The owners are very attentive, which I appreciated with our small dog, however, there was one dog that was obsessed with her. She would not leave her alone and she did not get a chance to pee. The owner was great and kept trying to redirect her dog, but her dog must've still been a puppy. We pooped and got the hell out of Dodge.

There are a few areas that has covering where you can have a barbecue with tables and benches. This place also has a nice well equipped playground for children 4-10 years old. A favorite of our daughters. The fields are well maintained as well as the facilities and ample free parking, even during major events such as the Summerfest Balloon Bash. Surrounding the park there are walking and bike paths with a river nearby should you decide to try your luck at fishing. Whether, if you looking for a nice place to walk, bike, run, or have a picnic, Crown Mountain Park is always a good option.

We started with the group cause different loops some intersect but most start base loop. Some parts single track but most part all pretty wide. I love taken care of see pine tree fell over they cut it down clear the path. There even few bench saw chill and soak up nature. Busy trail runners, walkers, bikers, and groups. Two days after my dogs swam in the water at this dog park, my 15 year old girl started…read moreacting dizzy, could not walk without falling down, was vomiting and tilting her head to one side. Thankfully, the vet quickly treated her for idiopathic vestibular disease which included a steroid injection and a motion sickness med. Four days after swimming here, my 5 year old boy had a seizure (has never had one prior to this), was vomiting, and rolling around on the ground. Once again, the vet treated him within 30 minutes of this with a steroid injection (and other meds). Two healthy dogs both have a similar reaction within days of swimming at this dog park???- suspect toxic blue green algae. This has not been officially confirmed but it certainly seems probable since the only other water they had been in prior to this was Lake Monarch over a month ago. Wish there was an option for zero stars.

I spoke with the crew still putting some of the finishing touches in and they will be putting in picnic tables and such. As of this date the city still hasn't added it to their website but there is adequate parking. Enter from Haughey Rd onto Jeffcoat Dr. approx. two blocks down you will see a parking area on the right hand side. Down the slope from the parking spots is the dog park. Keep in mind there is a fine for not picking up your dogs poop!
