Charge 70 dollars for no results , just to look at it and tell you they can't do anything . Maximum 30 minutes of work, thats a pretty penny to charge for absolutely nothing . Also the guy is super rude and seems like a racist , as I was treated almost as an imposter in his store not a paying customer whose laptop they have. The white guy behind me was treated with far more respect . I would not take it for data recovery or really anything complex above the simplest problem which they will still charge a lot for anyway . Also when I opened up my laptop right now when I got home it's dirty as hell inside . 70 bucks and they couldn't even use a simple air cleaner on the parts. Lazy and rude and ineffective place. We've been using Sugar Land PC for years. They've worked on all our computers and have done a great job. They've removed a really bad blue screen virus from one of my computers. This was after Geek Squad told me I would have to do a complete Windows reinstall. They've also installed our router as well. I trust them and they don't try to run up the per hour rate by working slow. I've also bought a couple of their desktops. What I like about their computers is the fact there's no junk installed on the computer. They'll install whatever programs you want. You get a computer from a computer retailer and you'll get one with a ton of adware junk installed. The oldest computer I have from them is about 4 years old and I've never had an issue with it. I stupidly downloaded a program that had malicious malware. I used several different programs to rid my PC of it, but still wasn't comfortable that I had gotten it all. I called SugarlandPC Computer Repair and talked to Cody about it. He spent 10 minutes on the phone with me, a non-customer, giving me advice and suggesting other programs to use. I had expected a "sure, bring it in, we can't do anything over the phone" response, but did not expect someone to take the time to help me figure it out. If what he suggested doesn't get rid of the rest of it I will definitely be taking my laptop there. They've made a new customer. read more

They were rude to my wife Rude enough for her to bring up on multiple days She asked for an itemized receipt and was given attitude. Don't think that is too much to ask. Was charged $135 to replace laptop ac power jack. We wanted to see parts and labor breakdown and they were offended. Will not return here. I work in IT and sent her there as she needed done earlier than this weekend but didn't think we would get that treatment. read more

The worst experience ever! I had a problem with iMac . The final result of their "professional " work - is a bill of $70 and words that they can't fix it. $70 cost time they spent on testing computer and saying to me that they can't fix it. For me it is a great sense of humor! I am a staying home mom and with this business model I am gonna open a dentist office tomorrow and once you come to me with your tooth problem I have a good answer for you:" Yeah! You have a problem! But am not gonna fix it and as long as I spent my precious time on you and your mouth, I'm gonna charge you $200!!! You know- my time is expensive !!" What do you think? Excellent idea! read more

well....previous review was a five star...thought I had found a great IT operation...but alas....not to be...moved to a new office...wanted a printer installed...could not install due to my error...but spent next hour and half working on my email ..charged almost $200...problem worse once tech left ...multiple phone calls...letters and promises to fix but next came to pass...scheduled phone conference for remote fix.....then called almost 45 minutes later...they left several calls and emails but no action .....too much trouble to fool with...found another IT company..fixed problem this morning in 15 minutes...... read more

Took my desktop to SugarLandPC. Eric "who I have never met" cursed a lot during my initial visit and tells me that diagnostic will cost $70.00 bucks. The computer was experiencing blue screens and memory error. I build my computers (Five to date) but this does not make me a wire head and I have little diagnostic capabilities. No charges are posted in the front counter of this business. I agree on the price and sign the ticket. This was on a Wednesday. Friday I get a call to pick up and later that day do so. The assistant who delivered the computer back to me had told me that a bad hard drive which was not the C: Drive, was the cause of my issues. I get home around 4:00 pm and plug the computer in and wallah the same problem exist. I decide to change out the Graphics card which was new but suspect. Much of every component of this rebuild was replaced but this was to assure they would not pick on that part. Same problems still exist. I contact Eric that next Monday and I am told by him that the $150.00 they charged was not to cover any other discovery or repair they might diagnosis if I bring it back in. I state, "But you did not fix my computer and did repairs with out my authorization. I got off the phone to count to Ten. These guys are jerks and the system is rigged. I am having the hard drive checked and it better be dead. They pick your computer apart and say it could be a ton of things. On most computers its just settings although parts do fail. If you go to them good luck and ask for an itemized bill. I bet you don't get it. read more
