1/2 char broiled chicken ~$13 on 02/2025- okay, chicken is in the smaller side

Good service: very pleasant on the phone when ordering -lamb and beef yeero: good flavor -chicken yeero: very good -chicken kabob: bug juicy pieces -side of rice: parboiled, pretty basic. smaller than expected (~1cup container)z -side of lemon potatoes: less tart than other greek lemon potatoes I have had but good, same ~1cup size which seemed a bit small. -1/2 charbroiled chicken: okay flavor, chicken is quite small. When I looked at the bill I was surprised to see a "non-cash adjustment fee" aka credit card fee that was not mentioned

This spot was 10/10!! The food was delicious. I had the pastitsio and it was served with a side and a salad which was great for $19! Friends got gyro platters and wraps, again huge portions. You are spending about $15-$25 a person but it's worth it! The service was super fast, the owner/manager gave us a side of rice on the house which was super sweet. We plan for this to be a regular spot for us!

Let me start off with saying the service was great and the food came out reasonably fast. The portions for the prices are relatively fair. I got the veggie panini with Greek fries for $16.25. I don't think I'd get the veggie panini again because the veggies were mushy and the bread was soft. The soft bread and the mushy veggies weren't the best combination so I could only finish half. As for the Greek fries I think I'd skip those as well because they weren't anything special. It was literally just fries with some feta on top. Then I also ordered the mac and cheese balls for $12 and they were ginormous. You get 4 big mac and cheese balls so basically $3 a piece and I don't think that is too bad. The mac and cheese balls weren't too bad but I feel like they were missing something flavor wise. I could only finish one at dinner and took the rest home. At home I was able to doctor one up that I had for lunch to make it taste a little better and I used my own marinara sauce. So that made it a little more enjoyable. Overall I would say give it a try. I would possibly go back to try some of their other foods. Like I mentioned, I believe the prices are fair, but be advised there is a non-cash adjustment fee if you use card for example the fee for my order was $1.33.

Stopped by Summit Greek Grill while killing some time in the neighborhood before I had to head over to Newark airport. The menu is pretty massive with a good mix of American, Greek, and middle eastern food. The place was decently packed with takeout orders, but not too many people sitting inside. The interior is pretty nice with lots of space, good natural lighting, and rather clean. You order here at the front and then sit down and they'll bring you your food. I ordered two of my favorite foods - avgolemono and a gyro pita. The avgolemono was good, but I'd leave it at just good - although it's one of my favorite soups generally, I probably would try something different next time. The gyro pita was also just good - I'd say it definitely could use more sauce. It was tasty but definitely on the drier side for most gyros I've eaten. Not a bad stop at all, and clearly a popular destination for the community!

Popped in here for lunch, though they open early for breakfast, too. Counter to order and a qr code outside if you don't like the paper menus, the TV menu on the wall was too hard to read given the glare today. Guy at the cashier didn't offer much in the way of suggestions or a friendly greeting, but did upsell me to get an iced tea. Plenty of chairs and tables to sit at for lunch. Clean surfaces. Hot water if you want to get it at the counter. I've had better; the gyro was beef and lamb and underspiced; hummus similarly bland and the iced tea tasted a bit earthy and medicinal, probably just the variety they brewed with was not my taste. The Greek quesadilla special chipotle sauce was mayo based and too greasy, though a big portion. The sweet potato side was tasty but colored the mouth and lips with orange food coloring. Overall I prefer Mahmoun's taste and preparation, so despite being closer, it didn't satisfy my lamb gyro craving.

Very friendly people working at restaurant. The people behind the counter and also bringing food out were very nice. Food was very good we got the calamari, falafel to start. Then we got chicken Kabob stick and 2 meat platter. Dessert we got the baklava which was delicious. The decor and ambiance is definitely very casual, we saw a lot of take out orders. So if you do eat at the restaurant do not expect fancy.

Basically a diner with Greek food. Excellent fries, tzatziki, gyro, pita. I'd come here rather than a diner! The burger was sub par. The gyro meat was plentiful and somewhat dry but oily enough to compensate. The fries are coated and crunchy and delicious. The tzatziki makes a great dipping sauce. The 4 triangles of pita were floppy. I wish they were crispy and warm. It comes with a generous portion of lettuce and tomato. The chicken burger was thin and dry but healthy. Good fast service.

They have so much variety, big menu. I've been here for breakfast which is pretty good and have ordered take out for dinner a few times. I've ordered the garden omelet and garden breakfast wrap. For dinner I've ordered the salmon tacos which are pretty good. The tacos are served with the salmon cubes inside and lettuce, tomato and cheese is laid on top of them so it's a little messy. Once they forgot the cheese for the tacos. It's served with tzatziki which is amazing! My only criticism Is that I don't love the side dishes. A small Greek salad with iceberg lettuce, 1 slice onion and tomato is an extra $3.50 with your meal. The fruit for breakfast is hit or miss, not always fresh or ripe. Staff is very friendly. Will be back!

