I hate yelp, their business practices suck donkey. But I had such a good experience I cracked open this old account to tell you about it. The person who helped us(my girlfriend and I), is amazing. He's a shooting coach, though his name escapes me. We're first time gun-buyers and he did a phenomenal job of explaining things in a way that an idiot could understand it, while not at all insulting our intelligence. He knew perfectly when to engage my girlfriend and he was able to understand in 2 seconds that we were getting the gun because I wanted it, but we were going to get the gun that she was comfortable with, and made sure to spend the right amount of time interacting with her and making sure she felt comfortable with everything he was explaining. Also, they have a pretty great selection. I came in there with 5 options I wanted to walk out with, and to my surprise they had 3 of the 5. We didn't end up going with any of them, though, because it turns out none of them were good fits for the lady-friend. 10/10. I have dealt with this business for years, buying and selling (on commission) VERY ethical, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. I needed an FFL for a CMP transfer. Called and asked some details. When I asked the person on the phone to verify the FFL number, he said (basically), "Oh, no. They have to call us to ask for that." I love this place. The shootin den is so much more friendly than the big box retail guns shops. Tracy and Laura treat you like family. I have had several repairs and trigger work done. I am an NRA basic pistol instructor and RSO. I have bought my last four guns here (a used like new wooden stock Ruger 10/20, a used like new Remington pump shotgun, a new S&W Bodyguard w/laser grip, and a new RugerLCR 357mag w/laser grip) and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great customer service and selection - great quality used guns as well. I trust them to have my online purchases sent to the Den as well for antique guns that they don't carry. I haven't purchased any guns in a while, but they are my go to store for guns and accessories. They even are kind enough to have a waiting list for the Colt Anaconda. Unfortunately, I did have to buy it online (been waiting for over a year) and it's on its way to the Den as of today. Great staff. I'm a widow who never wanted guns in her life. I have some old ones my late husband left me, but they sat in a safe for the last 14 years. I don't want to cause harm to anyone, but I don't want harm to come to me or mine. My daughter convinced me it was time to learn to defend myself. Mind you, I was in the Air Force and I did learn to shoot - a 38 pistol and a long time ago. But never had my own weapon. Came in to sell an older firearm after a phone chat earlier in the day. I explained, the firearm, and the first lady I spoke to says, "wasn't me" as she grimaced. Because it was an old firearm.
