I love it here! The employees are so nice and friendly. I have not had a bad experience since coming here I don't live in Lancaster but when we are here we definitely stop by for some donuts. Prices are also fair for a dozen is about 8$ and half a dozen is around $4.75. The donuts are so good and they have unique ones like Froot Loops and Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts as well as the classic glazed and maple bars. Definitely one of my favorite donuts shops! The owner practically jumped out of her seat to greet us, and bagged our donuts with a smile. Later, in the car, it was me doing the smiling, as she had packed some (free) donut holes in each bag! The donuts here have a cake-like quality and are less dense than donuts offered at other shops. My favorite topper, vanilla icing, was cream-cheese-creamy without being overly sweet. On the negative side, my smile turned upside-down upon reaching my final destination. My Sugary bag was empty; I had eaten all the donuts in the car. Try Sugary and let me know what you think. Worst customer service. I have a coworker who is highly allergic to chocolate. I've been going there for quite some time and they have always respected my request to use clean tongs to grab a single maple bar for me. My problem with the previous owner was they don't have donuts ready by 6:30am. So I show up just at 6am and I can't pick a variety dozen. The cute lady in the morning will get most donuts ready by 5:30am which works great for me. I normally pick up a dozen donuts and a plain croissant to bring to the office. For some reason, just like another reviewer says. The donuts and croissant bread are not as soft and fluffy as the previous owners used to make them. Love, love, love Sugary Donuts. I went in with my two toddlers and 4 month old in her car seat carrier. I ordered a dozen donuts and without hesitation the sweet woman working offered to carry the donuts out and even held my two year old daughters hand while I loaded my other two in the car. I am so sad that I have never been to this place before! I can't believe I've been driving 30 minutes to Krispy Kreme all this time. Visited the store on Sunday evening, and their donuts were almost fully stocked, and warm!! The lady behind the counter was so kind and welcoming she even gave us a free donut. I purchased half dozen for $4.99 just to try them and wow do I regret not purchasing the entire dozen. Absolutely delicious and airy donuts, especially their chocolate ones with chocolate sprinkles! I wanted to like this place for the great reviews and pictures. And they're getting three stars because they're very nice and polite inside. The display of donuts was clean and they all look so fluffy. The price was fair for what we have and hey, you can play lotto there. Then we get to the actual donuts. The donut "holes" are more like mini bricks, in terms of size and density. I like donut holes for being able to just pop one into your mouth for the perfect bite of light and fluffy goodness, these are not the holes you'd be saying that about. The rest of the donuts are the same, not light and fluffy but dense and heavy. I couldn't finish a whole donut because of all the doughy filling, I was full. Maybe it's just my preference though.
