READ IF CUSTOM ORDER: Planning my wedding cake with them, I…read morelove how their cake tastes and they can do some pretty impressive things on a cake that they just sell day to day in store. I originally had some issues getting them to answer their phone (we get busy, customers walk in, I am in no way upset because I was also busy with college). Now, I thought we had everything finalized, but they double checked to make sure I was still going with them for my wedding cake (which I am super greatful for because... wedding day would have had no wedding cake lol). I went down to the store and got things squared away. I REPEAT, go into the store and double check with them you're in their system because their was some miscommunication over the text even when I thought there wasn't. (Again, I don't think anyone is at fault, just simple miscomunication). I went in today, paid, and have everything set straight. I love their cake, you definetly need to try it for yourself (I bought one of the llama ones they have in their display box).

4/24/26 Railyard Pie…read more- Mixed Experience This Visit We've been here several times before and have always had great experiences, which is why this visit stood out a bit--for different reasons. We stopped in for a quick slice of pie to go. The place had a steady flow of customers, but there was only one person working behind the counter. She was juggling multiple orders and answering the phone, so service was understandably slower than usual. We ended up waiting about five minutes (maybe a bit longer) just to place our order. My wife was ready to head out, but I decided to stick it out since we weren't in a rush. Once we were able to order, things moved quickly, and our pie was ready within a few minutes. That said, the initial wait was a bit frustrating--especially for what we expected to be a quick stop. It felt like they may have been short-staffed, which can happen, but it did impact the overall experience this time around. Because of that, I'm landing at 3 stars for this visit, even though I've rated them higher in the past. Still a place I like, just not their best showing today.

The service there is great too! My friends always like it as well, and it almost feels like we are visiting in each other's home because it's so comfortable sitting on their furniture. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the music is quiet so we can hear each other without having to strain to block out the noise around us. I give it 5 stars! So, meet your friends and enjoy, or just go and sit by yourself while reading your emails or a good book. I think you will love it as much as I do. One more thing, try the pastries because they are yummy, not on anyone's diet but just treat yourself occasionally, you won't be sorry!

When I walked in, the woman behind the counter was super welcoming and sweet, talked me thru the various flavors and mentioned which ones were made by the owners wife. The REALLY wanted a sampler platter of a bit of each one, but it was just me, so I settled on the pistachio milk cake and caramel milk cake. Oh. My. Goodness. Both were so incredibly delicious. I will 100% be back to try every flavor! They also have several varieties of Trompe-l'œil Pastries - all of which I absolutely will be trying, too. I've only ever had the pistachio one in Istanbul, so I'm looking forward to trying these versions! The interior is a lovely bright space, perfect to enjoy a cup of Yemen coffee and work.

Everything made fresh in the morning from what I have been told. And the best part is, it's a place that some of the items remind me of home. I am from Malaysia. Everything was perfection and so delicious. The only one that I wasn't a huge fan of was the black sesame infused cake. Usually something like that should have lesser black sesame, this was a bit overpowering. The best thing honestly on the menu was the Sando. Fruit infused sandwich, best thing ever! Best thing to do is get a bunch of stuff and go home and enjoy it while watching tv. Service- 9/10 Taste- 9/10 Ambiance- 5/10

We also ordered the Matcha milk tea with Boba over ice. The I side is cute and decorated nicely. Although it could use a little something else to tie all the stuff together. Maybe paint the white wall a cute color to match the benches. So the fruit sando is what I was most looking forward to! We are going to Japan soon and I know they have them there, but couldn't wait to try them here first. So the first bite was heaven! Soon after though I noticed a very waxy coating in my mouth. It's very good, but the waxy coating kind of takes away a little bit from the fluffy texture of the dessert. Overall I still like it a lot. The Oreo cake was not too bad. My boyfriend really liked it. The matcha milk tea was good. I was expecting it to be sweeter, like other places, but it's not super sweet. Still a good drink, but don't expect sweet. I took off one start for the waxy mouth feel after eating the fruit sando. I feel like the inside could be fluffier and less waxy. Still a good experience though!
