Gerry did an A+ job teaching our class the basics of ccw today! They have a very nice and clean…read morefacility with lots of things to do. Big classroom and lots of resources for teaching. Gerry was a really nice guy and enjoyed talking, relating to us, and having a good laugh. It's an 8 hour course so it can be a bit tough I'm sure teaching people you've never met. Gerry broke down the law and safety basics in easy ways. The quiz was straightforward and the shooting time relaxed. No references to politics on either side of the aisle, so good place to just go shoot. Their rec room had a really nice, homely feel. Coffee, candy, snacks, and a variety of guns to try out. Ammo at reasonable prices. Thank you Gerry and the team for a great course!

This is a good option to have in Broomfield. They are very relaxed and open to you bringing in…read morewhatever you want to shoot or try the options they have there. I know they offer training as well but I have not tried that. The ammo is expensive so make sure to bring your own and not rely on needing to buy from them. The indoor range is LOUD so make sure to double up on the ear protection (in ear and over the ear). Luckily, I have not noticed it being too smoky or smelly in there so I think they have a really good HVAC system. The people are nice (not overly friendly, just nice) and you go there to pew pew. That is all you need to know.

Prior to Saturday, June 17th, '23, I had been to Trigger Time once with a long-standing member of the club. Even though I have shot a great number of guns there - as well as out in the wilderness - I knew that I needed formal instruction. The father & son teaching the class together were superb (Perry & Troy Morris). Both certified by the NRA, I knew that these two men were the real deal. [They also struck me as really good humans.]    The lecture portion of the course was nicely jazzed up with humor and interaction, and the Powerpoint presentation itself wasn't a snoozer like so many Power Points wind up being. These astute learning leaders maintained our attention and alertness by providing frequent breaks and interesting facts throughout the day.   Regarding the hands-on portion of the class, Troy and Perry were marvelously encouraging and provided the perfect amount of assistance & intervention.  From loading and proper grip to stance & hitting the target, the father & son team made the experience downright enjoyable. Since taking the class, my intimidation and fear in handling guns has diminished greatly and my basic pistol skills seem more solidified. That being said, I am going to recommend the Pistol Basics class - and Trigger Time, the business itself, particularly to other women.

BlueCore is my favorite range in Denver. They have a very talented staff. However, I believe I have…read moresuch a great experience with them because I was already immersed into gun culture. I have seen many reviews from beginners who claim they felt unwelcome and were even yelled at during instruction. I am a firm believer that to grow positive gun culture and safeguard our rights, we must create an environment where curiosity amongst newcomers is welcomed with respectful supervision and correction from RSOs. This relationship goes both ways between the establishment and newcomer. If you choose to explore and learn at BlueCore, know that the person instructing you is responsible for not only your safety, but the safety of others. Have some grace with them and they will have some grace with you. Safe shooting!

Lack of maintenance or reinvestment of Blucore's funds back into the target retrieval system, 2. Minimal lighting within the 100 yds range and shooters booths, 3. shooter's booth table tops are loose, need to be recovered and extremely hazardous to the shooter, 4. trip hazard on the flooring, and 5. the air purification and fresh air recycling system is deplorable and is extremely dangerous health hazard to the shooters. In conclusion, I'm having a difficult time understanding why the owners are not reinvesting funds back into BluCore Shooting Range to make this an Elite and Safe shooting environment for their customers. I hope there will be change soon at this facility.
