5 Star Kitchen and Bath - They have beautiful slabs of quartz products

They were wonderful with my Mom. Froylan took the time to explain everything to her. He asked her how to place the grab bars that would work best for her and how high the bench should be. Before leaving they made sure everything was left clean. We couldn't happier with the company. She now has a safe and beautiful shower!

I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5…read morestar offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone.

    EDGEhomes - Condo Living Room

CALIFORNIANS, BEWARE OF EDGE HOMES! THIS IS NOT A CATALOG HOME…read more.. I deeply regret buying my first home with EDGE Homes. Coming from California, I wanted a new, ready-to-live-in house and trusted EDGE's online catalog and reputation. I chose the Caleb A model, but what I received was not what I selected -- a spec home I didn't like. Worse, the house wasn't habitable upon arrival. Just days after moving in, we discovered the basement flooded with sewage -- the plumbing hadn't been connected to the city system. Repairs tore up the front yard, blocked our moving truck, and caused delays, expenses, and health issues for my girlfriend, who has a serious autoimmune condition. The smell, fans, and noise destroyed our sleep. A week later, the basement flooded again. EDGE blamed the city, but the city confirmed the issue was still construction-related. Workers admitted this had happened before in similar homes due to poor hiring and shortcuts to cut costs. One even warned they might have to break the basement floor if it happens a third time. We haven't been able to settle in. Our basement remains damaged and the insulation unreplaced. Our wedding plans changed because we can't safely host anyone in the house. Customer service has been dismissive, and we've been told no refunds or corrections will be made. I'll now seek legal representation -- not just for me, but for others who trusted EDGE and got burned. Their slogan says "Designed for Life" -- but this experience has felt more like designed for disaster. I will never buy from EDGE again. I hope this helps others avoid the pain we've endured. The deck was rebuilt with solid craftsmanship, clean lines, and attention to structural detail. Everything feels sturdy and properly finished. In addition to the deck, they fixed multiple miscellaneous items that had been piling up. Each issue was handled thoroughly rather than patched. Communication was clear, timelines were respected, and the crew kept the job site organized. If you want a contractor who shows up, does the work correctly, and stands behind it, I would recommend them.

I had him add a door to a front room that I wanted to turn into an office. The opening was already there, so all he had to do was fit a door into the space. He quoted me around $2,000 and then ordered the wrong size of door to cut costs. He then had to order the right door and charged me for both doors! I also had him do a bit of electrical work and he left huge holes in my walls. He told me he could do "anything" and yet couldn't effectively do two small jobs. My mom had him do a large project for her. He never gave my mom a bid (which I guess doesn't matter since he shafted me and I had a bid.) true things she dealt with with him, there's not enough room for me to address here. My mom is older and he took her for so much. When the project was near completion, (which took twice the time as agreed upon) she had subcontractors not completing their work because Dusty hadn't paid them! She hired another contractor to complete Dusty's work. I told my mom to sue him, but she didn't get anything in writing (her biggest mistake) and she's too old to go to court. Needless to say, run away from this company as fast as you can! If you don't, you'll have the worst experience of your life!!

Not only that but during the polishing they had actually taken off the shine finish in trying to get the seam to look good (does not look good). So if you stand back from the counter you can see where it looks worn and there is no shine left along the seam line. I had also order new 12" cabinets and what I got was 12" outside width not inside width.....whenever I measured cabinets the 12" was always the inside depth. I always thought it was a universal measurement on cabinets? The workers were great to work with but I would not recommend the product if your doing a big remodel......small jobs would probably work out ok.

I contacted Granite Transformations a few weeks ago to schedule a free in-home consultation. I'm…read moreinterested in re-modeling my upstairs bathroom and also wanted to get some pricing for new kitchen countertops. Granite Transformations caught my attention because they offer same day re-modeling services with no need for demolition. For countertops, one of the unique things they do is create a custom granite overlay that fits right over your existing countertops. That way there is no need to remove the existing countertops, so the remodel takes less time and there is a minimal amount of mess. The next work day I received a call back from Granite Transformations. The woman on the phone was very nice and helped me find a date that worked for my schedule. She told me the appointment would take about an hour. Fast forward to today, the date of my free in-home consultation. In summary, I'm very disappointed by how the consultation went. Alex, the sales representation from Granite Transformations, was extremely pushy and his attitude was off-putting. He was not willing to show me the presentation without my wife in the room, even after I told him that she wasn't interested in seeing it and that I already knew what she liked. To be honest, my wife doesn't like being sold on something and certainly doesn't like pushy salespeople. She wants to do some remodeling, but she trusts me to handle the details because I always consult with her before making the final decision. Alex explained that without my wife in the room I wouldn't be able to make a decision today and he said he wanted to close the sale today. I told him that I wasn't prepared to make a decision today and that instead I wanted to learn about available options fromGranite Transformations and the costs involved. He told me several times to just call back when I was ready to buy and seemed irritated that I wasn't planning to buy today. When I asked him to continue with the presentation he refused, and again told me to call back when I was ready to buy. He went on to say that because I'm also in sales I should understand, but honestly I don't. I'm not prepared to make a decision without first doing my research and learning about the available options. I would think that would be expected. That is why I schedule the free in-hone consultation. After all, there aremany companies who do kitchen and bathroom re-modeling and I want to make sure I get exactly what I want and at a competitive and affordable price. After my brief, but very unpleasant experience this morning with Granite Transformations in Sandy, I will not be calling them back.
