorite foods to munch on, and you will be able to relax and enjoy the stay. read more

I can't even give this place one star. Worst place I've ever had to stay in my life. I'm in construction workin far from home on pass and decided to stay a night. Never again. Everything has stains on it and outside my door is a dumpster catching water as it drips down from the ceiling. The tiles have hair in food in them. The carpet siding around the room is falling apart. Freaking hairs and stains everywhere. Ac does not work instead they put a Walmart fan in the room with freaking stains on it! How do you get stains on a freaking fan. And there are boogers or food on the walls that could be cleaned but over looked for some reason. I could go on this is just the top of the list stuff guys. The room we were given was freezing. Heater wasn't working in there. When we pulled down the sheets, there was a hair and small mark on the fitted sheet. They provided a different room. In both rooms the upholstered chairs had holes and stains (see pic). They have shampoo but no conditioner. Housekeeper tried coming in our room without knocking at 9 am when we were there. The fitted sheet kept popping off the mattress. When I asked for another pillow, the man working behind desk gave me a pillow without a pillowcase!! When I questioned him about the pillow he became very rude to me!! This place was pretty empty and now we know why. read more

Looking for a last minute getaway for my wife, two daughters and I, I decided on the Summit Inn. Unfortunately I failed to check the Yelp reviews first. The lady who took our reservation over the phone was great, as was the lady who checked us in. We checked in around 6pm and got settled in. By around 8:30 or 9pm, I used the bathroom for the first time and immediately noticed the stench of urine. Upon further notice I found dried urine all over the TOP of the toilet lid as well as the toilet rim itself. Due to the dark color of the tile, I wasn't able to tell if anything was also lurking on the floor. Needless to say, we were overly disturbed; but didn't want to bother with switching rooms, etc. since we were already settled in for the evening. I figured we could settle it the next morning when checking out. When checking out, the dude didn't ask how our stay was...he may have been tired of getting answers he didn't want to hear. After handing me the receipt he asked if there was anything else he could do fo me. I said, "Yeah...please tell your housekeepers to start cleaning your toilets. The bathroom reeked like stale pee and there were urine stains all over the place". While NEVER looking at me (multitasking I guess), he simply managed to let out a ho-hum "Oh...that's not very good"...while continuing to multitask and jot on his paper. I turned around and walked out, to which he then thanked me for staying...the only response I could muster was a slight sarcastic chuckle. If the guy would have slightly offered some type of acceptance of responsibility, then i may have given 2-3 stars. This is a tourist location...I would have expected better hospitality and cleanliness from a second world country than what I received at the Summit Inn. Never again...save your $150 folks. Our stay here was a horrifying experience. The staff was rude and curt, and couldn't have cared less that there was no hot water/heat working throughout the entire place. Their response was "uh, yeah we have problems with that." with no apologies or explanations. We didn't mind the antiquated feel of the place, but jfc, there were brown stains EVERYWHERE-- even on the sheets/pillows/towels?! I was so uncomfortable, and was terrified to sleep in the beds. They reeked of a suspicious smell, and was so musty. I wish we chose to sleep in the car instead. Would have had better rest and comfort. read more

The only reason we stayed here is because it's the only hotel within walking distance to the slopes. It's outdated (old decor, bed spreads, box TV) and not very welcoming. Incredibly rude and violates state and federal disability laws regarding service dog access. I was on the website, with my information typed in and prepared to book for an upcoming geocaching event this month. Called to confirm that I was seeing the best rate online and to confirm their service dog policy. The very rude female clerk informed me that my reservation would depend on whether or not a "pet room" was available. I restated that he's a service dog, not a pet, and before I'd even finished my statement she cut me off and, more rudely than before, informed me that "it doesn't matter." When I asked if she had such a room available, she very curtly said, "I'm with a customer, you'll have to call me back in ten minutes." I asked if it would be easier for her to call me when she's free and she angrily replied, "No, you can call me back!" She then hung up on me. No, I won't be calling you back, nor will I ever stay with you. I will, however, be reporting your violation of state and federal disability laws. read more

I am not surprised at all to see all the low reviews for this hotel, we were extremely dissatisfied with our stay. We rented 3 rooms 3 nights for our family while we were crewing my sisters 100 mile run in the area. Then, they ran out of hot water because they did not keep an eye on the propane tank, and we had to move hotels so my sister could shower after 33 straight hours of running. The hotel staff was very rude when we were trying to get a timeline on when the hot water would return, and didn't seem to think it was a big deal to have a hotel without hot water. Aside from the hot water issue, the hotel was not nice. TOTALLY misleading. Online it says they have a pool, they do not. They don't mention anywhere that there is no air conditioning (also a key detail for a hotel). The beds are nothing but springs. The decor is outdated by multiple decades, and they do not even do basic upkeep like washing the windows. On another note, the hotel is one of the only in the direct area and is frequented in the summer by PCT hikers. For a tired PCT hiker without transportation and looking for a bed and a shower, this would probably meet your needs. Cle Elum has a nice selection of inexpensive lodging and is not far away, we headed to Econo Lodge when we left Summit Inn and were very happy. read more

Not sure why this place gets a bad rap. You know what you signed up for when you made the reservation. I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night and both were pleasant. Very close to the ski resorts, Dru Bru, and many other attractions. The hotel rooms most definitely reek of smoke and there are a cast of characters staying there. It is what it is. read more
