The place is super clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend to make an appointment or they will tell you to come an hour later. My sister and I came to get our nails done and we were very happy with how they turned out. I got a design and loved how it turned out. Plan to come here again.

I got red and gold nails for Christmas time and when I left they didn't care to clean up aground the nail I left with red polish on my finger. The same with my mom the lady at the end didn't care and just plopped on a clump of top coat and to ended turning out clumpy. After not even 1 day our nails started chipping. This is the only nail salon near me so I have to go there when I need my nails done.

I got a gel pedicure package that was to include a 10 minute message. Don't know about you all but I like a firm rub and my feet included. This gal tickled she rubbed so soft and it was only 6 minute, I timed it with my phone. When I questioned it she said ya ya and proceeded to rinse my legs down. She did a nice paint job. Not sure I'll come back.

A beautiful acrylic ombré full set for only $47!! Booking an appointment here was super easy, I called in the morning and they were able to take me during my lunch break. Vivian was my technician and she was super friendly & professional. I didn't have a lot of time but I really needed multiple services (full set , pedi & eyebrows waxed). She was able to finish everything within 2 hrs. Not only was it fast but the quality was 100%! Highly recommend Vivian and the rest of the salon!

French tip set done by Tammy and absolutely love!!!

Tammy at Sugar Coat always gets me in and has for the past 10+ years. Always makes sure I'm happy with the outcome and knows exactly how I love my nails. Nails last 4 wks strong and still look good. I appreciate you Tammy and the staff at Sugar Coat who always welcome me!

Staff are all very sweet. Took me in as a walk in. I got a gel pedicure. French tip. Was $38. They kept asking if I wanted my nails done and I said, "no" but they said they'll do $38 for gel and it was empty so I decided to do it to provide more service to them. I asked for French tip. Well, this is their version of French tip. I expressed how I wasn't pleased with the outcome of one finished hand so she went over it with all white (I asked for it) and it was thick and clumpy. So she took it off and I had no choice but to deal with the original look. Ugh. I still tipped for her work but I will be painting over these myself.

I always start with 5 stars. I went in for a gel manicure. Price was $21. I walked in and they were able to start right away which was nice. The water that I was to soak my fingers in was ice cold. The tools she used were not out of a sanitized baggy so that was very iffy. When I asked about the bubbles on my nail polish she tried to tell me that was just my nail and when I persisted she changed it. They started talking to the others working I could only imagine it was about me. She then massaged my right hand with the cuticle oil then the left hand with lotion. It was a pretty sloppy paint job. I wouldn't say it was a horrible experience . Just probably not the best. read more

This review is solely about Tammy & her incredible eyebrow service! I waited till I was 23 to start doing my eyebrows and never trusted anyone. I always heard horror stories but Tammy has been my go to for nearly 2 years now! She does a great job, she's quick and is super friendly! Very disappointed today came in at 2 on a Sunday. There was on lady doing nails aa guy watching tv and a lady doing something by where they do the pedicures, so I walk in Sayy hi she says hi I said I want a full set she like oh no one here today come back tomorrow. Wow you are open for another few hours and couldn't take me? Guess you all don't need money today read more

Such a horrible job . I went here yesterday to get a full set gel i specifically told the lady DO NOT make the nails narrow because my fingers are already narrow . She continued to file them completely narrow and super coffin which wasn't what i had asked for . Her file was not clean and she was really rude. THREE OF MY BAILS HAVE BROKEN OFF AFTER JUST GETTING THEM YESTERDAY . Paint job is gross. NEVER GO HERE !! read more

Extremely disappointed in this nail place. Never have I been anywhere that has done this terrible. And I have been to a lot of places. I had to ask multiple times for her to cut my cuticles because she just rushed through it. And they weren't even busy. My daughter also got her nails done she got the dip and they were just as bad. Came on a Monday afternoon .. White tip pedicure and White tip full set 5 stars for having a play place! My kids played the entire time 5 stars for speed of service (No one is here!) 5 stars for attention 2 stars for attitude the lady gave me when I asked for water 5 stars for the lady who did my pedicure 1 star for the man who did my manicure!! First and last time coming here. Lady that did my pedicure half assed it all the way. Asked to file my nails she cut instead. When cleaning up the cuticle she cut me. She didn't even clean under the nail. Definitely don't recommend coming! So much for being relaxed on my lunch smh read more

Went here because my usual nail salon was booked. There was no wait and I was attended to right away. The lady doing my pedicure did a decent job but she cut my nails very short. I thought she had cut me because it hurt when she was cleaning the sides, but no blood was seen, they are just very short. Friendly staff and the equipment looked clean. read more

