This is a destination place even if your not a biker. I love looking at the bikes and especially the clothing line. We have Harley's so this is our hang out. The building is very attractive and they have a restaurant called Marleys you can get some great sliders. read more

They didn't have my boot size in stock but called me as soon as they came in the lady held on to my pair for me until I could come to purchase them I've had these boots for a few months and they're the most comfortable pair I've had as of yet. This is a very friendly and very well presented dealership. One of the better ones I have been to, however I have only visited the retail section so far and can't really speak to the service or sales departments, however since I have recently moved into the area and I own a Harley I'll certainly be here again and will update my review when I do. However I can say that in talking with the staff they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and from what I have seen so far I would recommend them. Plus their building is really cool and has a great burger joint in it which I will be taking about in a separate review. read more

This is one of the premier Harley shops in Utah. It starts with the great location and the ambiance of the old Geneva Steal building that's been made j to the dealership. They have a restaurant there. You can sit and eat and watch the mechanics work on the bikes. Their selections of clothing apparel is excellent. The mechanics are knowledgeable and the sales staff is friendly. I rank this dealership as one you'll want to visit and use. Stay away from the salt lake and sandy dealerships because they are not as competitive. read more

Riding from SoCal to Stugis SD, my Streetglide suffered a front fork seal blowout. The service department was very accommodating, getting the repair done the same day. However, when the front end was reassembled the front fender was not adjusted properly which cause significant damage to front tire and fender. I had to have a second Mechanic readjust the front fender before catastrophic failure to front tire. I have made several attempts to discuss my concerns with the service department with no success. End result, service department claims no fault and will no longer discuss further. read more

I'm glad someone already provided a glowing review of the facility -- saves me the trouble of saying much more than "ditto" -- it really is stunning! This place is worth a stop, even if only for sightseeing and a bite to eat. But I'm really here to thank the service department for living up to the legend and expectation of a good bike shop. It's easy to have a 3500 mile road trip ruined by an untimely need for service (or a new tire), but these folks respected the needs of keeping wanderers wandering, and they got us in and out in time to outrun a thunderstorm! And for all of that I am grateful to Kyle "Killer" Kelsey and Bert Dutcher at the desk, and to the technicians on the service floor. That's a ways from home and it may be awhile before I'm back through there, but I wish them much success in the interim. read more

I sent in a tank to get repainted and was told that it would take about 3 weeks. It's now been a month and I was just informed after calling AGAIN that it's going to be maybe another week. Customer service is below average over there. When I came in with my tank they just stared at me like what are you even doing here. I basically had to ask... "sooo are you going to take down my information... or...." and they were like "oh.. ya right okay come over here". Guys don't know how to talk with customers I just want my tank back to sell my sporty and buy a triumph ha. Byeeeee. read more

I am new to the area and needed service on my starting motor. They picked up my bike for free. During the repair they discovered a couple of other issues, let me know about them and I gave the go ahead to fix them also. I was extremely pleased with the service. I have an older '94 Heritage Softtail and not all shops will service older bikes. The service department is very friendly and does a great job. read more

I had found a helmet on line, went into my local Harley store, they did not have it but told me that Timpanogos had the helmet in stock, I asked if they would call them and was told NO but you can. I called the Timpanogos store and they shipped the helmet same day. I will not go back to my local Harley store, I will make the 90 mile drive to Lindon. Saddleback Harley needs some customer service lessons. read more

Place looks great - I had a terrible rental experience.. Rented a new 2016 Road king (I have rented from Timp Harley for the last four years for the annual ride with family and friends) - they let the bike go out the door without inspecting, less than 1 day into the ride I was stranded in Driggs Idaho with the front bearing totally shot. I called the rental shop and was given an 800 number to call. When I tried the number it said 'this number is not available from your calling area'.. I called back to the rental shop and they got ahold of the 'help line' and had them call me (glad it was during store hours or I would have been out of luck). The help line called for a tow truck and got pricing, then AN HOUR LATER they called the tow company back and sent them out (evidently pricing the tow while I sat stranded with 12 other riders). I was towed to Idaho Falls Harley where they rented me a bike (that was cleaner) so I could continue my ride, because of the delay we couldn't make it to out hotel that night (which was less than 24 hr notice for cancellation so we were charged).. Anyway - terrible experience and when I finally returned the bike to Timp Harley - they charged me the full amount - complaining about the rental they covered from Idaho falls - not even an apology.. I was out over 1k in hotel charges- not to mention the 12 other riders that had to cut the trip in half because of the detour to Idaho falls - then back to pick it up.. I understand 'stuff' happens but for people that claim to be passionate about riding - I expected more. read more

