This store is a hidden gem in Downey. The owner hand makes all the soaps which come in a variety of smells and ingredients. As someone who rejects corporate, factory made products and love all natural products this place was perfect for me. I get my deodorant here, body soap, body moisturizer. In addition, the owner is usually there and she is very helpful and accommodating. The prices aren't too bad: bar soaps $6, body moisturizer $16-$20, deodorant $6. I love this store so much! My bathroom smells amazing after using the lavender & vanilla soap, the chocolate & banana soap, and the pumpkin & vanilla soap. Everything is handmade and so inexpensive. Every soap is about $6-8 which is such a steal! These soaps are really great for sensitive skin and they have a lot of options for skin with acne, hyperpigmentation, and eczema. Great products and great staff. I have tried out their soaps as well as their facial masks I can't stop going back to this store. I am officially addicted it's like lush but better and more affordable. Plus it's close to where I live. The staff is always helpful and know their products well. I recommend if your acne prone like myself to try out the green tea oregano soap and the spirulina mask. It truly does help prevent and deminish my acne. I first heard of this company from a co worker. She had explained to me that her son suffers from extreme eczema after I told her about my daughter's teen acne and my sun spots. Wendy does an AMAZING job creating wonderful smelling body soaps. They also serve their purpose for example anti-aging, eczema, acne, and etc...specially the feminine soap!!! What I love about Suhay's soap is it's homemade, Wendy LOVES what she does and her passion shows with her products, these are the only soaps we use for my husband and I and let's not forget doggy soap!! I love the natural ingredients that's she uses! In my family there's different skin care needs. My son in law has eczema and he used her specialty soap to help the eczema. I stopped at Suhay's Soaps during teacher appreciation week. I believe it was sometime in the beginning of the month. My 10yr old daughter wanted to get her teacher a cute and wonderful smelling soap. We normally get our soaps from Sprouts or Whole Foods. Then, one day I was on Instagram and came across Suhay's Soaps. My daughter and I stopped by to check it out. The store is so cute! We walked around and smelled the different soaps and admired the creativity that went into making them. The soaps are handmade! That was more of a reason to want to buy them knowing the effort behind them. I don't own a business but I appreciate small business. I ended buying 3 soaps. 1 for my daughter, 1 for me, and 1 for my daughter's teacher. My daughter keeps asking when are we going back. We will be back this week. I had been struggling with severe eczema on my face for almost a year... I have great insurance and my dermatologist kept prescribing me steroids but if you look up the side effects you will be terrified (thinning of the skin, blah, blah, blah) and I was not getting better. I started to do lots of research on my own and was looking for natural cleansers/moisturizers - this is when I came across Suhay's Soaps website. I am really glad I went to the store!!!! I went in on April 5th so it's been 2 months since I have been using the products that Wendy (store owner) recommended. My face is COMPLETELY different. I had extremely dry, itchy, and scaly skin. I was embarrassed to go to out or even to work because it was noticeable. I would cry so much because I thought I was never going to be the same. BUT my face is now glowing, soft, no longer itches, and I have NOT had any eczema flareups. I am a happy camper!!!! This is what I recommend: Tepezcohuite soap, Carrot soap, Rosehip Face Soap, Tepezcohuite & Vitamin E Face Cream, Spirulina & Moringa Face Mask, and Rose Water Facial Spray. This is how I use them (recommended by owner): Day: 1. Splash warm water on face and then cool water. 2. Apply Face Cream. 3. Spray Rose Water  Night: 1. Wash my face at night by alternating soaps each night. 2. Face cream. 3. Spray Rose Water Spray (this was me just trying to make sure summer don't dry me up again). I would like to start off by saying the shampoo and conditioner that Wendy recommended have SAVED my hair. I bought Monat (shampoo and conditioner) thinking it would be the most amazing product for my hair. I know everyone's hair is different but not only did that product leave my scalp oil but it also left it tangled. It was so bad that I couldn't even brush my hair. I used it for a 2 months thinking it would change and it just got worse. The first day I used Wendy shampoo and conditioner I got out of the shower and my hair felt so soft. A little product goes a long way. I was a bit nervous to use a bar conditioner( because I'm use to something coming out of a bottle) but I love it. Heard about this store from a coworker. I started to follow it on ig and was curious to try the shampoo bar. I'm prone to dandruff but recently have been experiencing a lot of buildup on my scalp that was pretty gross. The rosemary shampoo bar has worked great. Wendy walked me through the entire store & gave me information on all the benefits of the soaps, face creams, & body lotions. The "spirulina" mask is working so nicely. My sun spots are almost gone. My daughter had inflamed acneic skin with post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, and after just 7 days of using it consistently, her acne &texture has completely disappeared and her dark spots have significantly lightened.
