On our wedding day, we were able to truly be present and soak in every moment because we knew everything was in her hands. But what made our experience even more special was having her officiate our ceremony. We knew she would do a beautiful job, but she made it so incredibly personal and heartfelt. It was one of the most emotional and beautiful parts of our entire day, and having someone who had been there throughout our wedding journey be the person to marry us made it that much more meaningful. Truly, the icing on the cake. We will forever be grateful for everything she and her team did for us. She didn't just help plan our wedding, she helped create memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There is a lot of natural light which is nice. I think the space may have been sectioned off so I couldn't quite get a sense of the entire venue. It's pretty from what I did see and a nice place to host an event.

A lot of people bring their own chairs or blankets which could be helpful in the future When we came, there were a lot of food trucks to choose to so can't speak on the food at urban apples, but their ciders were tasty! I got a flight and enjoyed trying different flavors. I wasn't a huge fan of their "regular" cider but I enjoyed the raspberry one and mixed berry. The cinnamon one was also tasty! There is a huge outdoor area and our kids loved playing in the open field and going down the tunnel slides. There's also a play area and other things we want to check out the next time we come. Definitely a fun spot to hang out with the family!

We visited on a Friday evening when they had a Beatles tribute band performing. Nice, and no cover charge! We were starving, so we popped right into the long line to order food. When we finally queued up at the bar, I asked for recommendations and was told the burgers were excellent, so I ordered one. A bit of a shocker - we were told there could be up to an hour wait for food, despite the fact that the building was less than 50% full. It was also a little chilly, so there were just a few peeps outdoors. But I appreciated the honesty. Over 90 minutes later (!), our buzzer finally went off and we picked up our food. And it was not worth the very long wait. As seen in the pic I uploaded, my burger looked like it had been sitting under warming lights for some time. The beef had a nice dark char to it, but after a bite, it was clear that additives had produced that attractive color. There was a good amount of beef, but the processed taste was a huge turnoff. The chips were interesting! They may have been made in-house, as there were big, billowy pieces that were delish, but other chips were moist enough that you could actually fold them. A touch less salt and they would have been an 8 out of 10, in my humble opinion. So I paid $14 for a burger that tasted clearly pre-processed after waiting 90 minutes in a half-full restaurant. No thank you.

I stumbled across it today while out driving around and waiting for an event I was attending. The mansion is a historic mansion that was inspired by the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg, VA. It has multiple options for several events and has been updated by Hamilton County Parks. From the looks of things, those updates continue to be implemented. As a historic mansion, accessibility isn't perfect. Things have been made as accessible as possible - Hamilton County, in general, tries to do that. Event space on the main floor has space for 80 people for a sit-down event. If the patio is included, you could have 100 sit-down or 120 standing. There's also a third-floor music room that has space for 40 sit-down. If you need a larger space, Coxhall Gardens has several other options including an amphitheatre. It's super weird to think that this was a home. The land started with the John Williams family (No, not the Star Wars composer). They were early Hamilton County settlers and moved here in 1855. 10 years later, they built the Victorian home that still stands. Bricks were even made on-site. In 1958, a 40-year-old Jesse Cox and his wife would make a bid on the property - it was initially denied, however, a year later the property was still for sale. Finally, they were able to acquire it. In 1999, they donated it to Hamilton County Parks. Due to its historic nature, the mansion is often viewed separately from the rest of the gardens. This entire complex is pretty mesmerizing, however, Carmel has a long history of weaving together luxury, history, and practicality and this mansion is a great example.

I've previously had several different types of laser treatments, but this was by far the best experience and treatment. She is extremely knowledgeable and talks you through the entire process. The second floor is an open event space and available to rent. The space includes a kitchen area. All services can be scheduled and booked online, which is such a time saver! Highly recommend this gem in Carmel!

While sipping coffee on the main square of Noblesville we spotted an advertisement for a performance of "The Bad Seed" at The Cat Theatre the following afternoon. I grabbed tickets on my phone and we explored the main strip of town that day having lunch before checking out the play. The Cat Theatre was great! Cozy, intimate and comfortable with fresh hot popcorn + soda and beer options (affordably). The quality of the performance was top-notch, the tickets were affordable and we had a great time.

We stopped in for a glass and sole chill time on the patio. Ive seen it busy but on a Saturday night there was lo problem finding a table. They schedule live music on the back patio. Think local musicians with a guitar singing solo for tips. It gives a great low key vibe. The server/bartenders are well versed in their wines and can help guide decisions if needed. I think they are incredibly positive which is always appreciated and keeps with the shops over arching theme. We will keep coming back.

There are new owners who are just getting into the art and event space business, their passion for the building and potential for the space shone through when we were talking to them. Bill gave us a tour of all 4 floors, explaining some of the art on display and detailing his plans for the spaces not yet finished. Gallery Forty-Two is going to be the perfect venue for weddings, its so close to Monument Circle it provides the perfect backdrop for weddings pictures downtown. There are lots of details and textures such as exposed brick and original doors that make for amazing photo ops inside also. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. This makes me want to renew my vows so I have a reason to book an event here. They do events on 2nd Fridays (instead of 1st Fridays to avoid competing with so many other downtown events) from 6-9pm. Go check out this stunning piece of downtown history, and enjoy the art at the same time!
