My listing was not showing correctly on websites. Some websites just showed empty lot and rental price of $2400.00. The property manager stated to me that they don't do GLAM shots. I thought that was unprofessional as I didn't expect glam shots just correct photos of the rooms and not cut off photos of the room. He didn't check up on the home to switch the ac off to heat in the winter months of Oct/Nov. He had a smart mouth and stated one time "Its always something". He picked and chose when he wanted to communicate with me regarding my property the times he did it was to pacify me and to get me off phone and he didn't fully do what he said he would do. He was very dismissive and showed he didn't care about his client. When he turned my key in and I told him I was disappointed he said, It was him and he told his wife that he he didn't communicate with me. Beware!

Multiple work orders were put in throughout my time renting a property through them. On multiple occasions, work orders were completely ignored and then labeled as 'complete' months later. During the summer I had to submit a work order for the A/C breaking, I tried to call their office multiple times as the property was reaching temperatures upwards of 87 degrees. I called at least 20 times over a 4 hour span (during their listed business hours) and not a single time did anyone answer. To top it all off, I received only a fraction of my security deposit back and was charged over $200 to replace air conditioning filters and $400 to replace 1-2 tiles of laminate flooring. When I let the property manager know that the lease mentioned I must pay a fee if the HVAC was DAMAGED due to dirty filters, she then did not reply. I asked for itemized receipts of these costs, and of course, I wasn't given one.

I'm glad to not be the only who's had issues with Auben Realty not refunding the security deposit,…read morecharging extra, and not wanting to refund you. This company is absolutely crooked! Be very cautious of Auben Realty, better yet stay far away! They will make up false charges and refuse to pay back what they owe you. Upon moving out of the apartment it was cleaned and everything left intact as it was when I moved in the year before, minus one of the blinds. I was completely shocked when I received the disposition of itemized charges from my security deposit; specifically a false charge regarding the replacement of missing refrigerator shelves and drawers for $200. I then questioned the false charge and was sent a photo of an old out of date white refrigerator with missing components that was not in the apartment when I moved in or out. I explained to the property manager "Meagan Denson" that the photo she presented was inaccurate and not the refrigerator that was in my apartment. She then asked if I could provide photos of the refrigerator that was in the apartment, which I had no problem providing; along with videos. As the refrigerator that was in the apartment when I moved was stainless steel and definitely not white. Knowing the proof that I provided. How can you still fraudulently charge $200 when you have proof??? I will never conduct business with Auben Realty again and I recommend others do the same or do your research before hand.

I want everyone to know that its only due to loss of disability 'I am united Healthcare' that I am being evicted though there are protections in place for it. But GA is stacked heavily in landlords favor but its not that they won't get the money. Its they don't want to WAIT for it. Some real bastards! .....The eviction process is a tricky one for landlords, particularly when the tenants involved have specific circumstances that may grant them legal protection. One protected demographic is tenants with disabilities. AND Cannot evict you based on disability denial Landlords cannot evict you based on disability denial. They are required to provide reasonable living accommodations for disabled individuals1. It is illegal for a landlord to deny housing or treat someone differently based on their disability2. Now yes, they are entitled to making money but if the loss is LINKED to disability, and it was, until the appeals process is exhausted and it's not a long one, Then the tenant is not in default. I simply do NOT get the laws in this state as a NYer it's STACKED and way behind the 8 ball

Well, I finally got a chance to come back to Augusta and attend an event hosted here (85th Birthday Celebration). The facility (multiple banquet halls) was nice inside and out. The banquet rooms can be set up anyway you arrange. The banquet staff was very polite and attentive. However, the food was a little disappointing. The Tempura Fried Fish Filets were wayyy over cooked (dark brown and brittle), the string beans and sliced carrot were tooo salty, the roasted turkey and garlic mashed potatoes were decent, and peach cobbler was just okay. Having organized many business seminars on the west coast (and one of sisters owned an event planning company in Los Angeles) I would suggest that you request a tasting, if possible. Or maybe this place needs to just get a new chef. Not sure what was going on with the ladies room. It appeared clean but wreaked of urine(?). I am a super clean person and having owned a business with public bathrooms ... odors mean something was not sanitized correctly(with bleach solution). Back to the positive side of things... The food presentation was nice as was the dining area. Table was set up nicely. However, there was only one water glass per setting (no glass for the pitchers of tea and lemonade?). Neither were there dessert plates, salad forks or spoons in the setups? Never seen this before(?) I drank up my water to empty the glass to try one of the other drinks on the table. Same with my fork. I kept the same fork to eat my salad and dinner. There was a dessert fork above the place setting but you had to plate the dessert (peach cobbler) onto your dinner plate as you went through the buffet line. Never seen this before(?) So, the bottom line as in any event you plan you'll have to work very closely with the catering manager. I would ask specifics about your place settings and food. Nice facility though.

Recently I visited for a Women In Business event hosted by the Augusta Chamber of Commerce. They used two of the spaces, which were decorated beautifully. They used one room for a pre-reception and bar area. The other space was where the main event took place. The venue is spacious. I believe the catering is in-house. We enjoyed the meal. If they are in-house they were prepared with vegetarian options, which is always a plus. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the venue. It can be hard exiting the venue parking lot, but it won't take too much time. This is a great place for weddings, upscale events.
