This is a good option to have in Broomfield. They are very relaxed and open to you bringing in whatever you want to shoot or try the options they have there. I know they offer training as well but I have not tried that. The ammo is expensive so make sure to bring your own and not rely on needing to buy from them. The indoor range is LOUD so make sure to double up on the ear protection (in ear and over the ear). Luckily, I have not noticed it being too smoky or smelly in there so I think they have a really good HVAC system. The people are nice (not overly friendly, just nice) and you go there to pew pew. Came to Shoot Indoors for my first shooting experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and did not make me feel daunted or uncomfortable with the firearms. I was super relaxed going into the range. Joe was the instructor or employee on the range itself and he was super helpful. He walked me through a lot of the basics and corrected a few flaws I was making which made the experience comfortable and educational. He also helped us unjam our lever action rifle a few times. Their rental inventory is absolutely insane and my boyfriend was super stoked to see we could try a bunch of firearms before buying any ourselves. I would highly recommend coming here to shoot whether it's your first time or hundredth time. read more

Staff is professional and really knows their stuff. They watch the range and offer advice and help, and are good about safety. Must wear goggles and ear plugs. If you have your own, you can wear them. They have goggles and cheap ear plugs for sale, too, but ear plugs don't help much with the noise so definitely recommend getting really good ones elsewhere. Especially for your first time, expect to get jumpy. They offer masking tape to tape up your targets, a variety of targets to choose from, and a nifty lever to easily choose the desired distance, up to about 50 yards (eye ball estimate). Close gun range but definitely would not recommend. They rush you out of there when shooting. Some of the younger guys are cool but the old timers and the lady working there are super rude. This place is so great and the staff is extremely helpful. I went there the first time I ever shot a gun a few months ago and a staff member worked with me the entire time, showing me technique and teaching me about safety. I brought in a friend this last time who had never shot and she received the same amazing treatment and service. I would give 1 star but 2 stars helps the algorithm. Very basic indoor shooting range, nothing special about it. Half of the employees I've dealt with here are THE MOST UNPLEASANT I've ever experienced, and I've been to 7 indoor ranges. So condescending, so oafish in nature. Even when I call to ask how busy the range is at the present time, it always seems like I'm being talked down to. To the Shoot Indoors employees reading this: ask yourself if you should really be working a job where you have to INTERACT WITH PEOPLE, because your people skills are that of a KINDERGARTNER! I got the chance to shoot here a few days ago and I was very impressed. There are only a few lanes to shoot at but it's a day pass not an hourly pass. I went with my little brother and husband to brush up and we were there for a few hours. The staff was incredibly helpful and all around cool. It was nice to be able to just hang out and chat with them. I am very excited to make this my home range. The other unique aspect of this range is that they are open until 10 PM so even though I get out of work later then everyone else, I'm still able to get some practice in. We have had some good experiences at Shoot Indoors, but one in particular has stalled us going back. We took 4 adults and 2 teenage granddaughters. Perhaps I should have known better, the range was so crowded busy, the girls just simply forgot most of what they had been taught. The counter folks have always treated us well, but when I couldn't communicate over the cacophony I couldn't remind one of the girls about proper grip, a young man managed to set her straight. As I was attempting to thank him, he was being most disrespectful about me to his fellow employee until he realized I was right behind him. I thanked him anyway, but we didn't pay to be humiliated by a rude employee with no tact or understanding. No one in our family group wants to return after that display. I could get over it, but they respect me and my history and took it as unprofessional and self-serving. I wish the owners only the best and maybe the young man will learn someday. read more

This was my first time in and I had a bad experience yesterday 8/5/2021 about 1030 am at your Aurora location. The man at the counter was on his cell phone when I walked in and did not acknowledge or greet me. When he finally looked up he seemed disinterested and did not offer any assistance. I had to a tell him I wanted to shoot. He pointed to the notebook and told me to fill it out. Then when he rang me up expecting it to be $22 it was $33. I was surprised and asked why. He said it was a processing fee for first time shooters. Really, process what? He wouldn't or could't explain. So I left and went to the Firing Line where their employees are at least friendly and helpful. So bottom line you lost a customer and earned bad word of mouth advertising because of the poor customer service skills of one employee. Customer service is paramount. There are plenty of places I can spend my money. Shoot Indoors will not be one of them. 1 star for me because the review requires a rating otherwise it would haze been Zero. Great range to keep up pistol marksmanship. Close and convenient. Normally a short wait but avoid Saturday 11-4 and Sunday 12-5 ( unless the Broncos are playing!). Reasonably priced. The staff is quite knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer, they can guide you to the right place. Good ladies programs to bring women into the shooting sports. They offer gun safety classes, concealed carry classes, and Hunter safety. The owner just upgraded with a camera scoring system on lane 5 that scores you for group size, shooting speed and a score against perfect 50. You can also collect your own brass. My first visit to this location was really good. The second time, the young lady who helped us was really nice, but Buddha was rude to my son and me. He grabbed my hand because I wasn't holding my hand correctly and then yelled at my son for not leaving the pistol on the counter. Not a respectable way to treat customers. Bf and my first time at a shooting range! Everyone there is super nice whether you're an amateur or not. As long as you follow the rules and respect all the employees you'll have lots of fun. Austin especially is a great teacher. He's very supportive, funny, and most of all knowledgeable. His number one priority is to make sure everyone is safe and he knew how to calm my nerves. I was told to call 3 days beforehand to cancel my account. I called for a month before anyone answered and was informed today that they do not handle the account themselves but that I would have to deal with member services. I was billed multiple times by Shoot Indoors although they claim not to have taken any payments... Member Services did not have the correct card number and was unable to charge my account, so although Shoot Indoors got their payment(with no record that I had paid through them), I still owed Member Services for 2 months worth of fees. I was informed that even though my household was sick and there was no way for me to get this information except over the phone that there is nothing that can be done and I'm out $80 for no good reason other than bad customer service. I was told over the phone by an employee that this isn't possible because Member Services handles all payments but every time I came in I paid in person so someone it seems was just pocketing my money and profiting off of my lack of knowledge about their billing system. read more

I took the free Firearms Safety course on Monday night as well as the paid Concealed Carry course on Tuesday and Wednesday night. The instructor, Sam, is phenomenal. He is full of knowledge, highly experienced, and knows how to drive points home. The typical CCW course is 3 hours long; Sam does 6 over two nights (with live fire). I know more about firearms than I ever thought I'd know. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. The range is also fantastic, the employees are helpful, and the owner seems to love what he does. This was our first time here.I was told they only had two rules no walking around with a firearm an safety glasses an ear wear protection at all times. I paid the admission an agreed to the guidelines we began shooting I got a few shots in before I was approached by a gentleman in a red shirt. who was disrespectful the way he carried himself an his attitude was not okay. he then asked if we were shooting buck shot. I then replied no way they were simply just slugs he then replied you can go to the counter an buy some shells from the front counter or you must leave. Mind you I was only there for about 20mins after I paid they had no signs posted if there were no slugs allowed the guy in the red shirt was very rude definitely Won't be back for sure. despite the interaction I approached the counter to purchase 12 gauge shells they only had 2 in a quarter when I needed 3 inch. Bad inventory. Bad staffing. Small range as well. this place suck's definitely won't be recommending this place i wish I can get my money back. read more

Overall a good experience shooting here. They have lots of lanes but it still gets busy on the weekends. One downside was the prices, expensive bullets and fees. Also didn't provide free eye ear protection. You can buy a kit for 2.99 but the ear buds are awful. Just need to come prepared with bullets and gear and you'll be good to go. read more
