Everytime I go I get something different and I am never let down!!! They always have the nicest baristas and the food is way better than I expected. Will definitely be coming back at least once a week read more

Visiting from MN (in case this changes your opinion of my review ;) Ordered the moonmilk mocha - supewas tasty. I like sweets and this hit the spot. My first sips reminded me almost of an eggnog without the usual heaviness associated with it. I'll definitely go back. read more

Summer Moon Coffee - Mocha - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Buda, Texas

I'm a huge Summermoon fan, and have been a religious customer at your Avery Ranch in Austin location. My go to drink (because I'm all about efficiency) is your Moon Raker. It's just what I need to perk me up for the day. Well; I was thrilled to see, as I was heading to San Antonio today, that you have a location in Buda. I put in an order online to pick up a 007 & a Moon Raker, and was incredibly disappointed when I arrived to pick up my order and was greeted with the saddest, glass half empty, Moon Raker. I checked with the barista just to make sure she knew I got a Moon Raker (4 shots) and not a 007 (2 shots) also. She confirmed that my drink was correct, and made no effort to resolve my obvious dissatisfaction. I walked out of the store feeling disappointed with the realization that I'd need another pick me up of caffeine later. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I really like the chain, but this location is small andand this location has many friendly people working there and a cosy little front area. But their wifi is really unreliable and it needs to be fixed. That's like, what I come to coffee shops for nowadays. I wish I could give them all the marbles, but I just can't read more

The moon milk though! Love this place. I always get the mocha with moon milk. We even have a nespresso at home but go to buy the milk from here! The best read more

Just be careful when you order if you're sensitive to dairy. Before ordering I told them I can't handle dairy and asked what is in it. They said it's a secret recipe and said I'd be fine with a half moon. Well.....I was not ok. When someone asks what's in your special coffee, I guarantee it's not bc they're trying to replicate and sell your secret stuff! read more

Unique coffee with their use of Moon Milk. They have seasonal flavors like Gingerbread that are perfect. Bigger chains like SBUX tend to overdo the sugar on their frapps and lattes that you're just like ugh I need to go to the dentist. But Summer Moon Coffee has a nice ratio of coffee to flavor/spices/moon milk. The inside of their coffee shops have a hipster vibe to it. read more

Sometimes I have dreams of their moon milk. It's that good. After reflecting on a bad coffee experience I had somewhere else recently, it reminded me - I have literally never had a bad experience at Summer Moon. Every single visit has been positive. Quick, delicious drinks with quick, friendly service. Every single time. Seemed a travesty I hadn't given a glowing review yet, so here it is. Five stars well-earned! Alas, the moon milk cravings have been rekindled. read more

All I can say is you are missing out if you have never been to one of their locations!!! The one I enjoy most is off south first next door to Smoking burnouts. I get great coffee, service and when I'm done studying I can go literally right next door to a smoke shop for my vape pen!!!!! They also have pretty much everything else you need and multiple locations as well! Go get you some awesome coffee and check out the smoke shop next door, you won't regret it!!! read more

My FAVORITE & only place to grab a morning drink! The blue moon is my go to and it never disappoints. They have homemade poptarts that are to die for too. The service is always great as well. I hope this place continues to expand and grow. read more

Everyone always raves about summer moon coffee and their moon milk. I went to try it out. Oh my gosh this is delicious. I highly recommend it. So tasty. read more

Service is great, fast and efficient. It can get a little busy depending on what time you visit. The coffee always taste good; if you're a matcha fan-- theirs taste really good as well. It's nothing like Starbucks, none of that sugary super sweet drinks. If you decide to sit inside, it can be slightly noisy. But they have outside seating (limited, but it's there). Located at downtown Buda, so there are nice stores right beside it that you can visit. read more

Really cozy place and the staff is friendly. I had the chai latte with horchata flavor and it was so good it was addictive. The only reason why I do t give them 5 stars is because of their chairs and benches, they're solid wood and not very comfy to sit there for long like studying or reading. read more

Fun local coffee shop. A good selection of teas and coffees. Very friendly staff. Very popular so be prepared to wait.

Love the coffee! Been coming here forever. Why the bad review? We just walked in at 5:58, sign still on that they're open and the woman rudely informs us that they're closed. Shouldn't treat paying customers so poorly. read more

I absolutely adore Summer Moon. I had never tried them before and my boyfriend really likes their coffee... So when I moved to Austin it was definitely a must have. Everyone is always polite, the quality of their coffee and everything is amazing. Prices are reasonable, you would spend just as much or more at Starbucks and this is something local. I really like their espresso milkshake, I am definitely a big fan of it. The other day I also recently tried there's summer moon latte, that's what my boyfriend always gets... And it was incredible! You can get it in various ways, with more of their moon milk or with some of their moon milk, and some skim milk... It's really great! They sell super cute merch too! I will definitely be trying it more things on their menu with time going on, but I really do love this quaint little place! I also really like the name they picked! I attach some pictures of the menu, as best as I could! The sign is very big in the store, hard to capture! read more

Employees are always friendly! Their homemade pop tarts are great and I've tried almost every coffee on their menu and my favorite is the iced mocha moon latte with 1/4 moon milk. It is my go to! With only 1/4 of moon milk, it adds just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. Another few other favorites are the iced cinnamon latte, matcha iced latte, and during the holidays I enjoyed their iced s'mores latte. read more

This is a super cute location in downtown Buda. My favorite is the quarter moon, just a splash of moon milk. The honey moon is a close second! It's definitely enjoyable and a refreshing change from st@rbucks. read more

Always enjoy Summer Moon Coffee! 1/4 moon oat milk latte is my jam Everyone is always so nice. Highly recommend.

