It's located on the second floor of the casino space and easy to locate. If you're wondering, the parking garages that are closest to the restaurant are Lucky Street and Winner's Way at the 2nd Floor/Casino level. After walking into the casino, it's a straight shot to the Sugar Factory as it's hard to miss with its bright and dazzling lights. The Sugar Factory takes a super playful approach at the dining experience as it truly makes everything a photo op. From the physical restaurant to the food itself, the patron is immersed in a "gram"-rich environment (light weight mad that the food here is more photo-genic than I am). It appears to be great for large groups and parties/celebratory events. There is a small candy/sweets section from where you can purchase those delectable morsels by the pound, along with other small trinkets. The menu is similar to other bar/grill-type restaurants (comparable to a BJs and even the Hard Rock Cafe). One main difference is in the focus that they place in their dessert/sweets section. It's such a fun stop, especially with kids. We went for dessert and one of their signature goblet drinks, and the whole experience felt like a show. The presentation alone is worth it colorful, over-the-top, and perfect for photos. The service was fast and attentive, and the atmosphere is super vibrant and kid-friendly. So holly, so jolly! This was the merriest and brightest lunch I've had this season. Yes, the decorations were wonderful and whimsical. Yes, the two items I tried off the holiday menu were excellent. I was seated on the "patio," since there was a very festive private holiday party in the main dining space. I liked my spot! It was peaceful-with a great view of the revealers. After studying the fun and photogenic holiday menu, I went with the Christmas sliders (cheeseburgers with crispy onions) and the Jack Daniels punch. Wow!!!! Both of these... so, so good! The sliders were cooked to perfection-and the vibrant-hued buns had a nice "crunch" to them. I actually said out loud:"man, these are good." The cute snowman mug full of the equally delightful punch (it was apple based, with all the warm spices. Fantastic!) winked back at me. Taylor suggested the punch and I'm so glad. The shakes here are actually delicious. I thought this place was mainly for pictures. All the menu items seem over the top, like let's shove more sugar in this dessert for the gram. Right now the place has exploded Christmas with the men dressed as elves and women as sexy Santa's. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the cookies and cream shake. It is definitely for sharing and at $16 it's more cost and waist efficient that way. I definitely couldn't finish one on my own. I was shocked how much I liked it. I thought I'd just have a couple of sips but kept going back for more. There was a bunch of whipped cream on the top and it was heavy (which I like). Took my daughter here for her birthday. Everything is over the top the shakes have five other desserts in it. The burgers say they're smashed burgers, but they're not really smashed burgers, but they are delicious. Food was fantastic. Service was great. This Sugar Factory is located inside of the Hard Rock casino and if you park in the Lucky parking lot, it's a short walk as it takes you directly there once you enter the casino. They don't take reservations on the weekends but we had no issues getting there once they open and basically had the whole place to ourselves. It is very aesthetic and lots of photo opportunities. Salmon with Mash Potatoes: 4/5, portion was very small for $33 and mash potatoes had a hard outside but they were both tasty. Just a little pricey for the portion. I would not recommend if you're going with kids. This place is inside of a smoky casino. There is no restaurant bathroom, so you have to go out into the casino to use the restroom. We were in town for a huge cheer competition and didn't book the "party package" because we couldn't get enough people to commit early, and didn't want to leave someone on the line for $50 extra per person. The hosts seemed bitter about this from the start. The waitress was amazing. Extremely kind. We had a ton of people coming from the competition , and the traffic was insane that weekend because of all the people in town. Our waitress was extremely patient. The host staff on the other hand, absolutely horrible. Extremely impatient, and seemingly doubting that we actually had as many people as we said we did on our reservation because we didn't all show up together. I can't even explain the amount of rudeness we received from every single host at that place. Food was ok. Not worth the price but we knew going in it was the experience we were looking to have as a last dinner with the team. The adults were stressed the whole time because of the attitude every one of us received from the hosts, but I think the girls had fun with each other either way. I would not recommend for a cheer team dinner for youth summit/the celebration. Maybe for a single family dinner, but even then, you have the casino factor. I know I'll never go back! We were at this location yesterday. I have been here once before as well. I was reluctant to revisit, but the food court was removed at the casino and this seemed like the best choice for a casual meal. This place was extremely popular as reservations were difficult to obtain even with the impending Hurricane Milton lurking around. Pro tip, they page you at the counter via phone. I had the fish and chips but the wait staff managed to misplace my order which was very disappointing. The Sugar Factory is definitely gimmicky, but as long as you know that going in it's very fun for a celebration! The drinks are totally over-the-top, I got the Nutella iced coffee which came with a Belgian waffle drizzled with Nutella on top, and a rim of Nutella with mini marshmallows. Signage directing you where to go is not abundant. That is the casino's issue, not Sugar Factory. We were greeted by TiTi. She was very friendly. The restaurant was completely and totally decorated for Christmas. Will Ferrell's character from Elf would have loved it. Christmas music was playing. Even the serving staff was dressed for the season. I loved it. Titi was great, explained everything well, and even told us if my daughters did a TikTok, we could get a dessert for free. We ordered. Taking price out of it, our food was average to pretty good. I asked for no onions on my salad and it was full of raw onions. But the salad itself was pretty good. My wife and one daughter got salad with grilled chicken and it was not great. Another daughter got a burger that was pretty average. The highlight meal was my oldest daughter's Sugar Factory club. The other highlight was the dessert. We got a Christmas theme, gingerbread man, shake. It was Spectacular! It looked incredible. My girls did a TikTok about it, and like TiTi said, it was free. So, for service and atmosphere, Sugar Factory was 5 star. Food was 2-3 stars. Today was very different than last time... First off, the food was really good as usual. However, they had barely anyone in the restaurant and it took a long time for just three meals. We ended up having to ask for our check too... Our waiter (a guy, I will be nice and not put his name on here, though it did start with the letter H) desperately needs retrained! My sister was asking about their vegetarian burger and he answered that he did not know what kind or very much about it (which is fine). But he never offered to find out and was short with his answers (rude). The experience went down hill from there as he decided to not be friendly at all (maybe it was because we were sharing meals with our small children? This Tampa/Hard Rock Cafe location is very bad and I had a much better experience with the Orlando location for my daughters birthday in the past!