To me Timp Harley just fits the Harley brand. I've been to a few Harley shops around and I would have to say Timp Harley is the best at representing Harley Davidson. This place is not just a typical retail shop (like others), it is a destination. While I'm a local to Timp Harley I would imagine that this the type of place corporate HD would like to have more of throughout the US. Just think, when you're out on a long (or short) ride, would you rather meet your fellow riders at a small, feels like every other place bike shop out there or do you want to continue to feel like you're a part of something, a part of HD and experience what a true bike shop is. Of course this is my review, from my point of view, but I would hope there are more HD shops out there like this that really represents Harley Davidson. Oh and if you're just looking for a retail shop, Timp Harley is huge and has more section in one shop than 2-3 other store do combined so it works out for all walks (insert 'and rides') in life. One piece of advice as I usually like to give at least one recommendation to the place I'm reviewing. Continue to treat your customers like they are gold and not just "do you a favor" by being there. Too many shops have this feeling about them that you should bow to them. I don't feel that at Timp Harley but if you don't continue to hire and train the right people it's an easy way to start going downhill. Hopefully the road construction gets completed soon. read more

FUCK Timpanogos Harley-Davidson!!! The only reason they're getting 1 star is because I can't do zero stars. Hands down the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, absolute worst service department in the history of ever. Bought a brand new bike from them 10 years ago and have had issues with them nearly every single time I need any kind of service done with my bike. Free tires for life, sounded like a good reason to buy a bike from them. Don't be fooled, not worth it in the least bit. Typically every scheduled service is at least two weeks out, I'm fine with that they're busy ok, understandable. But 9 times out of 10, they forget something. So a service that should be done in a day, is at least 2 days or more because they forget to order something. Today was the last straw, why I have kept giving them another chance is beyond me. Had to call 6 times today just to get someone to actually answer the phone. Oh and on the 5th call they actually hit ignore. When I was finally able to talk to someone to try and schedule my next service they took my name and the service I needed, then told me they would call me back after an actual service writer looked at what needed to be done, never got a call back. I could keep going on for 6 pages of bullshit I've dealt with, but I'll spare you all. Anyone actually still reading this review, do yourself a favor, buy a bike from any other dealership, for the love of God, don't waste your money with them. read more

My current bike is a 2014 Triumph Bonneville, it is also my first bike. I am 53 and looking for a bike with a smother ride than my Bonneville because the way it takes rough patches in the road it killing my back. I don't look like a "rider," I don't dress like a "rider," nor do I want too. This past Friday, 4/23/21, I walked into the Timpanogos Harley Davidson at 5:25 pm for the first time on now this my third trip to the Salt Lake area after several hours of driving in hopes of looking at a new Road King and if they had one and in billiard red I riding home on it. I headed in ahead of my wife and daughter pasted two people, I assumed were employees, examining a bike for for repairs with a clipboard in hand. Nether one looked at me or said anything as I walked by. Once in the doors I had one thing on my mind, the rest room. I walked up to a group of three people I once again assume were employees standing directly across the room from the front doors. I wanted to ask where the rest room was. They were too busy having a personal conversation to allow me to ask a question or paus to even look at me. Later after leaving and driving away I found out my wife and daughter got the same treatment. After almost a minute of this I saw the the BIG rest room sign and proceeded to it. Once out the rest room I waked to the touring bikes and it was obvious there were no Road Kings but I still had a lot of questions. There as was an employee standing at a computer station by the bikes having a non purchase personal conversation with a "rider" so after a few minutes I waked away to have a look around the store for the first time. I pasted that same group of three people again and not a word was said to me. I kept walking through the Harley Davidson apparel area and pasted by two more employees behind the counter having a personal conversation and not a word was said to me nor did they even look at me. My wife and daughter were in the Marley's looking the menu. There was a girl working hard in the back but we decided not to order. We made our way back to the touring bikes, I waked out ahead of my wife and daughter and once again passing the two behind the counter in apparel nothing was said to me. I later found out my wife made a comment about a dog that was with them. One of the employees said, "its a shop dog," and went back to his conversation while the other employee looked at my wife like he didn't like her interrupting the peroneal conversation they had been engaged in. We passed the group of three still engaged in conversation. Once back at the touring bikes I looked at the bikes and also looked around for someone to assist me with questions. I saw another "rider" looking at the touring bikes across the room. At this point we had been in the dealership about 20 minutes and not one employee had said "welcome to Timpanogos Harley Davidson," are you finding everything ok, can I help you, what are you looking for today, introduced themselves to us, or engaged us in any positive way. If someone had even attempted to talk to me, answer some questions or engage with me who knows, he or she may have discussed the positives of one of the other bikes I may have been talked into one of them but we'll never know. At this point I was ready to walk out because this isn't the only dealership that sells bikes, so I did. I gathered my family and we headed for the door. I was about ten feet from the door and an employee was headed to the "rider" looking at the touring bikes and as he crossed our path just in front of the doors he asked "find everything ok" to which replied that question is twenty minutes too late. Harley Davidson is in trouble. Sales are falling and they are desperately looking for new riders. This isn't speculation this is a published fact. I suggest the owner of Timpanogos Harley Davidson terminate most of his staff on duty this day and find people who actually want to work, have an interest in the product they sell and an interest in keeping this store in business because it is also a fact Harley Davisson is closing dealerships and are not done yet. Sadly this wasn't the last bad experience I had with a Harley Davison dealership in the Salt Lake area this weekend. read more

