And they were on the smaller size but as you know cows don't give away their milk for free so it's the expected rate no matter where you go. I went with a chocolate creamstick, chocolate cake donut with peanut butter cream and frosting, and maple bacon in both the round and creamstick versions. The chocolate creamstick was soft and absolutely packed with cream. It reminded me of the old-school Krispy Kreme Long Johns. The chocolate frosting was a little too sweet for me, though--I wanted more actual chocolate flavor. The chocolate cake donut with peanut butter cream was better. Great chocolate/peanut butter combination, although the cake donut itself was a little drier than I prefer. Nothing some chocolate milk couldn't fix. The maple bacon creamstick was easily the Best of the Box. Great maple flavor, plenty of fresh, quality bacon, a soft donut and sweet cream filling. The salty bacon with the maple and cream was an excellent combination. This is the one I'd specifically recommend. My son got the maple bacon round, and since he'll eat basically anything sweet, we'll consider him an enthusiastic but unreliable witness. Not everything quite lived up to the considerable hype for me, but the maple bacon creamstick definitely did. Between that, the wonderful service and the enormous selection, there's plenty of reason to come back and explore more of the case.
