The condo had a light fixture that was flickering and a toilet that flushed but needed to be held down. I asked for new toilet kit to be installed to avoid repeat small repairs that had kept happening. I am not on site at the location. I was charged $275 for what was diagnosed as needing new light bulbs and flapper adjustment. Nothing was replaced and both repairs did not work. Since then, I found out that the light switch had shorted out and the toilet needed a new flush handle and had to pay 2nd handyman plus make 1 repair myself. I called Mr. Handyman a couple of times and asked for remedy and they said they could send someone out and give me 20% discount on 2nd visit. They did not stand behind their work and they don't care that they charged me to replace 3 lightbulbs. I have the invoice to document this.

I hired Dave to run a simple tube cleanly to my drain downspout. He explicitly said he would do a…read moreproper job, but what I got was the opposite. He didn't bother to grade the tubing so water could actually flow, hacked a jagged hole into my drain and damaged it, then left like the job was done. When I pointed out that the tube was literally pointing upward--and asked if he understood how gravity works--he doubled down and insisted that all I asked was for him to stick the tube in the hole he drilled. On top of the sloppy, lazy work, Dave couldn't even provide a clear date or time for when he'd arrive. Totally disorganized, unreliable, and careless. If you want shoddy, garbage work that you'll have to fix yourself afterwards, hire him. Otherwise, stay far away.
