Great local spot! I legitimately don't think they've changed really anything inside in the last 20 years and I love that about this place. They aren't trying to be trendy (which is refreshing!) and there is just such a sense of nostalgia here. I've never tried their food, but they have a massive sundae menu and everything I've tried, ice cream wise, has been good. The peanut butter cup ice cream is my favorite (milk chocolate base with chunks of peanut butter throughout) and their hot fudge is great. Most sundaes have two sizes (large and small) and their large still isn't quite what I'd consider "large" but I have no real qualms. Service was good as well on my most recent visit. Our only issue was the service. They only have one person working the grill and so it takes forever to get your food. That said the servers are friendly and the food was good. Think hamburgers and skinny fries like you would get at the Kresge or Woolworth lunch counter. The ice cream and candy selection will take you back to the good old days. We had a lot of fun visiting. My wife grew up in the area and used to come here back in the late 1960's. Come for the ice cream and candy but if you decide to eat, just be patient. read more

This is an old fashioned diner/ice cream place that looks like it's been here forever. When we visit my daughter and son in law, we go here to pick up the cookies and cream dairy free ice cream. When we went last week, they only had the vanilla dairy free ice cream. We decided to get it to go with some chocolate dipped waffle cones. They were all out of the chocolate dipped cones but told us they would make more if we waited. We decided to wait and those waffle cones were worth the wait. They were delicious. The vanilla dairy free ice cream was good but not as good as the cookies and cream. In addition to serving food in the diner area, they sell hot nuts, assorted candies, and chocolates. What a find! I had been craving a good diner experience and came across this place. It did not disappoint. I had a real cherry coke, smokie mt. Burger (added a patty cause hey it's cheat day) with tots. I finished with the rumba waffle Sunday but I removed the caramel and added peanut butter (much better combo with the banana and hot fudge). My only critique of the meal were the tots seemed over fried. They were a little dry, but the ranch I dipped them in helped lol. The ambiance is very local old school diner. It looks small but there's a room of more tables in the back if needed. The service is great. Friendly and hard working. They do have a little store section they sell candies and roasted nuts. If you're ever in the Canton area make sure to stop and get a taste of the past! read more

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries for take out was told it would be 15 minutes. Went to pick my order up and it was never made. Was told that I would have to wait another 15 min. The cook Kevin was sitting at the counter eating and enjoying his food slammed his cup down when he was done and asked me what I needed I told him I placed a order and no one ever made it!! My family stopped here for lunch and icecream before our 4.5 hour drive home from our Ohio vacation. My burger was great, though fries or sides are separate. My middle child got the Big Dog, a grilled hotdog on a grilled cheese with chili. He couldn't finish it all, so we all got to enjoy a piece of it. We liked it so much we started making it at home! The service was great. Our server was fairly new on the job, but was so friendly and willing to check on things for us that I could tell she was going to be good at her job. Now for the ice cream. I had the grass hopper sundae. A mint chip double scoop sundae with tons of hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. It was so good that, even though I was filled to the gills, I wanted more. Very enjoyable. Their portion sizes were very large also. My youngest son just got a chocolate almond ice cream on a waffle cone, and it was huge!! They had to put it in a bowl so he could work on it without melting everywhere. I may have helped him out some. Delicious. I highly recommend this classic diner stop for lunches and icecream fixes. This was my first time here and I absolutely adored this restaurant, it just felt so nostalgic. I came with my family as my husband was here many times before with family and friends. He shared some stories of this place with us. We ordered a jumbo banana split, old fashion root beer float, California strawberry Sundae, and a butterscotch pecan sundae and a 1/2 pound steak burger and it all hit the stop. Every flavor was great! Then before we left we picked out a few treats to take home. Our servers were so sweet and definitely full of energy. Everyone was so nice. Definitely a Canton institution! While ice cream is the big draw at Milk & Honey, their food is pretty good too! My wife and I both tried the turkey, bacon, and Swiss sandwich. The bacon was cooked perfectly (I can't overstate how important this is), and the turkey was moist and flavorful. They use Norcia's bread for their sandwiches, which is a definite plus. The french fries we ordered came out hot and fresh and were better than average as well. Overall, the food is good, the portions are plentiful, and the prices are completely reasonable (maybe even on the low side). While the food isn't necessarily gourmet, it is consistently good! The inside of Milk & Honey is a bit of a throwback to a different area. Although there is limited dine in seating in the front area, they have a separate back seating area as well. If you're just coming to get ice cream, they also have benches outside as (obviously best during warmer weather). read more

A great little old-fashion dairy/ice cream shop. They serve actual dishes of ice cream. None of this paper/plastic waste product stuff. Their single dip dishes are so cute. They are the metal base kind with a dish on top. I love that they wash and reuse them. How vintage. Also had a big, glass mug of root beer which contained my ice cream float. How priceless is that? It was so good. Things just taste better to me in glass. If you enjoy an old-fashion soda or a burger and fries, this place is an original. Everywhere you look there are old soda and Coca Cola bottles. It's as if time never passed. You will enjoy the antique items on the walls and there is a big neon ice cream cone on the ceiling. It's old-fashion but they serve modern sweets. I really enjoyed it. You can order while seated at the counter or from a booth. They actually have table service. Either way, you will have plenty to look at while you savor the flavor. The shop is near Malone University so campus keeps a steady stream of customers coming in and going out. Took my nephew the other night for an ice cream sundae. With a plethora of ice cream and sundae choices this place rocks! I had the bumpy road sundae which is vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and spanish peanuts. He did a create your own with mint chocolate chip and cookie dough with hot fudge and sprinkles. We were both in ice cream heavy. It's thick, rich, creamy delicious ice cream. Someone told me its from the Ryder dairy, no idea where or what that is, but it is good. I was a bit surprised that the sundaes were so small. My friends ordered a single scoop of their favorite flavor and we didn't get much more in a sundae. Still delicious. I've had the food there before as well, and its not bad. I remember going to Milk & Honey when I was a kids, so is fun to share with my nephews. This homegrown store is a great place to stop for ice cream and candies. I had a hot fudge marshmallow sundae for less than $5. It was a full sized serving that represented good value. The ingredients were all good. It is very close to a Mexican restaurant that I like to eat at when in town. They have many ice cream flavors and toppings.
