Amazing place donuts were so good! Service was great, and it's a really clean and well cared for place.

When life takes you to Lancaster, wipe away your tears. Put Sugary Donuts on your to-do list, and that nightmarish, fog-drenched, high-speed drive to nowhere won't seem so bad. The donuts at Sugary are a hit. Located in one of Lancaster's several thousand strip malls, Sugary beckons you with its brightly lit windows and tempting counters inside. The owner practically jumped out of her seat to greet us, and bagged our donuts with a smile. Later, in the car, it was me doing the smiling, as she had packed some (free) donut holes in each bag! The donuts here have a cake-like quality and are less dense than donuts offered at other shops. My favorite topper, vanilla icing, was cream-cheese-creamy without being overly sweet. On the negative side, my smile turned upside-down upon reaching my final destination. My Sugary bag was empty; I had eaten all the donuts in the car. Try Sugary and let me know what you think. I think you'll agree that a little donut shop just put Lancaster, California back on the map. read more

Donuts are so good. Has some custom made for my birthday party and my guest ate them all!!! The lady b3hind the counter is so nice and sweet. Best Donuts in AV read more

Super great and delicious donuts and the lady working there is very sweet and nice. The donuts are so fresh and they have excellent variety. We go here often :D read more

No way to complain on GrubHub, Sugary Donuts phone just goes to voicemail... very frustrating. Opened the SEALED box after delivery, was met with a HUGE BLACK HAIR draped across the donuts. Disgusting. I'd rather deal with this privately with the store, but they made it impossible. So, BEWARE. Unless you enjoy hair in your donut icing. read more

The donuts are so good and they have unique ones like Froot Loops and Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts as well as the classic glazed and maple bars. Definitely one of my favorite donuts shops! These donuts are BOMB! I'm from Valencia and lived in Las Vegas for 10 years. I've tried it all! Pinkbox, suburb donut shops, Ronald's Vegan Donuts on Spring Mountain in Las Vegas (okay these are pretty amazing too and are comparable) i don't know how they make these donuts but they are like no other...I imagine they use a lot of oil in frying?? Idk but they are delicious!! A must try!!! read more

The friendliest staff! You literally walk in and are made excited to get donuts! Then you look into the case and the donuts are so much fun! Incredible selection including feral donuts....stop!!! Stopped here while on our way to San Francisco. It was after 5pm, so of course I'm assuming the donuts may not be fresh. But in fact they are still moist and soft. Best thing about this place was the lady working was so nice and friendly. Bought a lottery ticket, we win she wins! Although we do not live near, we would definitely stop again during another road trip.... Especially since the treatment by employees determines a customers loyalty to a business.... Great customer service!! read more

I was very disappointed I saw the yelp review for the maple bacon bar that was only serviced on Saturdays, now I usually don't go out on the weekends but I want to try one of theses donuts everyone was reviving about so I got up sat morning and went there, no maple bacon donuts!!! I did get a maple glazed cinnamon roll but it wasn't what I went out for and it was a Saturday and all she said was we don't have them, that's all. read more

It is easy to see why they have such good reviews. The young woman who helped us was as friendly and as sincere as you could wish for. The selection, even in the mid afternoon was good, and the donuts were some of the best that we have had. read more

Worst customer service. I have a coworker who is highly allergic to chocolate. I've been going there for quite some time and they have always respected my request to use clean tongs to grab a single maple bar for me. Today I was told that they don't have any clean tongs (really? no clean utensils!!) and she refused to use any other means to grab a single maple bar. They have lost a very loyal customer. read more

Changed owners and the baker also changed, donuts are not soft and fluffy like before. Even the donut holes are different. Sad, we use to come here a lot but now walking into the store feels different miss the old owners. read more

Looks like new owners. They had the fluffiest donuts and I love coming here to get a dozen to bring to the office for my coworkers. My problem with the previous owner was they don't have donuts ready by 6:30am. So I show up just at 6am and I can't pick a variety dozen. The cute lady in the morning will get most donuts ready by 5:30am which works great for me. I normally pick up a dozen donuts and a plain croissant to bring to the office. For some reason, just like another reviewer says. The donuts and croissant bread are not as soft and fluffy as the previous owners used to make them. I hope they come back to the original recipe as that is what made the two Sugary Donut locations special to visit here in Lancaster. read more

I'm a connoisseur of chocolate donuts. This place has the best I've ever had! Best $1 I've spent on something in my mouth in a long time.