The review is for the salad only. The salad overall tasted very light - even after anchovies were requested to add - total 4 olives in $10 salad - I mean I won't mind to have few more olives for its value. Lots to romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce,some cucumbers and crumbled feta cheese. Veggie is fresh in general.

Normally I don't give 5 star reviews with only one visit but this eatery deserves every star due to very tasty eats and blow you away fantastic service. I was at the counter with cameras in hand when I placed my order. It took maybe 45 seconds to get the young woman at the register to take the order and pass me my coffee cup. My yummy cheese omelette was delivered to my spotless table in 4 minutes but it came with a free desert from the owner! He apologized because I had to wait so long at the register. He said he thought I was another customer with a camera who only came by to check their menu. He said he was sorry he didn't take my order immediately. Wow! People who run businesses this way need to be rewarded with loyal patronage. I will be back and I'll bring the family... Good breakfast food, very good coffee, world class customer care and service. Go, eat, enjoy, you'll thank me later.

Ordered takeout to be delivered with a bunch of friends. I got the lamb and falafel combination that came with vegetable rice, pita and salad. It was definitely more than enough for two people and the flavors were really good. The price was fantastic for the amount of food. Delivery was also very quick.

The Summit Greek Grill is one of our go-to quick dinner spots on a Friday night. We love the healthy options available and our favorite dishes are the chicken on a stick platter and chicken pita. When we aren't feeling so healthy we will enjoy their banana & Nutella crepe, which is one of my FAVORITE treats. They do a good job with the crepe! The Grill is popular with local high school kids, families, and couples. It's not unusual to see a couple with a bottle of wine. In the summer they open their large windows and you enjoy al fresco dining or can sit at the tables on the side walk. You order at the counter, receive a number and then are served at your table. Casual, quick, and with healthy options. read more

There is soo much potential here. And it's always packed. I don't get it. The food is sooo bland and very expensive. Greek salad with chicken stick (grilled chicken) was soooo terrible. Literally no flavor. The dressing tasted like oily water and it was like $25! read more

Finally tried this place. Seems pretty popular here in Summit. I had the beef and lamb platter with rice. The rice was delicious. The meat was a bit salty for me, but the veggies tasted really fresh. I wasn't the biggest fan of the pita bread and the tzatziki sauce. I have honestly had better, but that's not a total deal breaker. The food was good. I would definitely try other food on the menu. read more

Excellent breakfast/brunch spot. Great prices - $12 for a huge omelette with sides and an amazing fresh fruit salad (pic of fruit salad posted). All the food was fresh and the service was crazy quick. You order at the counter and get a number. No fuss and casual atmosphere. Great for families with kids. Not sure why there is a line out the door at the Summit Diner next door when you can get a healthier and quicker meal in this great, sunny, beautiful spot! I will definitely be back for dinner to try the Greek specialities - the menu looks great! read more

Radically pretty good. I would normally say okay, but I only ordered one menu item &; a random one at that/I haphazardly choosen such item; & I received a menu item I wouldn't normally order [a salmon burger]. Nonetheless this Salmon Burger convinced [] my taste buds to hop into that' phishy paradise. I experienced a transition from meh to damn in my mouth hole. I recommend the Summit Greek Grill. Good quality, flavorful food. I went here on a busy Thursday afternoon but my order was ready within 15 minutes. I got the Greek Grill Panini (Grilled chicken, mixed greens, roasted red peppers, bacon, feta and a chipotle aioli sauce), as an included side dish I chose the oven roasted potatoes (there is a hint of lemon). Both items were outstanding, and I would definitely get them again but I also want to try many more items on their menu! The chicken with the sauce really had a great, but not overbearing BBQ flavor. The only thing that would have made the panini better would have been if the bacon was crispier, which would probably be a challenge with a sandwich like this one. read more

Delicious! I got the Athenian wrap with beef and lamb yeero and a side of greek green beans. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the wheat wrap was pressed on the panini grill which added a nice touch. My dad got the grilled kale salad with beef and lamb yeero which he liked. My mom got the spinach pie flatbread which she wasn't a fan of. It was basically a mound of spinach topped with cheese on top of crust. Overall, great ambience and good prices! read more

Best greek food on the east coast!!!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I have been to mediterranean restaurants all over the country and the world however, this place is on the top of my list! The place is clean, the food is well priced, and the staff is super friendly! I had the Gyro plate and it was delicious! I also ate the baklav and the Nutella banana crêpe! All food was delicious! This place is a MUST try! read more

This restaurant was a very disappointing experience, considering all the positive reviews on Yelp. I stopped by for some takeout on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered hummus, a beet salad, and a falafel gyro. With the exception of the salad, everything else was completely lacking salt and spice. Whatever the food is, it isn't Greek. read more

