We've only had our flooring for only 3.5 years and it's already falling apart. We were told they would last 20-25 years. The flooring was installed horribly. We had Bowcutts come look at it several times after we moved in to our brand new home. They told us all of it was normal... now it's all falling apart. I called them to see if someone else could come out and look at it again now that it's falling apart. A woman told me she would send someone out and they would call me. It's been a few months now and no one has reached out to me. Very disappointed in this company. read more

Bowcutts completed our floors last Wednesday, although I'm just getting around to writing a review for it now. Why is that? Because we are still cleaning dust/demo/installation residue off of our floors. The installation team was friendly and prompt, and didn't mind when we were at the house painting while they worked on the floors. We had heard such great things about the company and we couldn't wait to see the end result. Unfortunately, our excitement about the finished product was mixed with disappointment over the shape our (new to us) new house was in. Everything on the downstairs level was covered in dust and the floorboards looked like they had been slapped back on the wall. Now, 95% of our floorboards have a gap between board and wall (see images). We saved up for a long time to make sure this project was done right. Although we LOVED the floors and the initial customer service we received, we are disappointed with how we were left to clean up the mess because of Bowcutts hard deadline with another project. When we reached out to them about the mess, they refunded us $100 dollars but that doesn't help with the fact that we are still (and will be for a long time) on a vacuum + scrub + repeat cycle on the floors. We had quotes from another family owned company in SLC and, in hindsight, I would have probably gone with them. read more

I have had Bowcutts install replacement carpet in my home now twice (once for the main floor and recently the basement) everyone loves our carpet.. when they step on the new carpet they say oh wow, where did you get this? They are very friendly and easy to work with.. their installers showed up on time and finished very quickly and were professional and very kind! I cannot recommend Bowcutts enough! We went to several other flooring places and preferred Bowcutts above all the rest. None of the sales people were pushy, their selection was vast, and great quality products and availability. Brooke has been a complete dream to work with - I mean that! There were a couple of issues with the flooring that arrived and she worked tirelessly to work out a deal with the manufacturer, find alternate flooring and get us what we needed in time to move in. Bowcutts made sacrifices on our part, even though they didn't cause the issue. They were more than fair and reasonable with us and we are fans for life. read more

What a great selection. I would have loved visiting this place even if I did not have need for flooring. It is not too big and overwhelming, and not to small and cramped. I really liked the layout of the business. They have various flooring laid around the building and it felt like the flooring to purchase was organized well. The sales staff on this particular day were super great to work with. We made an appointment to come in but because we all have full time jobs they offered to stay late and help us out. Even though we were there a little after hours the staff did not try to rush us with a decision and get us out of there. Top notch service!! We also did not feel pressured to purchase a top of the line product. They took into consideration our budget and where the product was being installed and helped us pick the right product for our needs. Just a great experience!! read more

We hired Bowcutts to replace the flooring in the main areas of our house as well as some stairs. This was a big enough project to where the house would be unlivable so we planed the project while we were out of town and had scheduled a family member to let the crew in each day. We were told this would be a 2 maybe 3 day project which turned into 6 days. While the quality of the finished project is great, the service and professionalism of this company is absolutely terrible. There is no communication between estimators, sales people and the contractor. Many details were left out of the bid and most things were not explained properly. The contractor, Manuel was over an hour late arriving and did not apologize at all and was very behind schedule. We voiced our concerns to the owners who responded back that he often shows up late and works late and that's just how he is. Again, no apology or remorse. The project lasted until we returned from our trip and the contractor came by unannounced to finish and once he was gone we realized he threw garbage in our yard and had thrown materials on our roof. We called the company and their response was he felt we were rude to him because we were upset he was so late and behind schedule which isn't close to the truth. We were frustrated but maintained respectful of all involved but this contractor threw a tantrum and vandalized our house. No apology and no concern provided by the owner. I could write pages and pages of issues but just save yourself the heartache and choose another company for your flooring project. read more

Dustin Bowcutt was a pleasure to work with. Dustin came to my house after another company did a horrible job grouting about 1,000 sq ft of my home. Apparently, they wiped too soon and pulled most of the grout out when doing that. The other company did a decent job with the layout; however they said it wasn't possible to give me smaller grout joints. Unfortunately, there is no fixing that. Thankfully, Dustin sent Fidel, and he is amazing with tile. Fidel ripped out and re-tiled the stairs after the other tile company laid the stairs as they wanted, not as I had requested. Fidel then re-grouted the entire area that the other company laid. I was nervous that the new grout may pop out after learning about tile and grout, but they came up with a solution (thorough cleaning and special mix) that worked beautifully. Dustin came out and provided me with quotes and samples for my business. We received a dozen bids and Dustin got me in well under everyone and their work was excellent. This was a commercial job and the work had to be done during the night hours. The installers were cooperative and did everything we needed. A+ to these guys!! read more

We had a dishwasher leak onto our wood floors and soak our carpet, Jan. 2017. Our insurance company went to Andrew. He came in took all specs then matched original wood and stain. The team who installed were great. Also was able to pick carpet, arrived in a week, installed in one day by a very smart and skilled man. They did a fabulous job. I would recommend this company for your flooring needs. They are professional and skilled. read more