By now, their reputation in the community is so well-established as positive that the employees don't seem to make an effort. I interacted with two today who were both incredibly unfriendly. It's a dirty old room in Buda, not some "it" spot in LA. Get over yourselves! read more

Great spot. Highly recommend! All austin coffee lovers need to stop by this coffee shop if they are in need of a good cup of joe. read more

Such amazing coffee!!! Absolutely love this place! Cold brew with cold foam is incredible!!!

Delicious coffee, fun flavours, and great location, but crazy expensive. Also, the staff are friendly, especially those on the cash register, but sometimes the conversations from the Batista's are a bit personal. read more

I come to Summermoon quite often I'm not too far from there and I've never had a bad cup of coffee the service is always great.people are always friendly not the cheapest coffee but I highly recommend this place for a great cup of coffee and wonderful atmosphere. read more

Tasty coffee, OK service, busy place-lots of people working on their computers--not a lot of "extra" seating for drinking coffee socially.

First of all it excites the heck out of me to find another Summermoon location but this time closer to my (new) work location in Kyle/Buda area. YAY SUMMERMOON! With the new gig and having an early start for my day (7am) sometimes I don't make it out of my house with a cup of joe in my hands. That is where I detour and head on down to Summermoon right smack in the middle of Buda downtown area. Even at 6am the staff is super friendly, all smiles, and fast with making my drink. Inside is quiet even with a few customers typing away on their laptops. Watch out for those hanging basket lanterns though! I got snagged by one repeatedly as I tried sitting down in the cool church pews they have as seating along the wall. No big deal - I just had to remember to duck. Parking is easy and located right in front of Summermoon along with more cool local antique places surrounding them. Whether you are in Buda to browse, buy, or just look around be sure to stop by and get some tasty woodfire roasted coffee. I suggest a medium Summermoon with an extra shot to jump start your day, afternoon, and/or night. read more

Love them so much! Hot or cold you can go wrong with a coffee from there. Thanks Summer Moon!

Summer moon is always the best! I get the half winter moon, it's an iced coffee with their moon milk... tasty

Summer Moon's Moon Milk is life changing. The baristas are always nice + fast, the line can get long but they will move it along quickly! If you are in a hurry, order ahead about 10-15 mins and your drinks will be ready for pickup when you arrive. I've recently been getting their beans for my at home coffee & the quality is SO good. They know coffee and I love having a bit of them even when I'm brewing it myself :) read more

I came with a friend while I was visiting the Austin area and was pretty excited to try a new iced coffee. I had the Wintermoon which completely changed my opinions of what iced coffee should taste like. The Moon Milk they use here will leave you dazed with a goofy smile on your face, wondering how you've gone so long and gotten this far in life without it. This small chain of coffee shops offers up some quaint space perfect for studying, relaxing, or catching up with old and new friends. I think I'll be planning my next trip to Austin around a trip to Summermoon. Be sure to ask for Courtney when you order your Wintermoon. She's amazing. read more

Summer Moon Coffee - The Winter Moon! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Buda, Texas

This baristas take forever to make a drink. There is usually 4 girls behind the bar and the simplest drinks take forever. I watch them talk behind the bar and casually making drinks like sloths. They also are like zombies, not very friendly & just want to get transactions done so they can go talk to their friends. read more

Young kids working there that just talk while your waiting on them to make your coffee. They had my cup in their hand talking and when I said something she started making my coffee. Wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. read more

Can't explain why people go on about this place, not a legit coffee shop. Just a place to give you a sugar rush.

Great coffee! Good atmosphere and environment! My only complaint would be the customer dynamics and service could be a bit more "homely" instead of coporate feeling. read more

I'm surprised that they did my matcha latte really good. As an Asian, I've tried so many fake/mild matcha latte, but this place satisfied me

Love this coffee shop , both the trailer and the shop are always well taken care of . The staff is pretty cool and the vibe feels like a barns and nobles read more

Went today for the first time- the iced Matcha moon tea was great and just the pick up I needed to get through the day! It was not too sweet and didn't have a lot of free floating matcha is always great because who really wants a glob all at once? Cute vibe and outdoor seating for days, like today, that it's too nice to be inside! Will definitely be back to try more! read more

Not a huge coffee drinker, but Summermoon might be a game changer for me. It's hard for me to drink coffee without a good amount of sweetness and milk, and the mocha moon latte here is a perfect mix of all of that. After reading reviews, I decided to try it out, and I do not regret it. This particular location is so cute and pretty spacious. It's a good place to get some work done and enjoy some great coffee. This was my first time trying Summermoon, but it definitely won't be my last! read more