We used to like this place food was good . But workers are very rude and disrespectful . We order take out all the time . Last time we ordered when I pick up I ask if there's tatziki included in the order . I think he is one of the owner and he said yes it's in the bag. When we get home there's none I called and the guy who answered didn't even apologized so he said I'll just refund you $2 for it . I said can you guys please double check next time. He handed the phone to someone and I heard he was telling them wtf she is lecturing me about tatziki. That's bad for business. Customers pay for your business . They should be treated with respect in regardless of what incident . It's always good customer relations to own up to your mistake and fixed the error than get upset . So we not coming back for a while . read more

Simple and delicious food with large portion sizes. I ordered the Portabello Salad with Chicken Yeero on top and it took roughly 10 minutes for them to prepare it on a busy day. The salads are atypical because the ingredients are more so in 'blocks' and not chopped up- large chunks of tomato, greens, and mushrooms. They were also generous in giving Chicken Yeero, which was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. Although the portion sizes are large, I still think that the menu is overpriced- I paid $14 for a large salad ($10 for the salad and an additional $4 for chicken). I would also recommend dining in instead of taking out because on good weather days the restaurant windows and doors are open and it looks like something worth experiencing. read more

We visited this grill for the first time after shopping at the Summit Farmers' Market close by. While the food seemed fresh, it was tasteless. The hummus tasted like ground up garbanzo beans with nothing else. Tziki tasted like straight out of the container sour cream with a couple of chopped chives. Pita was nothing tasty either. I was here to grab a quick bite with my sister in law after a long hungry day. I ordered their falafel yiro. To begin with they messed up my order but we're nice to change it as soon as I made them aware. The wrap is overstuffed with hummus and Tzatziki and hence is very soggy. Falafel feels like a reheated frozen falafel. I don't think this is an authentic Greek place. I would suggest trying something else! read more

Overall an excellent experience. Quick service, good food, and a friendly and helpful staff. I asked if they could change the TV channel so that I could watch a certain hockey game (LGR!). The worker quickly handed me the remote control so that I could find the game. How nice was that?? The menu has a great and extensive selection to satisfy many needs: low carb, healthy, proteins, and even good kids choices. The only negative is finding a parking spot in downtown Summit. Regardless, we'll definitely return! read more

I've gone here several times since it opened- for both take out and eat in. By far my favorite Salad is the Chicken Tostada Salad. It's a HUGE chopped salad with chicken on fried tostada and it also comes with pita bread. It comes with 2 dressing- ranch & oil vinegar blend - which I never use because all the flavors of the beans, corn, veggies and seasoned chicken doesn't really need anything else (IMO). It's also a great value and there's always leftovers! I also love the mac & cheese balls and have enjoyed A panini there as well. So far everything I've tried has been really good/flavorful and I look forward to trying more item from the large menu! read more

If you're around the Summit area and want Greek, this is the place to go, no questions asked. Friendly staff, super fast service, and most importantly, amazing Greek food. Whether you eat there or take it home, it's amazing. Also the portions are HUGE, so what I don't finish for dinner I eat for lunch the next day and it tastes just as good. I usually get the Greek trio because it has 3 things I love and they are all delicious. I've also gotten the gyro as you can never go wrong with a gyro, especially when it has some great tzatziki to go along with it. The yamista (stuffed peppers) are also delicious, I'm sure everything is, even the sides! read more

Man fixing salads had glove on left hand picking up salad fixings with right hand no glove on this hand he used to fix salads than picked up his cell phone looked at it and than proceeded to fix salads with hand with no glove. Eat here at your own risk he was fixing salads to take out read more

Falafel, we've had better, but it wasn't bad ,string beans were delicious. Salad had too much onions. No waiter service, very uncomfortable seating, tzatziki was off the charts fabulous. Portions are generous, but a smidgen expensive. Restaurant and bathrooms are spotless. One of the tables had calamari and it looked fabulous . read more

This is a powerhouse eatery. They use fresh ingredients and are super generous with the portions. Favorites: beef & lamb yeero plate, glazed sweet potatoes, spanakopita, moussaka, roasted beets. A real taste of Greece! We picked up an order of lemon chicken, musaka and pastichio and I must say that the food reminded me of genuine Greek food. The portions were excellent to share, the chicken was juicy, and the béchamel of the musaka and pastichio tasted incredible. We also ordered a souvlaki which unfortunately wasn't the best I've had from a Greek grill taste wise. It's also noteworthy to say that this place has EXCELLENT costumer service. There was a mistake in the order and the person we spoke to went above and beyond to make sure that we are ok and I must say that is something you don't get very often so I really appreciate it !! read more

Stopped in the other day during my lunch break to grab a quick bite and ordered a lamb "yeero". I have to say it was quiet delicious! Summit, just like most NJ towns are crowded with pizzerias and having the opportunity to eat Greek with a time constraint is wonderful. I would recommend the crepes because they're amazing! I love getting Nutella with strawberry and banana crepes, and the chicken lemon soup. Every time we drove by this place was packed. We finally went in and were pleasantly surprised to find such tasty food! I had a nice Greek salad with cheese olives and a delicious dressing. I love their salads. You get a lot of veggies and fruits, and their beef and lamb gyro is the best. This place is super popular every time I visit. You can tell from how crowded it is.
