Came here to satisfy a craving. There isn't ever a long wait here and the staff are always friendly and making everything quick. Pretty good variety and everything I've tried has great taste. Very sweet on the ice cream and the cookies, but they are always fresh. This past craving I had was the blackberry crumble ice cream. As soon as I seen it on the menu, I had to have it. I ordered the cookie sandwich with the goey butter cookie and the blueberry cookie with the black berry crumble ice cream and had it warmed up. Super delicious and perfect amount of sweetness. My daughter orders the bear pie with a chocolate chip cookie and mud pie ice cream. She said the coffee taste on the ice cream was strong and that it could have been sweeter. Another sweet treat spot in Edmond! We were familiar with The Baked Bear in Yukon and were delighted to learn there was a location open closer to home. We had a blast when we visited the Yukon location a while back. Here the selection of sweet treats options really pumps up the fun factor of the experience. They have so many tasty sweet treat options: soft cookies (including gooey butter cookies...YUM), fanciful toppings...hello Nutella :), hot brownies, and rows of ice cream. The Baked Bear is where dreams (should) come true for dessert lovers. I think when you walk into The Baked Bear store it's a place where your imagination can run wild. In that moment with all your excitement and anticipation you hope to see enthusiasm (and at the very least kindness) mirrored to you by he staff. We had a disappointing customer service experience here. The staff just kinda sapped the magic; the order experience was unpleasant. I think that's the opposite of the vibes you expect from an epically awesome sweet treats shop like The Baked Bear. I'm hopeful for a change in the future. We were looking for some ice cream on our way out the OKC area and found this place online. Apparently they are a chain but I had never heard of it before. What's not to love about The Baked Bear? We recently moved close to this location, and I had kind of saved it for an evening when everyone deserved a little treat. We loaded up the babies and headed down Danforth, the maiden voyage; I now expect this little jaunt to become an absolute ritual. I think what I love about this so much is it reminds me of the destination ice cream shops of my youth, and now I have somewhere similar to take my littles. When I was little, the cool thing was TCBY. We thought it was such a big deal to get to go, and a fun thing to do on those long summer evenings, but in retrospect, an affordable diversion for our parents. This feels similar, if perhaps not quite as affordable. We queued until it was our turn, and when it was our turn the high school- or college-age staff was friendly, fast and helpful. Our treats were delicious, and the feeling of being out and about with our kids after so many months of being so careful was really fun, we were only inside for the time it took to order and pay, and then we could sit outside. This was a very popular spot for that age kids, and I for one found it comforting and sweet that hitting up the baked bear for ice cream sammies constituted a big night out in Edmond-town, even for the whippersnappers. Everyone in Edmond has been so excited about this place. Our family finally went together and ordered the famed ice cream sandwiches. Keep in mind that they also sell the cookies used to make the sandwiches separately and by the dozen - I believe. So the ordering process, as I remember it, first choose the top and bottom (you can mix and match) then select the ice cream flavor of your choice, next add any toppings that you want - or leave it naked - no one will mind, and finally if you like - you can warm it. I will say I won't warm mine next time... it was a tad too messy for this OCD girl - but that's just my personal preference. We extremely enjoyed our personal creations. I ordered the food truck for about 50 people for 2 hours 10:30-12:30. I paid A base fee of $250 plus paid for predetermined minimum quantity. I told them we would eat more so I would pay the extra after. None of the cookies were pressed hot. They tried to leave by 11:10. 40 minutes. Gave remaining cookies I prepaid for to an employee. I had to go get the cookies from the employee and have them make the remaining ice cream sandwiches before the truck took off. I had to put those in the freezer for the employees who had not made it out to the truck yet. Let's just say. Customer service is not there thing. read more

This place sells awesome cookies and ice cream. The staff is friendly. I come in to buy cookies for my coworkers. I only wish that they would do a proper baker's dozen, that's called being polite to costumers and is a time honored tradition that has become apart of our culture, and an expectation. It demonstrates how honored a seller is that a buyer chose them. Most everywhere does 13 cookies for the price of 12. That's the way it should be if you want repeat costumers. One time we ordered close to closing time and they were out of a lot of things, understandably, but gave us 2 coupons for free custom ice cream sandwiches. I understand being a teenager but I don't expect to get teenager treatment when I go into an establishment that I'm putting my money towards. I was irritated to say the least by the lack of attention or care to customers from the two blonde girls working the counter tonight. They were chatting with friends who had come in as customers as well rather than being attentive to their jobs. They started having a conversation unrelated to work which would have been fine had they not turned to each other, ignoring myself and the other girl who was ordering leaving me and her both standing there clearly annoyed. On top of that, I noticed when the couple before me ordered, the girl taking their order made facial expressions that were clearly meant to show her annoyance with their SIMPLE requests as they had ordered just as the instructions on the menu above tell you how to do. Like I said. I understand being a teenager, but in having a job you're taking on the responsibilities of customer care and these girls couldn't do the bare minimum. read more
