Love Momma Millie's!!…read more A couple things you should know beforehand: There is street parking only. 25 cents per 15 minute parking. They are closed on Sunday. Almost everything is sold out by Saturday. You can call ahead to place an order or even ask her to set aside something. You cannot sit down and eat (small bakery.) There is not an online website, but they are on FB! Okay now on to the good part- the baked goods! I have been in here three times. The first time was for a french macaron that I happened to notice when I walked in and figured I'd try it. It was mango. The only flavor left, but it was delicious. Second time I came back for the macarons which were all gone. I decided to go with some vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I don't like frosting because it's either too sweet or tastes way too fake, but this frosting was amazing! Melts in your mouth and just has this wonderful flavor. The cupcake itself was moist and flavorful. I also got some oatmeal cookies, which my fiancé scarfed down and said they were the best he ever had. Third time I came back and she had the macarons this time. I got pistachio, mango, strawberry and a couple more that I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Maybe fruity pebbles or passion fruit? Not sure. Some of the macarons had a nice crunch and was fluffy on the inside, while the other flavors were a little chewy. Either way hey they tasted great. I also got an assortment of cookies and more cupcakes! They sell many goodies from cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannolis, whoopie pies, cheesecakes, eclairs, french macarons, cream puffs, brownies, etc. Since they are a local shop it's best to call ahead and see what's available but this is a nice, small local business with a wonderful woman behind the counter that you can tell bakes with love and passion. I will be a loyal customer along with many others to Momma M

Sweet Barista - Red Velvet Truffles

Sweet Barista

I recently ordered peanut rolls, a candy I grew up loving in PA, online from Sweet Barista. I was…read moredisappointed that the Post Office flattened the package in delivery. However, the candy was still delicious. Teresa, the owner, contacted me to make sure I received my order. When I told her what happened, she replaced it in much stronger packaging at no charge. I have also had cakes made by Sweet Barista when I have visited the area and I recommend them. This company has moved to 15 Alliance St. New Philadelphia, PA 17959

First, I was greeted by a locked door and a women outside smoking stating she would be inside in a min to let me in. It was all down hill from there. The Sweet Barista is in fact MISSING A BARISTA!!! the gourmet coffee they were refering to on the website was a Keurig Machine! Not to mention there were zero cakes, and pasteries on display. In the middle of the floor I was able to find a folding table housing a small covered container of 8 stale looking cupcakes with a mound of pretzel rods sticking out of the top. I saw the picture online and thought they were cute.....looks way worse in person! I felt completely dooped by the descriptions on the website! The decor was old, dusty and outdated.....I think they were trying to go for the vintage tea room look but missed hard! A couple of my friends sampled the only 2 types of cupcakes they carried, and were not pleased in the least. The cupcakes were stale, and had no flavor. Best described as a box cake mix gone wrong. Overall, don't waste your time!

I am going to keep the five star reviews going for Lancaster Cupcakes…read more Their product is just really good. My son had a Carmel milkshake and I took home a cookies and milk cupcake for my daughter. It is really clean with a whimsical, cupcakey feel. The servers were really nice and friendly each time we went in.

Their…read morecupcakes are hands-down the most flavorful, soft, decadent little masterpieces I've ever tasted. I have never had a bad flavor here. Not once. My year-round ride-or-die is the Strawberry Champagne... dreamy, sweet, a little bougie, and absolutely addictive. But the current seasonal obsession (pictured) is the Cranberry Orange and I am not kidding... it is obsession-level good. I'm already plotting to buy a dozen to freeze so Future Me can still thrive when the seasonal menu changes. The whole atmosphere? Gorgeous. Classy. Bright. Feels like you walked into the Pinterest board of a person who actually has their life together. And if you haven't tried a Cupcake Split, stop reading this and go fix your life. It's the perfect half-cupcake, half-soft-serve combo with fun toppings that make you feel like a kid again. This one is Cranberry Orange with vanilla soft serve and chocolate shavings, and I need it framed on my wall. Friendly staff, stunning space, ridiculous desserts... Yeah. You'll probably catch me in here at least once a week. Don't judge me -- judge the cupcakes for being irresistible.

I'm always looking for great pizza,as we have lots of pizza places around here but most are just so…read moreso. I've been reading about this place so while on an errand in kingston today I thought I'd check them out. As I've stated in the past my favorite thin crust pizza is the Dough Company so I set the bar high. I pulled in just to get a menu, the parking is good and that's a plus. Inside the place is neat and clean I asked for a take out menu and the woman that greeted me was pleasant got it and explained it,good so far. Keep in mind this was during lunch and there was a decent crowd in there so I asked how long for a pizza? " we're a little busy so 10 mins,is that ok? Works for me I had 10 to spare. So back in 10, " it will be another min. or so". It's been my experience that's never a good sign. To my surprise out it came in a sturdy box in a min. Getting better right? Now for the most important part: the pizza. Let's start with the crust ,it's well cooked, soft but sturdy and has an excellent flavor I suspect they use a starter and let it proof properly. It's light and tasty not doughy and tasteless. The sauce is robust and not watery it's the real deal it tastes like it was made from fresh sweet tomatoes (not overly sweet) ,the cheese is not rubbery, greasy or fake. Yes,this pizza is the real deal. Not cheapest, they have one size but it's not the most expensive either. I got a plain (best test). I can't put in the top 10 but I can put it in my top 3.
