First off, the process they use is simple and efficient. I've never had to wait long in line to drop off my stuff, and they'll shoot you a text when it's ready for pickup. I similarly have never had to wait long to pick up my clothes. I've mostly been to Tatum Cleaners for button-up dress shirts and blazers. And once to clean a rug. The amount of time it takes them to take care of business is reasonable, and the prices are reasonable. I've never ran into any issues. That's the type of experience you look for at a dry cleaners.

By the way the pants were purchased at Walmart and cost less than $15 each. What is an environmental fee, I was charged $9.98 for that. My entire bill came to $176.37 ARE THEY CRAZY? A year ago in Illinois I paid $10 per pair of jeans to shorten the hem length. No environmental fees. I could've replaced my old kenmore sewing machine for alot less and did the work myself. Live and learn. By the way the alteration costs aren't even disclosed on their website.

I looked around the area and came across Malibu Cleaners. Thus far, I've been delighted with the experience I have had on both of my two visits to Malibu Cleaners so far. While the price is more than I paid at prior cleaners, I am more than willing to pay this price for the service that I've been offered. On my first visit to Malibu Cleaners, I had to get several shirts and pants dry cleaned. I picked everything up the next day in great condition. This was before I realized that I really didn't need everything dry-cleaned. They had Saturday hours, so I dropped off three shirts on Saturday afternoon. They are closed Sunday but two of my shirts were ready on Monday when stated. One wasn't ready until Tuesday but that was due to there being a small stain they couldn't get out without the possibility of damage to the shirt itself. I appreciated them spending an extra day trying to remove the stain. When I stopped by yesterday, I saw someone just in front of me with what looked like a dozen shirts. A second employee saw me waiting before the customer with all of the shirts and immediately stepped up to see how they could assist me. I also appreciated not having to wait long. Malibu Cleaners is considered "the Phoenix Valley's premier, full-service dry cleaner and laundry." You can learn more about them by visiting their website at https://www.malibucleans.com. They are a green cleaners and has a mission that includes providing quality and service to exceed customer expectations. They have set prices for laundered shirts, dry cleaned pants, dry cleaned suit jackets, and wash and fold service by the pound (and more on their website). They are opened weekdays from 7 AM to 6 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM, and closed on Sundays. Closed brought in are typically ready the next day after 4 PM. Upon request, if in before 9 AM, it could be ready the same day by 4 PM at no extra charge (except for Tuesdays and Fridays). She calls Markel's and they say they can fix my boots -- but one slight problem -- I was wearing them. Well, we get to the shop, walk in, and I asked how quickly my boots could be fixed, since I was wearing them. I'm told to take a seat, give the gentleman my boots, and relax for a bit. The gentleman takes my shoes back, and -- kid you not -- fixed them and gave them back within 5 minutes! Not only was I amazed as his quick turnaround, but the quality of the work was superb! I am extremely pleased with Markel's! The quality of work, the quick turnaround, and pricing can't be beat (and believe me, I've tried to find a place to fix my heels at a reasonable price). I walked out absolutely impressed, and I promised I'd bring back ALL my heels; so if you need your shoes fixed, I highly suggest you go here before I do -- 'cause they will have their work cut out for them once I drop off all my shoes! I've seen at-home dry cleaning kits, but that idea kind of confused me, so I took the old fashioned route at Rite Cleaners. At both drop off and pickup, the employees were super nice. Best of all, my pillow case smells and looks brand new. Though I try to avoid buying dry clean only clothing and items, I would not hesitate to return here for future needs.