Been here several more times now and tried many of the donuts... FOOD: I've been to pretty much all of the noteworthy donut shops in the AV, and this place has the best donuts. Hands down. The various glazes and fillings are among the best I've had and all taste fantastic, and the donuts have great textures to them too. You can tell the people that work here are really passionate about what they do! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great customer service! They're always full of positive energy and very eager to talk to you about their donuts and help you find what you want. Makes it an enjoyable experience. PRICING: Extremely affordable. Awesome prices for such great donuts! read more

Love, love, love Sugary Donuts. I went in with my two toddlers and 4 month old in her car seat carrier. I ordered a dozen donuts and without hesitation the sweet woman working offered to carry the donuts out and even held my two year old daughters hand while I loaded my other two in the car. The customer service is just unreal. My husband goes in all the time and never fails to mention how great the place is. This is "our" donut shop! Going anywhere else just feels wrong!! Oh, the donuts are pretty awesome too. read more

I am so sad that I have never been to this place before! I can't believe I've been driving 30 minutes to Krispy Kreme all this time. Visited the store on Sunday evening, and their donuts were almost fully stocked, and warm!! The lady behind the counter was so kind and welcoming she even gave us a free donut. I purchased half dozen for $4.99 just to try them and wow do I regret not purchasing the entire dozen. Absolutely delicious and airy donuts, especially their chocolate ones with chocolate sprinkles! I also had a java chip iced coffee which was just the right amount of sweet which was perfect. Will definitely be coming back here and only here from now on. read more

We were pleased to find a local donut shop w/great tasting treats! I've picked up a dozen assorted the last couple of weeks on Saturday and my family destroys them. I enjoys the chocolate and maple frosted. I've also spotted a maple and bacon in the display case but haven't tried it yet. Their coffee is solid and the service is friendly. read more

The owner's great personality is what keeps this place in business. For standard donuts, you can taste their commitment to the product and their patrons. Accepting credit cards is a plus, when most donut shops only take cash. Sugary is your best option, when you're looking for a good donut that won't let you down. read more

I've been in here several times, either picking up donuts for work or cheating on my diet! Lol but when I do I ALWAYS choose to do so with the donut holes! They are so delicious and flavorful, I mean idk what kinda sneaky ingredients they put in them but I'm addicted! And the lady I believe is the owner she is so sweet and personable. And she doesn't care if I'm on a diet or not she always sneaks me a few extra holes so I can pretend there really were a dozen to begin with lol. Love this place. read more

Very ordinary. I'd pass it by. Is the Antelope Valley so underserved by decent bakeries that a place like this gets a pass? This place would be a solid two star donut shop in any suburb in America; in any metro area in the NE this place would be lucky to be in business. Dough are bland. Filling is bland. Icing is bland. Donuts are bland. The dough is also over fried so that the crust is hard. Honestly, I'm giving it three stars because it's in the middle of the high desert. read more

Seriously the best donut shop ever!! Donuts are Amazing... BUT it's the owner of the shop who really makes coming here special. She is so sweet! Highly Recommend!!! read more

Can I just say that when I walked into this bakery, it was as if the heavens opened and the angels' voices were uplifted in beautiful song as I gazed upon the pastry paradise displayed before me? I'm not a big fan of donuts. Usually too greasy and heavy and I immediately regret my decision to indulge. But this? This experience was nothing short of extraordinary and completely changed my opinion of how amazing donuts can be!! Service was phenomenal and patient. It was HARD making my choices in my mixed dozen. My family is new to Cali and we have found our new favorite donut shop! I can't wait to try the drinks they have as well! CHECK IT OUT!!! read more

Sugary Donuts is my favorite donut shop! I've tried other donut shops, occasionally due to late night cravings, and nothing compares to the freshness I taste in their maple bars. It'd be beneficial to plan ahead and buy some extra donut holes for those of you who have midnight cravings like mine. What's best is I notice how friendly the ladies working there are to everyone. It shows appreciation in their work and I contribute this to the wholesome sweetness I taste in every bite! read more

Sugary Donuts - Sugary Saturdays || Glazed Bacon Donut with Chocolate Frosting (Got a cold milk + hot coffee too) - Donuts Near Me - Lancaster, California

I wanted to like this place for the great reviews and pictures. And they're getting three stars because they're very nice and polite inside. The display of donuts was clean and they all look so fluffy. The price was fair for what we have and hey, you can play lotto there. Then we get to the actual donuts. The donut "holes" are more like mini bricks, in terms of size and density. I like donut holes for being able to just pop one into your mouth for the perfect bite of light and fluffy goodness, these are not the holes you'd be saying that about. The rest of the donuts are the same, not light and fluffy but dense and heavy. I couldn't finish a whole donut because of all the doughy filling, I was full. Maybe it's just my preference though. I will not be coming back. read more

A bite of a donut from here will give you the biggest surge of endorphin release ever! Donuts here are some of the best I've had, even compared to some world-renowned fancy-shmancy donuts I've had in big urban cities. So far, I've stuck with the basic maple and glazed donuts along with a giant cinnamon twist. All were quite impressive! The donuts are undoubtedly oily yet slightly crispy, warm, soft and fluffy inside. Simply delectable! My new favorite guilty pleasure! read more
