Nope! They were extremely rude. Judgy judgy. Be sure to dress up, freeze your face in place with botox and cake on the make-up- or they will not treat you well here. We were in the middle of a renovation project and took a break to head down there to order carpet. Because we were under a serious time crunch and the weather was not very cooperative we did not have time to go home and change first so we came in jeans and shirts that had some paint on them and looked a little tired. The lady who greeted us (after some research I now know she is the owner) slowly looked us up and down and said she'd find somebody to help us. You'd think we were bedraggled orphans or homeless people the way she looked at and spoke to us. Another employee came out and was somewhat helpful. As we were looking at samples and laying things down to look at them, the owner came over to the table where we were working with another client and pretty much just pushed us out of the way, talking loudly over us and spreading out samples. Both of them were extremely rude. It was like we were not even there. We quietly took the quote they gave us and walked out. I spent the next morning calling around for a better deal and nicer people who don't discriminate against you based solely on appearances. In addition to needing budget carpet for this property we were also intending to order a lot of higher end products for a second property we are working on but after the way we were treated, I will take my business ANYWHERE but here. read more

First, I wasn't informed the flooring was being delivered. I had to leave work unexpectedly. Second, expensive transition pieces were ordered that should never have been ordered as they weren't needed (the installer let us know this. The installers did an excellent job on the installation). Third, the flooring sample in the store looked nothing like what was installed. The picture on the sample showed a much lighter floor. Even the Summers rep. agreed the installed floor did not look the same as the sample or the picture of installed floor on the sample. (The Summers Interiors rep. suggested we could pay additional money for boxes of flooring and switch out the darker planks for lighter ones.) We've used Summers in the past, and didn't have any problems with receiving the correct flooring. ** We know now that if any problems arise, there could be difficulties. ** (Reworded) Update: Visited the store and were told we could contact the Coretec rep. to work out a solution. Summers Interiors was informed we would be disputing the charge, that we are their customer, not Coretec's customer. After they were told this, I was contacted the next day and told the Coretec rep. was going to submit a claim through their claims dept. We will hear back from the rep. in a week. Second update: It has only been three days and I was contacted by Summers Interiors. I was told Coretec is willing to replace the flooring for free with any flooring in the same line as the original flooring. Summers Interiors wants us to pay for the tear out and install of the replacement flooring. Third update: Visited the store again. They agreed not to charge us for the shipment of the replacement flooring, tear out of the incorrect floor and install of the replacement flooring. I have been getting follow-up calls from the Summers Interiors rep. They are diligently working to replace the flooring. read more

I had a bid given to me for carpet in the total of 6574.09 and my wife and I went back in to order the carpet. I asked Amber if she could include furniture moving for 2 rooms at no charge. She said yes no problem and took the bid in the back and had me sign it. I did not have the original copy with me. After the carpet was installed I received the balance invoice and my wife paid it. When I received a copy of the invoice in the mail I saw where I was charged 6723.53. We had also ordered shutters for over 6k and I just figured after they were installed and I was contacted for final payment I would have the $150 adjusted. Amber denied to my wife that she ever told us that and was very adamant about saying she would never give a discount for furniture moving. I don't like being mislead and lied to and I am going to post bad reviews on every site available unless this is addressed to my satisfaction. I still owe for my final on the shutters and the installers neglected the shutters on my French doors along with some other issue. I am inclined to withhold the $150 from my final bill read more

I don't typically don't take time out of my day to review a business, but this place is worth it. I worked with Lesli to get carpet and tile in my basement. She was great to work with, gave a competitive price for a quality product, and did it with a much shorter turn around time than most other places. I was used to the service of big box stores so my expectations weren't high, but it was so refreshing to receive the attention of a smaller store. The carpet I purchased from Summers Interiors is much better than the rest of my house and the home is brand new. The tile looks amazing and adds a much better touch than what is in the rest of the house. The only reason I gave four stars is because during carpet installation the walls were a little marked up by the installers. Worst experience ever. I went into Summers Interiors about 6 weeks ago and I'm still upset over what happened, so I'm writing this review to warn other people. Before I get started let me just say, I have not received one word back from them. I spent close to two hours on a cluttered counter, and eventually ended up sitting on the floor with my samples. Their small building was in such shambles that the woman had a hard time even digging up samples for me to see. At the end of the day, I need help buying materials for my new home. I understand clutter and can work around that, especially if the price (and customer service) is right. These women weren't very nice, and what price? I haven't heard one word from them. I felt horrible when I left. Wasted my day in that store. DO NOT GO IN THERE. Yuck. read more
