The experience (procedure) was good, but I do think the folks there need a little bit of joy in their lives. No one was smiling and checking in and out was abrupt and not very friendly. I said good morning to the lady checking me out and all she said was "I'll be right with you and (a few seconds later) you're good to go" not in a friendly way either. Yall can do better!! Smile! You have your job because of customers. You should make them feel like VIPs every time. Just a suggestion. Maybe they were all having a rough morning. read more

I called three times to see about coming into look at glasses, already have a script. The front desk folks kept sending me back to Optical. No one ever answered. I got on their website and it reads that an appointment isn't necessary to shop. I recently had surgery, so went ahead and crutched into the store to look at glasses. The front desk informed me that this is not an option and to leave a voicemail for optical for an appointment. That the voicemail is checked twice a day. Definitely won't be back. Did call the front desk to let them know that they may want to change their website. Poor customer service. read more

Update: 6.28.24 I have given 5 stars to Summit Eye for a few reasons. Doc Young has amazing bed side manners and was more than thorough, honest and straight to the point in both educating me about cataract surgery and supplying his recommendations. The front office staff was lovely and funny. The back of the house staff are extremely thorough on my testing process and even called to retest taking extra precautions. I did not feel pressured by my Doctor or the scheduling assistant (I'm in sales and this is my pet peeve). Highly recommend. Post surgery update: both surgeries were 1000 percent successful. My experience with the surgery staff was incredible. They made me feel comfortable, educated throughout the process and I was in and out both times within exactly 2 hours (although they say plan for 3 hours). If you need this surgery, just know it's a cake walk. I'm highly claustrophobic and I made it through just fine and so can you!! read more

I've been going to them for as long as I can remember. Everyone there is so nice. Dr. Young is the best. He takes his time w/ you goes over everything thoroughly & answers all your questions. The women who take you back are the best too all so sweet. You may have to wait a little while in waiting room depending on how busy they are.