My husband takes a road trip every summer with friends. Unfortunately, this year his Harley stopped running right outside Provo on a Saturday night and he had to have it towed to Timpanogos. A tech working on Sunday hooked it up to the diagnostic so they would know what the problem was first thing Monday morning. After finding out what was wrong (and finding out the part was not available), they took the part off a motorcycle on their sales floor to get the bike fixed so my husband could continue on his journey. A big thank you to Don and Terry (and their crews) for their AMAZING service!! We have never gotten service like this from any Harley dealership in WA. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! read more

Dealership was more than willing to sell us a bike, sell parts, sell clothing, however last Tuesday afternoon my husband took his bike in to have warranty work done. We were told this would take just 2 days. This is the first dealings with their service department. It has been a over a week, yesterday we were promised that our bike would be delivered to us today 9/21/2016. My husband has called 4 times and no one seems to know what the hell is going on. It is getting ridiculous that they do not return calls, they do not let us know what the issue is or give any updates. I am very frustrated and if the warranty is just through Harley we will probably take it to a different dealership in the future. read more

On my return trip from Sturgis to Los Angeles I started leaking oil from the front part of the bike, a clear thin oil all over the right side of the fuel tank. It was only a little at first but as with all leaks it grew. I thought it was a fork oil leak but wanted to get to a Dealership to confirm as I was riding across Wyoming. The first dealership I was able to get to was Timpanogos in the southern Salt lake city area. The guy from the service counter was very nice and spent all of 3 seconds checking out my leak. He proclaimed it to be gooseneck oil heating up and told me not to worry. So Sunday morning I departed for Cali. However the leak only got worse and at everystop i had to wipe the right side of the bike off and I the new owner of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle was out in the middle of nowhere with a leak on a Sunday with every dealership for 300 miles closed. I did manage to limp home after a guy on a gold wing spotted me wipeing down the tank yet again asked what was wrong, after a quick chuckle he said "you have a fork oil leak " with that he produced a large cresent wrench tightened a nut and Bam! No more leak. This however is not my "real"compliant with Timpanogos I called them this morning looking to get some customer service maybe? A sympathetic ear or maybe just some old fashion concern. Nah! The service manger couldn't wait to get off the phone with me. If he could have "acted" like he cared or expressed even the slightest empathy towards my plight I would have been ok with all of it. I didn't want a free service or a bike wash , nothing. I just wanted to be treated like a guy who had thrown down thousands of dollars on a product that Timpanogos represents. I guess I was asking too much. If I ever find myself in SLC again and have to go to the dealership, It wont be Timpanogos. I would rather push my bike to the next one than trust them with my Harley. If the guy behind the counter is any indication of what goes on in the shop , maybe he did me a favor read more

if you want to learn to ride DO NOT take the new rider course here. or if you do and you get the instructor Darren reschedule. he is inpatient with students, and basically told me I was going to die if I didn't shape up. I've been riding bikes for a long time and know the dangers a small mistake can create. he just made me more nervous and more upset. he would roll his eyes at me, and instead of trying to help me learn, all he did was put me down and feel like a failure. This service department is excellent in every way. We stopped by this dealership on the way back from a round trip run from LA to DC. We put a lot of miles on the bike and had the tire changed in Colorado. We had no appointment, but stopped in the Timp service department about noon after hearing a funny squeak. They looked at the bike immediately and saw that we had had the wrong tire put on. The squeak was a rub that happened now and then. There were phone calls, faxes, and photos sent back and forth from three dealerships to get the facts all straightened out. The service department was very involved in the whole situation instead of just leaving things to us to get it straightened out. The Colorado dealership covered the cost of the new tire and we were ready to get back on our way that afternoon. While all the employees we dealt with in the service department were especially nice, Goat was of special note for being so amazingly helpful, and Jeremy for being friendly and kind. This is the gold standard by which any Harley service department should be judged. Way to go, Timp! Thank you! read more
