Great place to visit in downtown Stamford. A lot of unique sandwich offerings and a great selection of breakfast items. I made a custom sandwich with some nice, crispy curly fries and had a hell of a meal. It was a good amount of food for the price and the staff was friendly when I picked it up. Ate here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Most people got food to go while we were there, but you can dine-in. They have more seating around the corner, but they only opened half of the front part. High chairs are available-they were around the corner, not in plain view. It wasn't on the menu, but they were able to make a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a roll for my partner. My partner enjoyed the sandwich. I had a breakfast burrito with long slices of chorizo. I liked that the burrito was grilled so the outside was crispy. It would have been better if the cheese was more evenly distributed and there were too many potatoes for my preference. But still a solid and filling burrito. I could only finish half of it. Both times I've tried this place have been the worst sandwiches I've ever had. So greasy I couldn't even hold it. If I hadn't waited over 20 minutes (because the girl at the counter didn't know how to take orders and kept answering the phone and taking phone orders verrry slowly while a line of people accumulated), I would have given it back, but I just couldn't wait for another one. I had an Italian combo. It cost over $14 and while it was better than okay, it just didn't seem worth the value. Only two meets and not much of them. Hot peppers were not hot. I had them heat it and they did a nice job of that. Bread was nice and crusty. I have been to other sandwich shops and I find Italian combo sandwiches are better elsewhere with more meat. Again, it was not a bad sandwich at all, it just needs to be from a real Italian deli. read more

After almost two years of living down the street I finally visited this deli, and now have been a few times to grab lunch on days I'm working from home. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, wraps, and paninis (and salads, although I haven't tried those yet), and friendly service. The prices are OK, about what you'd expect for the area. Not a bargain, but you get a decent portion of good food. My first item tried was a speial, the Steak Diablo wrap, which came with a spicy mayo, peppers, and pepperjack cheese. It was good, a little smaller than expected for the price, but with a fairly generous portion of decent (not amazing) steak. Next I tried a popular item, the chicken pesto wrap (it's listed on the menu as a panini, but you can make anything a wrap). When I arrived after calling in the order they had accidentally made it a wedge, but gave me a discount for the inconvenience and changed it to a whole wheat wrap. This was very tasty (although a little greasier than I'd expected!). I'm looking forward to sample more of the menu items, trying some of the breakfast sandwiches people rave about, and giving those salads a shot. read more

I've been going to this place for months and it's really hit or miss but today was probably the worst experience i've had at a deli and I will not be going back. I ordered a simple chicken caesar wrap through door dash and when my order was ready the deli had called me telling me to come pick it up. When I had said that I ordered through a delivery service the man on the phone said that it's my order and it's sitting there and needed to be picked up. As i was explaining that i would not be the one picking it up he rudely hung up on me mid sentence. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years so I understand places get busy but I would never hang up on a customer mid sentence. Aside from the rude service i got my wrap delivered and was very excited as I had ordered this before and it was good! When I took the wrap out of the bag and unwrapped it the entire wrap fell apart. I should have taken a picture of it. The wrap was soggy and could not even be held without your hands being covered in grease. The wrap wasn't even cut down the middle. I decided to try to let it slide and so i re-wrapped it and held it in the paper so that it wouldn't fall apart. Now here's the best part. After the rude service and shitty quality of the food being put together i then bit into a piece that had a HAIR. And no this was not my hair as I am blonde and the hair was short and black. I am so disappointed with this deli and will not be going back. read more

Ordered a ham, egg and cheese on a roll. Everything was delicious, meat and cheese were great. Not hard to mess up but still above average tasting. They are conveniently located in the middle of several apartment complexes and offices, they hit a gold mine with that location and being the only food spot for at least a mile. Good work guys. Giving this place just 1 star because there isn't an option for ZERO. I would normally go to this place because it was so close to my apartment, but that ended after two separate incidents. Myself and a friend called in a large cheese pizza, go to pick it up and get a small. The owners said we called in a small pie, which was not true. Twenty minutes later we receive our large pie along with the small that they said we can have free of charge. Arrive home and open both pizzas to the beautiful aroma of dirty feet. The cheese or something was bad and both pizzas were tossed in the trash. Another visit to this place as a last resort resulted in me calling in a "philly cheesesteak and onion wedge". Upon arrival, I receive a steak and cheese omlet. I seriously don't understand how hard it is to take an order and cook that order. Maybe its bad communication or something, but not to mention this place was number 23 out of 29 on Stamford's restaurants with the poorest ratings. This place is awesome, all day long. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best I've had anywhere. They make great french toast and pancakes. For lunch, there are the usual deli things, and also half a dozen specials. The carnitas appear often and I always order them when they are available. They also make good pizza for lunch and dinner. I also used them to cater a 35 person party, and everything was great and the price was reasonable. Finally, and most importantly, the guys who work there are friendly and you will be greeted by name if you go there regularly. Open 7 days a week, but the hours vary by day of the week, so check that out if you are going late in the day. read more
