I started with the clams casino appetizer which was hot and enjoyable, nice consistency of chopped clams, bread crumbs and seasoning The salad was next with which I ordered with honey mustard dressing which the server told me was not available. When the salad arrived I noticed the server went out of her way to top it with honey mustard dressing. I enjoyed the main course of a 6oz. filet mignon, which was a large enough slice for the number of courses served. Absolutely tender and delicious and as always a perfect medium rare. The meal was ended with a delicious creamy NY style cheesecake. The patronage is a testament to the value and quality of the food, always a crowded dining room. Wednesday night features a singing entertainer Always a byob which many of the patrons enjoy, which also adds to the value of the dining experience. This is one of the best restaurants in this part of south Jersey.

Brigalias is a beautiful venue, and the decor and overall appearance were very nice. However, there…read morewere several issues that made our experience disappointing. The catering food was not pleasant and lacked flavor. For an event where students and families are paying a significant amount of money to attend, the food quality should be much better. Another major concern was that a wedding was taking place at the venue at the same time as my daughter's prom. Students were restricted from taking photos near certain statues and areas because of the wedding, even though wedding guests did not appear until the very end of the night and were primarily located in a separate room. It was frustrating to have photo opportunities limited throughout the evening for an event that was not actively using those spaces. If the venue cannot reasonably accommodate both events without impacting the prom experience, then they should not schedule a wedding and a prom at the same time. I've heard that other local schools have experienced similar issues at this venue. When students are paying hundreds of dollars to attend prom, they should have full access to the venue and photo opportunities without unnecessary restrictions. Lastly, the venue felt much smaller than expected for an event of this size. While Brigalias is visually appealing, the food quality, limited access due to another event, and lack of space made the overall experience less enjoyable than it should have been.

We came to this place for a beef and beer fundraiser. Unfortunately, the food selection and quality was poor at best. First of all, what a skimpy presentation! A meager bit of chewy roast beef on a store-bought roll, cheap overcooked pasta with generic sauce (not sure it was even tomato), and a bag of salad greens in a bowl. I even heard that the organizers had to fight just to get a pasta dish since the venue was just going to serve up plain potato chips. A complete failure. Worse yet, as my girlfriend took a bite, she found a long black hair trailing out of her mouth. It was enough to make her gag, so she painted a bathroom stall with her disappointment of a meal. The ultimate insult: the employee that we showed the hair to notified the owner, and we watched the man chuckle, flip the hair of a female employee, then berate the man who took our complaint.
