I have been wanting to come here for a while. The food was good the sushi was decent. My two favorite things were the aquachiles and the baked mussels. On the day I came the air wasn't working so it was fans and the flies were dining with us. But customer service was good. It was an overall good experience. Food was amazing! Tried it for the first time the other night- ordered ceviche, a shrimp cocktail, a sushi roll, green muscles and it was all absolutely fantastic. The ceviche and shrimp cocktail both had a ton in them and a ton of flavor. The place was priced right about where most are, like $17 for the special roll we got, so it's considered a tad pricey but unlike most places this one is actually worth the $$$. read more

First time here, I will say the service was great. We were about the only ones here but our service was very attentive and kind. I ordered the prawns and I feel they were not all that in flavor. I feel they were overpriced and they were sliced in half and still only served a little bit. We also ordered the scallops or cali de hacha and I will say the portion size was fantastic for the expensive price we paid. They served so much we had to take the rest home. Been meaning to try this place for awhile. I'll be gentle since this is a new place, I want it to do good. I was lucky enough to show up on Wednesday, which is 3 rolls for the price of 2. Pros: sushi was actually pretty good. I had the agua chile roll and some other ones. We also ordered the birria consume and it was perfect for the cold weather. Next time I'll try the birria ramen. Cons: The place wasn't busy but they took about an hour to bring us the rolls. I did notice they had a lot of phone orders and only one cook. read more

Great place! I recently found this place by accident, was looking for a place to get dinner one evening and Walah! I pulled in the parking lot, ordered Birria tacos, birria quesadillas and Birria Ramen and man!!! This review is not about the food. The food was really good. I went with my family yesterday to try their aguachile roll. It was 10/10. We kept a menu incase we ordered more food. The bill came to the table and 50% of the prices did not match our menu. After asking if they can price match with the menu. We were informed that they gave us the wrong menu and the manager had just stepped in to change the menus with way higher prices. ( we did see her come in and leave, it was a young lady with light baby blue shirt). They also pointed out that prices can change at any time....... I am a reasonable person and I do understand that. I get it, inflation and what not. Yet! You can't give me a menu at any restaurant and as I order, I eat my food you then charge me way more for it because right there and then it changed. The young lady didn't even try to honor the previous price, she pretty much said Oops, too bad, by still charging us. We were really enjoying our experience, but train your employees to have more customer service and realize that if you messed up, especially with the bill, don't just brush it off. I was really dissatisfied and didn't even think of taking pictures. What a sour way leave after you had just had a lovely meal. read more

The consomé was fire had really good flavor added the chili sauce that came with the Quesa Birria Taco fire.. now as for the Quesa Birria Taco is was not appealing at all it was a small taco with alot of onion, I'd recommend a Quesadilla Birria instead for the price of the taco which was $4.52 I'd go with the quesadilla. The popcorn roll was really good as well. Two tables came in at least 10 minutes after us and we're immediately greeted and had orders taken. I'd give it zero stars but it's not an option. HORRIBLE service. We've been here twice now. The hummingbird appetizer is my favorite. We tried the Langostinos. IMO, the price is to high. $24.00 for very little meat from the shrimp. Shrimp was mushy. The sauce was good. Don't get me wrong we polished off the meal. The first time we went we ordered a sushi roll(don't remember which one). It was ok. Like someone had already said...sushi rolls were ok, just made very poorly. Very thin and falling apart. .... I love the customer service. The place has a Mexican restaurant vibe. So, yes, the music is loud. They have 3 tvs going. Music that one would get up and dance too. The team that was working last night were dancing and enjoying there job. You don't see that anymore. So I've been to Sumabi 4 times. The first experience was great. Nice attentive waitresses with personalities. Food came out in a timely manner and tasted great, this was over a year ago. Our second visit didn't have the same waitresses. After ordering our food and waiting for over 20 minutes I saw that our food was on the counter ready to get served to us. The waitress walked by our food at least three times as she took more orders. As she finished taking the order of the table next to us, I asked her if she could grab our food from the counter. She looked at us with a confused look and asked what we ordered. Although I was now the one who looked confused, I repeated our order to her. She came back with our food and said that she didn't know it was our food. Third visit we got the same confused waitress. After waiting 15 minutes to be seated (at an empty restaurant) then an additional 10 minutes for her to take our order. She advised us that they didn't have any beer. I jokingly asked her if she didn't think that three guys that obviously just got off of work would want beer with their seafood. Confusion in her face set in again. We promptly left. Fourth visit was a Hail Mary attempt. We walked into the restaurant and we're promptly seated but then ignored for about 15 minutes as the two waiters now joked around and twirled around the front desk. We got up and left. I don't think they notices us walking out until the door was open. Definitely would never go back. It was nice thinking we could avoid having to go to jurupa for mariscos. Such a nice experience! We went on a Thursday early evening and we were one of the only groups in there. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The waiter was very kind and helpful and attentive. The food was SO GOOD! We got a regular birria taco, a quesabirria taco, consome, and a sushi roll (I forget the name). All so so good and a very decent price! Everything was around $32 for two of us.