This is my first time coming here. I went in for a pedicure and they did not put the plastic bag over the sink for my feet. I asked if it was cleaned she said yes. Their was a lady getting a pedicure before I came in once she was done they were going to put other lady without cleaning the tub . I said something they said the tub is clean. Horrible service the older lady who did my pedicure gave me a 10 minute "massage" while she yelled and complained about her day to her co-workers. I'm a therapist I pick up all non verbals. I asked her to stop she did not listen, asked her to cut my nails did not listen. I figured maybe she didn't understand the language she did she was just angry about who knows what. So I finally told her she didn't have to do it if she didn't want to since she seemed so upset. Worst worst most non relaxing mani pedi of my life and the nail polish on already chipped after one day in 3 nails. Horrible do not waste your money on frustrated employees. read more

I had a broken nail and could not go any longer with it snagging on my clothes and hair. I went to 2 different nail places in the area and they told me to come back in 30mins to an hour of course I didn't return. My friend told me about sugar coat nails and so when I walked in it seemed so packed but no they took me right away and I got an awesome gel mani and pedi within 40 mins! They were very fast and friendly. Will definitely return! read more

Honestly I don't even know where to start. I have been coming here since last summer and never had an issue but I never felt so unvalued as a customer! My sister-in-law and I showed up around 1 pm and it was pretty empty we both got helped within 5 mins however when (clearly a regular) customer walks in they stopped working on my sister just to work on her and it has happened before where they flop back and forth but no they completely ignored my sister for about 45 minutes. I asked if she had an appointment and apparently she did but I'm not convinced they seemed all too surprised when she walked in and had no idea what she needed! My personal experience was worse, almost all my fingers were cut and when it came down to design I asked for a simple v-shaped French tip. To my surprise that is considered a design which required an extra $10 charge!? I've gone to plenty of salons and they do this no problem. So I declined and said I'd do a nude color instead and she still continued to do the v- French tip after I clearly told her I changed my mind. I stoped her In the middle of one nail and reminded her I had changed my mind she nodded and began to paint my whole Nail white!? Again I told her I wanted nude (skin color) I said and finally she understood. When it came time to pay she didn't inform me of the price and rudely asked how much I was going to tip I asked how much my total was without tip and she raised her voice at me I couldn't believe this after all the mistakes she made! Still she had the nerve to toss the receipt to me and walk way! My sister-in-law still getting ignored finally began to get worked on by my nail lady after her original lady ignored her again for a pedicure customer who walked in Long after we did. Never Coming Back!!!! read more

I went in last minute for a full set and they were happily to seat me without hesitation. Normally most shops would tell me to make an appointment for the next day. I got a full set coffin nails manicure and it turned out so nice and for an extremely good price! It was only $22.00. I also asked if I could get my eyebrows done, I felt bad because they were closing but Vivian took me no problem! She didn't rush anything and made sure I was satisfied. I had coffin shaped acrylics done with a gel color and a cascading glitter top coat. I really love the way they turned out and received many compliments on them already. I also got a spa pedicure with the same gel color and ended my visit with an eyebrow wax. Vivian was very friendly and professional. She was careful with her work and occasionally checked with me to see if I liked the shape, length, etc. I really appreciate that! I look forward to coming back and trying a facial treatment here. I came here last Thursday with 2 friends ( 3 days ago) ..never coming back. I did not get the shape i asked for and even worse, the next day they were already falling off.. they look like I've had them for about 2 weeks! my friends looked the same to. I go back to get them fixed, they do not look any better. My other friends nails were falling off within only 3 days, she goes to get the falling ones fixed, and they did them way shorter than the ones that were not falling. This place is terrible. So my nails have been bending very easily and while playing with my son my pinky nail cracked. I went back today to see if they could save it from breaking completely off and add some acrylic so it would look normal and be the same length as my other nails. I believe it was the owner that helped me today she was very apologetic for my previous visit (she either remembered me or saw my yelp review lol) and said that maybe they didn't quite understand what I was asking over the phone.... anyways, I'm glad she was able to fix my pinky nail and apologize for my last visit. So I have been going to Sugar Coat nails for many years now, and it's hands down the best! I have compared their prices to other nail shops and no one can compare. It costs me only $41 to get a gel fill for my coffin shaped acrylics and a pedicure. They do not charge extra for shape. Their customer service is great, and if you need something touched up, they will do it no problem! read more

