He truly went above and beyond to help us find the perfect pairs of shoes. His knowledge of the products, patience, and willingness to answer all our questions made our shopping experience exceptional. What stood out the most was his kindness and professionalism--he took the time to ensure we had everything we needed without making us feel rushed. Because of Yahir, we are now forever customers of Dick's Sporting Goods. It's clear that the company values great employees, and we are so grateful for the excellent service he provided. Thank you, Yahir--you're a rock star! And thank you, Dick's Sporting Goods, for hiring such incredible team members.

Anyway I would like to give Kudos to the excellent customer service that this particular location has extended to me and my family. when walking in you are greeted, asked what your looking for and directed to the section that may have what your looking for. After that they notify the associate in or near that dept that you are headed their way so they may assist you. On this particular occasion we were returning a bike recently purchased, as it had a manufacturer defect. Upon calling the store I explained the situation to Travis, the store Mgr and he quickly went to check stock to replace the defective product unfortunately they did not have one, so instead he offered to upgrade the bike at no cost to us and said he had a few choices my Son could pick from. Upon arriving we were met by SJ another store Mgr and informed us that he had been made aware of the situation and was expecting us, he than called back to the department associate to let them know we were on the way back to him. After my Son made his selection to our surprise SJ showed up back in the bike department to be a second set of eyes that completed the safety checklist that was performed by Moe the on duty bike tech at the time and also to make sure the transition went as smoothly at possible. I personally have not received this level of excellence in customer service for a very long time and even upon asking about a new shipment of YETI coolers SJ advised me to call the store as to check stock so I don't waste a trip. But in the end if you have any needs as far as any type of sporting goods this would be the place that I would recommend the only thing that seems to be lacking is the fishing gear which is no fault of their own blame COVID for that. But honestly even though we live closer to another location this is now my "new" home store. Definitely recommend on customer service only if that gets you in there. P.S. they also offer points for purchases and points for steps!!

My husband is a veteran, former law enforcement officer, and an employee of Cabela's. He has a…read morediagnosed case of PTSD and utilizes a trained service dog as part of his treatment and daily functioning. Despite presenting themselves as a veteran-supportive company, Cabela's corporate HR denied his request to bring his service dog to work. The reasoning given was related to "heavy equipment," however his role is in a retail environment and does not involve working around such machinery. This service dog directly supports his ability to engage with customers and perform his job safely and effectively. Rather than exploring reasonable accommodations, he was told he could either transfer to a lower-paying, stationary role or continue without the service dog. Additionally, there have been concerning comments made by management regarding individuals who rely on PTSD service dogs, which raises further questions about workplace culture and understanding of invisible disabilities. This experience does not reflect the level of support for veterans that the company promotes publicly. I hope this is addressed appropriately so that other veterans do not face similar barriers.

When my husband's favorite tent needed the elastic cord in its poles replaced, we checked online…read morewith the manufacturer. It could be done by mail shipping to and from Steamboat Springs, CO. They would check it, send an estimate and with acceptance repair and ship it back. That seemed unnecessarily complicated from a place like Boulder, home of many outdoor gear companies and repair support. We stopped in to the place we had purchased it, our REI store being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of such repairs, though they don't do any themselves. They gave us two names, Bare Boulder being the most comprehensive and a 20 minute drive away, on a prominent street in Lafayette. I called, got info from the owner, Eli, about general pricing and timing. We took the bag of poles out 3 weeks ago, the estimate in person was at the low end of general approximation on the phone. We dropped it off and was told about 3 weeks as my husband had no need to camp with for at least a month. We picked it up today, ready on time and beautifully done with even higher quality cord than original. The shop is amazing, with antique sewing machine display, thousands of sizes and colors of zippers, piles of buckles and straps. It appears he can fix such parts on almost anything, luggage, jackets, backpacks, scuba BC vests, tents handbags, tote bags, recreation gear galore. We will certainly return as we wear out more and more of our gear.

Rude, disorganized, poor quality. I dropped off a leather bag to get a strap re-attached and was…read moretold I'd get a text when it's done. A month later, the text or call never came. 5 weeks later, I picked up the bag, and was sad to see the poor, sloppy craftsmanship. They didn't even use the correct color of thread. Bag was returned with scratches that weren't there before either. Poor communication, craftsmanship and attitude.
