As we walked in we were warmly greeted by the workers and told to have a seat at the open booth. She wiped the table off and gathered some menus for us. What appeared to be a shift manager or lead came over to greet us and asked if we've ever been here before. We said no and that this was also our first time ever coming to a Waffle House. She said she had never been to one before either until she worked there. We both ordered the All Star: A popular breakfast option that includes eggs, toast, jelly, a choice of grits, hash browns, or sliced tomatoes, a waffle, and your choice of meat (bacon, sausage, or ham). I chose the bacon and my wife chose the sausage. I chose the grits and she chose the hash browns. We both chose the raisin bread for our toast. For drinks, I opened for a bottled Orange Juice and my wife chose the HiC punch. From our view, everything seemed to be clean. Our utensils were clean, the staff were amazing and welcoming. Grits were the bomb. Eggs were good. Toast was good. HashBrowns were good. Sausage was good. Now the opportunity: The Waffle should have been the highlight and unfortunately it wasn't for me although it had good flavor. The color was light in appearance and slightly underdone in my opinion. There is zero crisp in the waffle and has the texture of a pancake. The steak sandwich is a good attempt, but far from a legit cheesesteak, plus the processed cheese created a very salty bite. You will never be able to say that the sandwich was dry as that toast is fried on the flat top in butter created a wonderful golden brown color and a finger print of butter. Overall, this experience exceeded our expectations and glad the staff made everything more enjoyable.

I was so disappointed. They really need a manager or need to review cameras on second shift. It was filthy in there and there was only one other couple at the time . The restaurant was pretty busy but service was great and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. I got the Gluten free Eggs Benedict and Gluten free pancakes. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict's was great, the eggs could have been cooked just a tad longer as the inner white part wasn't cooked through. The pancakes had great flavor and were thick and fluffy!
