My pet got better care at our Vet. This IS NOT the best hospital in the area, as they claim. When I tried to get some answers regarding discharge practices and procedures, I was given the run around. When I did get through to someone and asked for a name, I was told they were not at liberty to say. When I asked why I was being forwarded to security I was told, because they Don't Like Your Questions. I got a call from the head of security who threatened to have me arrested if I called again, then hung up on me. You will be better served at another of the many hospitals in the area Coeur d Alene, Spokane Valley or Spokane. I also had 3 surgeries at Kootenai Medical and was given excellent care with all discharge practices clearly explained and followed. Good luck! ​

My first and only appointment with Ms Hall was for an annual exam. She did absolutely nothing…read moreduring the exam. Did not listen to my breathing/lungs or heart. I had to ask for the basic blood test. She did not order a mammogram, colon or bone density test. I complained of my ear plugging and she did not even look at it. I had injured my arm and found out later that she made no notes of it and wanted me to come back in merely to order an x-ray for it. It would be impossible to see what was wrong with a probable Deltoid muscle tear without an x-ray or MRI so why she refused to order one, I do not know. I guess just to get money for another useless visit. I told Whitney that I was depressed after losing my grown daughter w/young children to cancer. She immediately turned the conversation to all about her own problems without addressing any possibilities that might help me to better cope. After telling the staff manager, Margaret, that I had been told via text I would be switched to an actual doctor after reporting the poor service from Whitney, she said that they do not text and it must've been a robo response. I then sent proof with copies of the actual text messaging that I had an ongoing conversation with someone that was going to assign me to an actual doctor, which never happened. Margaret never acknowledged, apologized or helped in any way. Northwest Family Medicine is a terrible place and I would advise any and all to stay clear! Even the offices did not feel that crispy clean like one would expect from a good medical facility.

Everyone at MWOS was great from the moment we checked in. The receptionist was very friendly and discreet when it was needed. My nurse, Cathy, was awesome She took great care of me, again explaining everything she was doing and why. I needed some special assistance at one point before going in for surgery and she handled it professionally and, again, with discretion. She also took care to include my husband in all conversations as did everyone who talked to me before surgery. The nurse who took care of me in recovery was great! I think her name is Wendy. Made sure I was comfortable and coming out of it well. The nurse who wheeled me out to the car whose name I didn't catch was also very friendly and made sure I was moving correctly when getting into our Jeep. Everyone here was awesome! I highly recommend NWOS and Dr. Moss. I have not had one bad experience there with anyone and am looking forward to having my right hip done there as soon as I can.

I came for a consultation about an injury. I needed a doctors note to validate my time off request…read moreat work. The Doctor said she usually only gives those for school. I explained I needed it for my sick time request and she said to wait in the lobby. I proceeded to wait thirty minutes and had to request the two line note three times before they handed it to me. The nurse who took my vitals threw my arms around like i was a toy or something. They also ordered an xray when we already has an MRI. They also didn't offer to validate our parking but did for all other patients we witnessed checking in. I'm really confused and bewildered by the way I was treated. I also need to get a second opinion because she treated my obvious issues in the scans as non problematic. If you have a choice go somewhere else. people are just paychecks to this clinic.

Spent an hour with NP Freed, very comfortable visit, never felt pressured for time or information, just got to know me, what I needed, where I was coming from. Great folks! Lab work done immediately, results back next day, great communications from Freed and the office, and I know exactly where I stand physically! Plus it was a lot more economical than prior providers! Now I'm sold. I would have no hesitation in recommending DPC to others. Glad to be a member!

She has removed unnecessary meds and prescribed one that made a big difference in my cholesterol. She will run comprehensive blood panels annually that are very helpful in navigating changes that need to be made for better health. Her office staff is very efficient as well. Very disappointed with NW Imaging. This is a total racket. I called requesting to cash pay an…read moreMRI. They refused my request saying I have insurance and I am forced to go through insurance. I called a second time and the response was I would have to pay the full price they bill insurance. I've spoken with clients who've had similar MRI's with them, and they were cash pay. They paid WAY less than what I was billed under insurance. I got the bill, $2k. I called for a relief payment (discount for full pay). They refused saying "they're a FOR profit company." NEVER AGAIN!!! I am so incredibly tired of the machinations of the healthcare industry. I should have gone to Inland Imaging in Washington!