Do not go here…read more I spent $140 at this salon to get lash extensions for my graduation, and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. I have gotten lash extensions in the past and know how they should feel, but this set was completely clumped together with zero isolation. Within days, the heavy glue clumps began causing immense physical pain, itching, and a jagged, scratching sensation against my eyelids. Because multiple natural lashes were glued together in large chunks, the uneven growth rate began ripping my healthy natural lashes out by the root when they naturally shed (see attached photo of the massive clump that came out). When I called the salon to explain the situation and ask for a removal, they completely refused to help unless I paid an additional $10 fee on top of the $140 I already spent. They cited an arbitrary "3-day policy," completely ignoring the fact that I had to leave town immediately after graduation and that a botched, damaging application is a safety issue, not a standard adjustment. They do not properly isolate lashes, their application causes physical pain/damage, and their customer service is incredibly stingy and dismissive. Save your money, your time, and your natural lashes--go somewhere else.

Eva is very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. By the time she was done, we had swapped our favorite places to get dim sum, what our favorite Vietnamese foods are and what we like to order at boba tea shops. It was THE BEST experience. Sadly, I realized my eyes were sensitive and I had to get them removed. I am legit sad. Rose, the owner, is very responsive and helped me schedule a next day appointment. Bree is the artist who helped me remove my lashes. She's so gentle! The other lash artist (I'm so sad I didn't get her name) is also super knowledgeable and recommended I try ruling out what I'm sensitive to. We think it might be the primer. The salon is SUPER clean, the ladies wipe down the beds between each client and change the towels, the bathroom is SQUEAKY clean, and it's a gorgeous space. If you're ready to pampered and pampered well by artists who know their craft, come stop by Sugar Blossom Lashes. (While my set was gifted, this review was not part of the agreement. This review is something I decided to leave on my own.)

Positives -lashes lasted a long time -Carrie was wonderful at executing exactly what I wanted Negatives -Hygiene seems to be lacking. The lash tech did not wash/sanitize her hands before starting on me. I noticed she would leave to grab things occasionally or touch her phone, then continue working on me. My previous lash tech who I was with for 4+ years always hand sanitized before working on my eyes and if she needed to leave to grab something, she would sanitize again. -It also didn't seem like the hygiene cover was changed in between clients? I noticed it never looked fresh. This last time, there were holes on the cover. My previous lash place would always change the cover in front of me. -I've had my lashes done at dozens of salons before and I've never had this happen: every time I've gone to get my lashes done here, the bottom tape was always placed so close to my eye that it ends up hurting my eye. One of my eyes was so red and sore after this last experience. The tech is always quick to move the tape once I tell her it hurts, but there were times when she re adjusted and it was still poking my eye. Maybe it's just her technique but I've never had this issue before. Overall, I've been happy with the look and longevity of the lashes, which is why I came back. But after having my eyes poked and possibly scratched by the tape, and with the added fear of getting an eye infection from lack of hand hygiene, I think I'll try somewhere else next.

I had an appointment at 11:30 AM for a dip manicure and pedicure. After a 10 minute wait, I was seated, then waited another 30 minutes before someone actually came and started my pedicure. While getting my toes done, I asked three different technicians about my manicure--one had no information, one kept saying someone would come (no one did), and another said she only does pedicures. No one apologized or acknowledged the delay. After waiting OVER AN HOUR, someone finally came to move me, probably just to free up the chair while I continued waiting for a manicure. I would have left much earlier, but I was there with my friend who was in the middle of getting her nails done. At that point, I declined since it had already been too long. It is highly unprofessional for not one single person to come and check in with me or even apologize for the excessive delay. I think if there was any sort of acknowledgement I would have proceeded to get my manicure. I would not recommend wasting your time here.

This review is long over due. I have been here two times, and from my last two experiences I have had nothing but good vibes. My first experience was mindblowing. I was next door with my boyfriend, and I was looking at all the businesses, and I said "Babe there's a beauty salon here and they offer waxing, while you do your thing I' m going to see if I can get a wax." This is my new favorite nail salon! People here are super friendly and now what they're doing. Came in for a full set and a pedicure and it was amazing. For the first time ever, I didn't have to tell the person over and over again how I wanted my nails. I explained to him the length I wanted and shape, and that was exactly what I got. I've been a patron for nearly a decade, and I wouldn't trade my experience at this salon for anything. This shop is very service oriented... everyone is attentive and makes sure you are comfortable. The owner is incredibly accommodating, and will make any arrangements that best suit your needs. I stumbled across Sugar Coat when I was looking for a nail salon open past 6pm on a Sunday. I gave them a shot and couldn't have been happier that I did.. The ladies there are super sweet and personable and do such a great job. I even get my lip/eyebrow waxing done there. This is one of the cheaper nail salons I've found but you get the quality of a high end 5 star salon. I won't go anywhere else. read more
