So, I purchased a set at the Barret Jackson auction in October 2024. My wife and I enjoyed the service and selection we got at the show. I thought about it overnight, read all the reviews and pretty much I didn't see any poor reviews of the furniture they sell so we purchased. I was told a couple months on delivery, but given the reviews, I expected it to take longer. It was winter in Colorado so I wasn't concerned. After a couple months I called Tony. To his credit he answered the phone and texts from me every time, was always pleasant and helpful. The furniture and accessories kind of trickled in, but by the end of month 4, I had everything. I little glitch with some missing hardware, but Tony got it out to me. bottom line, I liked the sale, I'm very impressed with the quality and would definitely buy from Summerset again. I'm really at about 4.5 stars due to the time of delivery, but I expected it to some extent. Overall, I'm happy with Tony and Summerset, their high quality furniture, great service and would not hesitate to buy from them again, just do so knowing it may take 3-4 months to get everything in. We bought summerset casual set because we thought the warranty was stellar. Once we received the set we noticed some warping and the frame wasn't smooth. We called the store and they told us to work with the warranty department. A few of our cushions have complete shredded to the point that we cannot take them out to wash the covers. I so regret our purchase and wish we would've went to Costco where the guarantee the quality of the item. We spent over 3K bc we thought this was a sturdier product and it has not held up (despite being on a covered patio with covers). Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!! read more

We purchased furniture in 2019 and all of the wicker pieces are falling apart. I filed a warranty claim, and I received a notice that it was approved. Since that time over a month ago, I have called 20+ times and no one answers and they do not respond to emails. Bought my Patio Furniture at their warehouse in Ontario at a sale I seen on Facebook, I was skeptical but went to check it out with the intention not to buy anything because I figured would probably be too high of prices! If you're looking for quality customer service and timely delivery, this is not the place for you. My husband and I found furniture at the Home & Garden Show. Tony was very nice and helpful. We were told it would take 4 weeks to receive our items. After purchase, there was no communication, which I'm not used to after purchasing something that costs thousands of dollars. I had to start calling at the 6 week mark to find out what was going on. If your company takes longer to get furniture out, fine, but don't keep selling the idea that it's on the way. A week or so later, we were offered to have some of our furniture without cushions, so it's not usable. We finally received the rest today. However, they used a cheaper vendor to deliver so they wouldn't open the boxes upon delivery. I had no clue if they were damaged or not. This is now 9 weeks since purchase. We purchased 2 chaise lounges with wheels that also has custom material, pillows and 2 side tables. The chaise lounges originally were delivered without wheels as originally ordered. Though once I informed Tony, he immediately replaced them with chaise lounges that have wheels and are overall better quality chaise lounges than the chaise lounges that I had originally ordered for the same price. I have bought more than 20 pieces from Summerset Casuals over the past 6 years. As other reviews said, the company is difficult to deal with (in fact, the dealer I originally used dropped Summerset Casuals because he said they were just too hard to work with), but the furniture looks good - at least initially. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up at all over time. The warranty is five years and in the sixth year, six of the pieces were so bad that they were unusable. I contacted Summerset Casuals who said that I was out of warranty, but that they would provide me with "partial warranty coverage". It turns out that this meant discounting the replacement chairs by just $50 (on chairs that cost more than $300). I passed and will never buy from them again. read more

I went to Sommerset to replace a bar stool I bought 8 years ago that had developed a crack. I thought it was out of warranty but Tony said the warranty was 10 years and replaced it immediately I looked at the outdoor living room furnitur and was impressed with the high quality. UPDATE 4-7-17 I have increased the star rating per Tony's request. We are very satisfied with the quality and look of our furniture. We can't wait for Easter to show it off. The issues that we had were in communication and administration. Customers should not have to deal with these issues. We would recommend hiring good clerical staff to deal with the phones and paperwork to avoid these issues in the future. UPDATE 4-6-17 My furniture arrived. The delivery people were very nice. The delivery order did have the wrong name on it so that was the problem. We are happy with our furniture but we probably won't buy from an expo again. You do not get the personalized service that you get when you purchase from a store. UPDATE: 4-517 I finally spoke to Tony on the phone and everything seems to be straightened out. They had our last name wrong on the delivery slip so when the delivery people called and asked if it was the Riley residence, we naturally said no. Our name is nothing like Riley. We have a scheduled delivery date of Friday so we are keeping our fingers crossed. We purchased furniture from Summerset Casual at an Expo from this company. A delivery date was set up. My contractor gave me the name of this company and a person to contact. Her name was Josephine. I went to so many patio stores all over Orange County and was completely frustrated and discouraged. I didn't know what to buy and I didn't want to make a mistake so I did what I always do, I prayed. I asked God to help me because he is the ultimate decorator ... He paints the sky, makes unique animals, fish , birds and humans. Within seconds of my prayer Josephine called me and told me she would come to my house and tell me what I needed to fill up my new patio. When she came, she brought a catalog and had a fabric book. She took measurements of the entire patio and then made suggestions. We worked together to create such a beautiful outdoor living space. I felt relieved but was a little afraid because I never sat on the furniture. I took a while ordering because I changed my mind a few times because I was customizing my cushions using different fabrics on the piping and coordinating fabrics on the cushions. Through it all Josephine was extremely patient and every time I texted her she responded immediately. I paid for the white glove delivery, which I would recommend. Because the furniture does not come assembled and the 2 ladies who put everything together (Rosie and Monay) were wonderful. Very competitive pricing and great service. Ordered on Friday and received shipment within two weeks (this allowed the cushions to be made). Packaging was great with no dings or damage. Not really a retail location but the warehouse experience was fine. Very easy to see the various selections. The quality of the furniture frames seemed to exceed anything that I saw on line and I could actually see, touch and sit in as opposed to pictures on the internet. Prices easily beat the internet prices and you could see what you were going to get. Cushions are made in house with a superior filler. No upcharges for different fabrics or piping. If they had the fabric in stock it was all the same price. You got to see rolls of fabric not pictures or small swatches so getting the right colors was much easier. The pillow shop (in house) produced pillows of the highest quality that met or exceeded any manufacturers that I saw and again was very aggressively priced. I strongly recommend Summerset Casual and their great staff led by Tony. I know that outdoor furniture pricing is too high but this furniture was really a great value for great quality. I forgot to mention the market umbrella that was made with the same fabric as the seats. The umbrella was well made and looks great. read more
