I was referred to Dr. Philip Lenoue by my primary after having several different specialists…read morerecommend multiple surgeries to address and correct several tears in my acetabular labrum, a calcified IT tendon, a disc tear/bulge in my back with corresponding pain in my type 1 endplates, tendinosis of the gluteus, sclerosis of the SI joints, and bursitis that extended the full circumference of my hip. By the time I was able to get an evaluation, I was in extreme pain, my mobility was compromised to the point where I found it difficult to complete daily tasks, and I was unable to enjoy any form of passive or active exercise. After completing a very thorough evaluation under ultrasound and reviewing my medical records, Dr. Lenoue was confident that he could resolve my medical issues with three rounds of protein rich plasma (PRP) treatments. Together, we developed an aggressive but highly effective PRP treatment protocol that began providing relief within one month of the first procedure. As we concluded my third treatment, I was already feeling diminished pain across all targeted areas, my mobility was significantly improved, I was sleeping better, and I was highly optimistic about regaining my active lifestyle. Six months after my final PRP treatment, I am beyond grateful to Dr. Lenoue. All of the pain and inflammation I was experiencing 24 hours a day has been either remediated or reduced to the point where it's only a minor inconvenience. More importantly, I was able to avoid having three surgeries and a lavage as well as evade the long recovery processes of each surgery and procedure, their associated pain meds and the side effects that accompany surgeries. I still have another two months before I reach the eight-month post-treatment milestone that Dr. Lenoue states is the full recovery period, but I am confident that my issues will be completely resolved at that time. If you are searching for an exceedingly skilled doctor who specializes in multiple modalities and alternative medical procedures, I would encourage you to schedule a consultation and evaluation with Dr. Lenoue. He will take the time to listen to your concerns, evaluate your physical and medical history, collaborate with you to design a treatment plan, or direct you to another resource if your situation would not be corrected by any of his highly specialized treatments. Personally, you will find that Dr. Lenoue is compassionate, focused, prompt, engaging, responsive, and well versed in alternative treatments should you be interested in furthering your well-being. I will forever be grateful to Phillip and his team. Kimberley Seitz, Ph.D.

His treatment of people with tattoos or piercings is AWFUL!! not to mention I NEED surgery on my…read moreleft shoulder still, but after the way his staff treated me after the first surgery on my right shoulder that wont happen...below is the complaint i gave them and he still refuses to fix my left arm or apologize for his staff.........Spokane Orthopedics To whom it may concern, This letter is in regards to the biased and unfair treatment I feel that I have received from your staff and facility. It all started with the medical assistant Janelle, when I first called in to your office. I was trying to find out if my surgery date had been moved up or not. If it wasn't moved up I was going to need a refill of my pain medication. Her response, mind you in a very rude tone, was this verbatim "Usually when you get those pain meds they are to last until the surgery" I had been taking half of the prescribed dosage knowing that if I didn't I would and did run out of medication before my surgery date. At this point I knew there was going to be problems in dealing with your office. After the surgery the pain medication wasn't enough to keep me comfortable, when my wife called your office to have it adjusted she was connected with a medical assistant that said she would call back after talking with the doctor on call. When the assistant called back, she explained that they had added Dilauded and this would be the only prescription for Dilauded I would receive. She said I could take it with the Percocet which was not strong enough by itself. She said I would also get more refills of the Percocet, just not the Dilauded. When I did call the office to get a refill on the Percocet, I told Janell that I had two pain medications and I only needed the Percocet to be filled. I didn't want her thinking I was trying to get both prescriptions filled when it was only the Percocet's that were needed. At this point Janell misjudged me again and accused me of taking too much pain medication even though I had been taking less than the prescribed amount. The doctor and medical assistant who took the phone call from my wife weren't there at this time, neither was Dr. Lang who is my primary surgeon. Janell, again being extremely rude told me to stop taking the pain medication prescribed, without contacting my primary surgeon. When I did see Dr. Lang for my follow up appointment 10 days after my surgery he said I was doing just fine and apologized for what happened and then stated "We get a lot of drug addicts in here". I have anxiety issues, and started having an anxiety attack during the phone call with Janell. At no point did I use inappropriate language although when I started getting irritated I said, "This is ridiculous, and I will come in tomorrow to personally see Dr. Lang and get it straightened out." she then said "you can talk with another medical assistant, but they are just going to tell you exactly what I had just said". Because of the anxiety attack, and the pain levels, I told her, "I didn't want to speak to someone else because I feel I would lose my temper and possibly use inappropriate language, or say something I didn't mean. I am just going to hang up now." and proceeded to terminate the phone call. I am sorry if Janell feels that I used inappropriate tones but at no time did I use indecent language. I have recently found out that she said I did use inappropriate language, and she must have told that to another doctor since I received a call from him at my home, not more than an hour after the conversation took place. The fact that she lied saying I used inappropriate language, just because she didn't like my tone of voice, or agree with the medications prescribed comes across and is inappropriate and unprofessional. She used that instance to label me as an angry drug addict, at which point I haven't received the proper medical care and compassion I deserve. I believe Janell shared this misconstrued information with others in your office, which is what I feel led up to the unfair treatment given to me by Lisa. when I called Lisa about getting my muscle relaxers changed to a 5 day supply of a different type, since my insurance wouldn't cover the Robaxin I was currently using she told me "It is against policy to give you a different muscle relaxer other than Soma or Robaxin". I then asked for any suggestions and she said to use Ibuprophren and ice, I feel that she could have looked for another alternative that my insurance would have covered like Flexeril. She was also very rude on the telephone. After that I was upset about the way I was being treated and I went to the Spokane Orthopedics Facebook page and left a negative review. The next time Lisa and I talked on the phone was when I explained that my insurance wouldn't pay for my Percoset and was unable to get back to the surgeons office to get a perscription for Oxycodone. So as a temporary solution I asked the pharmacy to request a small amount of Hydrocodone to cove

Dr. Kathy Moudy…read more She is our son's doctor - she was also my husband's pediatrician for his whole childhood - and his siblings. The concept of family is so important - I haven't gotten to have that in my life - (I bounced around doctors like crazy) so I really appreciate the trust that comes with time and age and experience. Our son has Erb's Palsy - an injury that affects the Brachial Plexus part of his shoulder and it was because he was stretched at birth and it affected him single handedly from the day he was born. She recommended occupational and physical therapists and is still forward facing even after his 5 years of life. Now he is starting Kindergarten and his shoulder is very useful and is affecting him only mildly when we were scared he was going to have very limited use. We are so grateful for her connections and resources. She let's us ask the questions that make us feel dumb as first time parents and trust me, none of us REALLY know what we are doing. Then there are the wellness visits, and any of us Yelper's with kids know anything - toddlers are crazy unpredictable sometimes and when you go to the doctor's once per year your child is completely different year to year. This year - about a week ago we had our wellness visit and he needed to finish up his school immunizations, discuss everything we had questions about and she did it with grace - all while giving his little Winnie the Pooh Bear the exact same exam to make him feel better. It was glorious - calm and peaceful office, great insurance cooperations and so forth. We are blessed.
